- paulmX2385PA00Seaplane experienceDid it mainly for the experience Only way to do Victoria and back in a day. Came back on bus/ferry Victoria is beautiful
- 561rickg00Vancouver Fall '23This was my second trip to Vancouver. I am trying to visit every Hockey Arena in North America. So Seattle and Vancouver was on this years list. Vncouver is a very nice city with an Internationl population. You will hear many languages and accents as you walk down Robson street. Capilano Suspension Bridge is a very nice plave to visit even in the rain. Granville Island offers lots of options for lunch and shopping. There are musicians who play for tips while you eat. Bring some money because Vancouver is not cheap. 💵💰 The Sea Plane tour down in the harbor was a great fun ride to see the city and surrounding muntains. I was the fist one t board and was offered the seat in the cockpit next to the pilot. Awsome view. Emrick was our pilot and he was awsom. I can't wait to go back.
- NorfolkFox00Bird`s Eye ViewsA surprise Anniversary present for my wife. We had fantastic return flights from Vancouver Harbour to Victoria. The flights were very smooth and the views fantastic. It`s the only way to travel to Vancouver Island!
- helenhT4352PK00Showing up early is NOT how to snag the copilot seat...Float plane ride - was advised "first come first serve" for copilot seat; arrived 70 mins early where front desk also advised "first come first serve" once you're at the plane. Someone that arrived just on time bumped into the pilot in the coffee line and snagged the front seat. I'm really disappointed. But otherwise flight was good. Cappelano Suspension Bridge Park was a lovely scenic place to spend the afternoon. Take the time to order a glass of wine or an Americano and take in the landscapes for a bit longer in the outdoor patio of the restaurant - it's worth it! Would definitely recommend the park.
- Shaulnie M00Beautiful!Excellent experience. Recommend the covered boat for children. Bring meds for motion sickness. Crew was so kind while we were sick. They were knowledgeable and answered all the wildlife questions. Scenery was beautiful and the tour educational. We loved it. The staff on the phone helped reschedule and were very accommodating.
- Sean R00Harbor to harbor travelWas a great option to travel from Vancouver harbor to Victoria harbor vs using the international airports or ferries. Clean and organized flight company
- PDXLEO00Fun Time! The pilot was great! Planes are not the most comfortable, but I knew going in from being on other similar aircraft. They are also pretty noisy as well. I list this for those who have never been on this type an aircraft, but don't let this deter you from going. Seeing Vancouver from the sky is quite scenic all in itself. Taking off and landing in water is also an experience, and a first for me. It's not the cheapest tour you can do, but still worth the price. Advice: Get a single seat if possible. Two seats together are very cramped. The bus trip to Capilano is fairly short. The suspension bridge is quite long, with GREAT views. The Tree Top bridges are great as well. Then add the cliff walk and you have a great time. The food is a little expensive but is enjoyable. Lots to see and experience outside of the bridges. Caretakers talking about each of their birds. It's a beautiful setting. If you book this package instead of separately, you'll save money. I hope you have fun and enjoy it as much as I did.
- marknK959AC00Suspension and SkyThe Sea plane experience was a must do. We had a amazing flight looking over Vancouver and the the surrounding area. The lady that helped with our booking was great ensuring we had time to get off our cruise and to the terminal. Capilano Suspension bridge provided a great experience not for the faint hearted with great views looking down the river and valley. There are plenty of stairs and climbing to get your steps in.
- Caroline W00Flight over was very good. The return was too long. It was a five hour return. Not explained in the tour description. The flight over was good. The return was too long. 5 hours which was not explained in the description of the tour. To many drop offs and pick ups.
- lauraaL309NA00Such a great adventure and so scenic! We had a great flight from Vancouver to Seattle. It was so easy from check in to end of trip. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The whole process was very streamlined and efficient. Our flight left right on time. The flight itself was very scenic and smoother than I expected. I would recommend to any and all!
- Terri K00Terrific trip! The ride was smooth and provided excellent views of the city of Vancouver and the surrounding mountains. A wonderful experience, well worth it!
- mosmokin00Victoria by sea plane! What an experience…our first sea plane ride was from Vancouver to Victoria on Vancouver island. The entire process was easy, the views were beautiful and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend it for a day visit or longer.
- PEST201500Beautiful viewsBest and fastest way to go to Victoria for the day. You don’t waste hours on the ferry. Airline is efficient.
- lucazH8442QI00A rollercoaster with amazing viewsGreat tour, great views. The staff was friendly and the booking without any problems. The pilot was nice and brought us very close to the glacier and some other points. I did not expect the tour to be as exciting as it was. It might be a bit of a challenge for people with a nervous belly and motion sickness. It’s not cheap but so is everything in and around Whistler. For this experience the money is well spent.

We decided on the day to take a sea plane tour of the city and wow it was amazing. Booking was easy and we opted for the package where you had an audio tour and a drink in the bar afterwards. The views were amazing with plenty of opportunity to take some stunning photos. The flight took off and landed smoothly and the pilot and crew staff very friendly. This is an excellent way to see Vancouver by air and I would highly recommend.

Imagine -dark and tumultuous cloud closing-in on the City. A ray of sunshine streams down and lights our seaplane as it takes off, spray and spume flying! Then this incredible enormous city spread out before us! AMAZING! And the pilot was a great and funny guy too. He swept us over towards Bowen Island, and it too was lit by the sun amidst ominous cloud. There is so much more we want to explore now! Then we were off to the hanging bridge at Kitsilano. We did all the trails and elevated walkways, and then had a picnic before crossing back. It was so serene there...

This was my first time booking a ticket or flying with Harbour Air. I did the Mail Run tour which I thoroughly recommend for anyone who wants to experience multiple takeoffs and landings over breathtaking scenery. I was thoroughly impressed with the company throughout the process, from booking my flight to my flight experience. While Harbour Air initially booked me for the wrong flight day accidentally, they quickly owned up to this mistake and did everything they could to make it right. They responded promptly to each of my emails and calls with different options. They worked with me consistently until I was satisfied with the outcome. That itself would have been impressive enough. The staff at the Harbour Air check-in in Vancouver and Salt Spring Island were equally cordial, professional, and patient with me. I loved the coffee bar and baked goods which were complementary for those with a plane ticket. My pilots were friendly, instructive, and professional, and my flights were breathtaking. I can't wait to return to Vancouver for another opportunity to fly with them.

It was easy to book the experience on-line while in Vancouver even as a UK visitor.
On the day of the experience I followed the signs approaching the Harbour area to the seaplanes’ boarding area where there are sizable premises for check-in with a number of seaplane operators as it serves travel as well as experiences. Check in was quick and easy, ID is necessary. There’s plenty of seating with views of the harbour and complimentary coffee and tea for passengers, a shop selling snacks was doing steady business.
The flight tour itself is fun and engaging, we were met by the pilot at the gate and followed him to the plane, he gave us a quick brief on boarding, seating and seat belts. The pilot and ground crew all give a sense of a safe, competent and experienced operation and the aircraft looks in excellent condition. It’s a honed operation that addresses safety efficiently. It’s quick to board and get seated with the pilot and ground (jetty) crew helping throughout so we were pulling away from the jetty very soon.
A seaplane is a very smooth way to fly, the weather was clear with some sunshine and blue sky so we were lucky. Take off is exciting as with smaller propeller aircraft, the pitch of the engine and the spray from the floats and the speed it covers the water are thrilling and it’s a smooth ride. We had a good 20minutes in the air covering the harbour area heading further out west and back to circle downtown Vancouver before landing. A height in hundreds of feet means quite a lot of detail of buildings, boats, etc is apparent (it was clear weather) with phenomenal views of the extensive Vancouver district which was engaging and compelling, if the flight lasted an hour I wouldn’t have been bored and an aerial view of downtown where I’d been staying the last week rounded off the experience and the visit perfectly. Landing is smooth and we’re back at the mooring jetty in no time. Looking back, it needed about an hour and a quarter for the entire experience keeping to the advised check-in schedule. A really enjoyable experience and a great way to end a week in downtown Vancouver.

Inside the cabin was very smelly. Gasoline smell all over the cabin. I think seaplane was too old. Harbour Air in Canada has to change or remodel them. At least inside the cabin. We pay $550 for 20 minutes for 3 adults and 1 child.

This thrilling experience meant we were able to see the fantastic skyline of downtown Vancouver, the scenic beauty of the snowy mountains and the stunning views of the Strait and various gulf islands in British Columbia.
The staff were super friendly, inviting and you are even offered complimentary hot drinks and cake whilst you wait in the boarding lounge.
The pilot was also great and made us all feel safe and welcome, also granting us with a chat post flight to tell us of his further travels that day.
As mentioned, the views were breathtaking and it’s a fantastic novelty to fly in a seaplane, something I’d never thought I’d do and 30 minutes felt like just the right amount of time for the experience as well.
I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely excellent experience ! My partner booked this trip for the two of us, and we were lucky enough to have ‘Sam’ as our pilot for the morning. It was supposed to be a 20 minute tour, but was more like 40 mins. We did get lucky with the weather, as it was a beautiful day, and the views around Vancouver bay, over Stanley Park, and a loop or two over the city, was just superb.
I thoroughly recommend this tour, it’s not cheap but the memories are priceless.
The aircraft and facilities were very well maintained, and safety comes first, which is very reassuring.
If you’re looking for a buzz taking off from the water, and then seeing the beautiful Vancouver bay/city, and then to land back on the bay, then this is a great trip to arrange.

Absolutely incredible experience with Harbour Air on Salt Spring Island. Our 10:30 am flight to Vancouver was canceled due to poor weather. The staff immediately advised us of alternatives including re-booking a later flight and ferry options. We re-booked knowing full well that the 1:20 pm flight may be canceled (and it was). The Harbour Air staff immediately issued us a refund and shuttled us to the ferry. The staff made us feel welcome to stay in the waiting area with coffee and snacks and provided exceptional service. Thank you so much!

A friendly service delivered professionally. It was a wonderful way of experiencing the beautiful city of Vancouver and its surrounding islands from the air. The take-off and landing experience alone was worth the and expense, and the views on a clear sunny day … priceless! I recommend it.
Tip: If you are visiting Vancouver over several days, try to book your seaplane experience after you’ve had time to explore the city from ground level. This will allow you to appreciate the landmarks even more when you view them from the air.

This a 20 minute ride, not counting the time to check in (at a very comfortable place with complementary coffee and a view) and board the aircraft. The flight goes out over the Burrard Inlet, over the Lion's Gate Bridge, north over the Georgia Strait, and back over the south side of the City. The sights are fabulous. The ride seems longer than 20 minutes. We are very familiar with the area, and enjoyed this new perspective of the beautiful city.

The plane is small so I don't think you'll be able to store it inside. But the front desk area is like 100m away from the plane. You should be able to store it there. Although the staff was very sweet, I suggest call once before booking and confirm this.
