We spoke before our tour and I gave him the name of a couple of wineries we wanted to visit, he also suggested a couple that he thought we might like based on our preference for reds. Dave took care of booking our private tasting and put together the schedule for the day. It is clear that he is passionate about wine and is very knowledgeable. As we travelled to the different wineries, he would give us information about each specific winery and explain what wines they are most well known for. Dave has a great sense of humour and is easy going, putting up with our silly antics. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dave and will use him again for our next wine adventure.Written August 18, 2019

Dave is a phenomenal guide, with a fun-loving personality and a passion for and expertise in wine. Dave organized a private and customized tour for us of various wineries around the Osoyoos area. He picked us up from Kelowna, accommodated our requests to visit specific wineries, and had outstanding knowledge of nearly every single wine we tasted. He also shared smart advice with us on how my partner and I could maximize our experience during the tastings, answered limitless questions about wine from production to tasting preferences, and also added an impromptu stop at a meadery for us at the last minute. The restaurant he suggested to us for lunch (at the Hester Creek winery) had phenomenal food and was a highlight of the tour. I would highly recommend Dave for a superb wine-tasting experience in the Okanagan.

4 Stop tour on a beautiful late summer afternoon day. Dave is a very knowledgeable wine guide (WSET 3) who knows how to make tours very enjoyable for expert and novice, alike. He has great repoire with the wineries and they clearly love to see him and his clients come to visit.
I learned that Dave also has a 235 bowling average - hidden talents!

My sisters and I took our mom on a trip to the Okanagan to celebrate her birthday. Dave toured us around West Kelowna and Lake Country and we had an amazing couple of days visiting wine country. He made excellent recommendations on lunch and supper spots, as well as wineries that would suit our tastes and budgets. His knowledge of wineries in the area and different wines makes the tastings even better. And we all appreciated your sense of humour on our drive. This was my second time touring with Dave and we can’t wait to come back again.

Dave was a fabulous tour guide!!! He tailored the day to match our interests, was knowledgeable about wines and ensured we were well taken care of. Knowing we were in good hands gave us the opportunity to relax and fully enjoy our wine tasting experience. Lots of good laughs and stories. Thank you for a memorable day Dave!

Dave was fantastic and very accommodating. We had an entire day planned weeks in advance, and had to cancel the morning of the tour due to a freak snow storm. Dave scrambled and planned us a whole other tour the next day so we didn’t miss out completely. He was very easy to work with and had good knowledge of the wineries in the area.

Outstanding experience! Having Dave pick the four of us up at my home and drive my car made it so convenient. The planning was so easy - he provided me with options and then scheduled and reserved each winery. He was funny, easygoing and knowledgeable - we really enjoyed the afternoon with him. I would choose this wine tour company over any other option in Kelowna.

Dave was an excellent guide on my bachelor party's exploration of the south Okanagan wine country. We spent most of the day touring wineries. Dave was willing to provide any level of guidance appropriate for the group. In our case, he put together a short-list of 'interesting' wineries and we picked from there. Dave was an excellent driver and vibed well with the group. I would highly recommend Dave from Wine and then Somm for any exploration of the interior BC wine country. Thanks again for the awesome experience!

Dave was a great tour guide and friend for the day during our winery tour on August Long Weekend. Dave is very knowledgeable and passionate about Wine with plenty of good stories about the area. Great way to spend an afternoon visiting a range of Vineyards, driven around by Dave in your own vehicle and returned to where you are staying. A fantastic small group based experience - highly recommend.

Dave was fantastic, we highly recommend booking your next tastings thru him. Fun, knowledgeable, laughed at our jokes, and had the perfect itinerary booked for our ladies trip. Wise Acres Farm Distillery is a must visit for Gin lovers.

10/10 would recommend this tour with Dave! He was so helpful in planning where to go and made us feel so relaxed and safe. We had a great time learning about wine with him and he kept us on a good pace without feeling rushed so we were able to hit 5 wineries! Everything was so easy with him meeting us at our hotel and driving our rental car on the tour before dropping us back off. He even carried the bottles of wine we bought back to the car for us. If you’re thinking about booking a tour with him, definitely do it!
