Loved every winery and the people who ran them were very welcoming. Steven took pics for us so we could enjoy ourselves. Everyone in the van got along really well. Steven was an excellent guide.

My wife and I had a fantastic Wine Tour. The Wineries were well selected with an excellent choice for our lunch. Ben our guide was excellent: knowledgeable about wines, fun to chat with and kept us in target.A tremendous time.

I’m not able to comment on the wine tour itself but I can comment on the terrible customer service we received from Shanti after booking one. The customer service was truly terrible and up there with the worst we have ever experienced. After booking a Lake Country Tour in June we were contacted at the last minute by Shanti (only two days before the Lake Country Tour was due to go ahead) and informed that we would be moved onto the East Kelowna wine tour. This was not presented as an option and we were given no explanation as to why this was happening. When we got back in touch later the same day to ask why we had been moved and if it was possible to do the Lake Country Tour, no explanation was given and no attempt was made to accomodate us. The response we managed to elicit was immediately hostile and was that we had consented to the switch in tour (it wasn’t presented as an option) that the tours are finalised a week in advance and we would therefore be charged in full if we did not attend the East Kelowna wine tour. We responded to point out that the change they were seeking to make was only two days out for the date we had paid for, and that we had not been given an option. I tried to call to get clarification and received no reply. We sent another message to ask whether it was possible to accommodate us but again, we were completely blanked. Due to Vivid Tours’ shocking service we were left with no option but to secure a last minute tour with an alternative company (it was brilliant) and not knowing whether we would be unjustifiably charged for a tour we did not book and were forced onto, which was stressful and unnecessarily put a dampener on our limited time in Kelowna. I’m sure the East Kelowna wine tour is lovely and we may have been happy to go ahead with it if we just had received an explanation for the switch and some detail about the tour but the customer service and lack of communication was so appalling we felt we couldn’t go ahead with the tour. We’re not trying to be unreasonable or difficult but just wanted to give a fair warning to others looking to book with Vivid, particularly if you are set on booking a specific tour.

I had an exceptional experience with Vivid Wine Tours. Our guide, Vicky, stood out for being incredibly personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made the tour truly enjoyable, sharing insightful information about the wineries and creating a comfortable atmosphere. My girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed. The tour itself was excellent, offering a delightful blend of great wines and beautiful scenery. Without a doubt, we'd love to book another tour with them in the future. Highly recommended for an unforgettable wine-tasting adventure.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Our guide, Bella, was great She kept us on schedule and was always there if we needed anything. It was quite educational and the wines were very good. This part of the Okanagan (Lake Country) and north focuses on white wines, so if your preference is red, you need to be farther south. The only reds we tasted were Merlot. These were quite good. All three wineries were in absolutely beautiful locations. Dinner can be a little expensive, but you need to do this. When you consider that you have a ride and don't need a taxi home, you can let yourself go and enjoy. Chaos Bistro was where we went. I can't think of a better location and I can't recall ever having a better meal. The wine was wonderful, as was our server, a really fun lady. She let us try the wine first before we ordered a bottle to make sure we liked it. It was a truly enjoyable evening.

My wife and I had a great weekend in Kelowna two weeks ago. One of our events was a Vivid Wine Tour. The tour and especially the tour guide (Vicki) were fantastic. The service after the tour is our complaint. We arranged to have our 9 bottles of wine shipped back to Ontario through Harlan, the owner. He stated it would be 2-4 days before they arrived. Here we are over two weeks later and no wine, no refund and not much communication from Harlan. My wife has initiated the majority of the communication and Harlan did call once. Harlan indicated that potentially the courier driver or the delivery company themselves may have misplaced the shipment. He said not to worry, as the $275.00 wine shipment was insured. Since the telephone call, nothing but radio silence. Harlan, time to make it happen. Please replace our order or refund our money.

My husband and I booked the Lake Country half day tour and they cancelled the day before and put us on a different tour. It was a nightmare. We were with 2 bachelorette parties and a divorce party with my husband being the only man on the bus (we were ok with this until one of the drunk divorce party girls asked my husband to be the stripper for everyone). We drove 16 hours with this tour as the main event planned that we had both wanted to do for years. By the end of the tour, there were 22 girls screaming into a microphone that had been provided for karaoke that was cranked on the terrible bus speakers and a tour that was supposed to last 4 hours (purposely chosen for that reason) ended up going from 2:30 until 8:30. We were starving and just wanted it to be over so we could hear each other talking without yelling over the crazies. The bus driver wanted to throw us in an Uber so he could be done with us, saying it would probably cost at least $50 to get back to the hotel (on top of $300 that we already paid for the tour). We found this to be one of the most bizarre, horrible experiences we’ve ever had and were so disappointed because it wasn’t at all what we thought it would be. My husband suggested to the bus driver that it would be nice if they saw that a 50 year old couple was on a bus with 22 bachelorettes, maybe a switch to a different group would have been appropriate. We also had to wait at one of the wineries while the cops searched the bus for 20 minutes with their lights on. Super weird. I hope someone from the company reads this review so that changes can be made in the future so someone else doesn’t drive so far to be completely disappointed at the end. Worst $300 we’ve ever spent.
