Such a fun activity and a great way to learn more about the history and the scandalous past of Vancouver. Glenn was our storyteller and he was very entertaining and also checked in with all members of the group to ensure everyone was ok and following along. Highly recommend for both lower maintains locals and tourists to the area. Also the hot chocolate from Trees was delicious!

The tour of the Gastown section of Vancouver was awesome! The tour guide, Glenn, was absolutely the best. His knowledge of the history of the town was amazing. We went on the tour while in town with a Philadelphia Flyers fan group.

Highly recommend taking a tour with Forbidden Vancouver. Rob was our tour guide and was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and entertaining. We took the hot chocolate history tour and it was exactly what we were hoping it would be. We learned a lot and got to see some beautiful buildings and some holiday decorations. The tour was well organized. Rob made sure everyone could hear/see and kept a good pace throughout. Very impressed and would happily take more tours from them.

Great introductory tour to Vancouver. The guide was very knowledgeable and added humor to the history. He did a great job of keeping track of the group on the busy streets and showing us some lovely buildings

Will was such an informative and fun tour host who explained part of Vancouver’s histories I’ve never heard before. The hot chocolate was amazing and the tour featured a lot of architectural descriptions which I find fascinating. Including a lot of art deco buildings to look at. Thank you, Will!

We really enjoyed learning about our own city and especially the history of the buildings we see from outside everyday. We didn’t want the tour to end! Our guide was great too!

Went with a group of friends for my birthday and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Glenn is entertaining, engaging and really informative. You can tell he has put a lot of work into digging up this history and communicating it in an entertaining fashion.

Loved our tour of downtown Vancouver with our guide Rob, who was wonderfully entertaining. My husband and I were visiting from Chicago for the first time and learned many things about the city that we wouldn't have found on our own. We especially enjoyed the private tour of the beautiful deco Marine Building that we wouldn't have been able to see inside as it was a Sunday. The pastries and chocolates were a nice addition and we went back to the stores later in our trip to buy more. Thanks Rob for an exemplary experience!

It was simply out of the box/ballpark and over the roof. Glenn is a natural-born storyteller, and I'm so happy he makes a living from his vocation rather than occupation. He is a bottomless fount of knowledge and a walking archive of all Dr. Google doesn't know/show/have. He has impeccable diction and a voice loud enough to work without a microphone and screaming. This was a very interesting and well thought out tour to show the dark secrets of Stanley Park. Our tour guide Rob was an excellent storyteller and was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A great way to spend our last day in Vancouver.
