I was in Vancouver for just 3 days prior to boarding a cruise ship to Hawaii. We asked around what to see before we left home and booked a half day trip and a full day trip. This review is for the full day trip. Wow what can I say, Vancouver is a beautiful city with so much to see that I will make sure I spend more time there next time. We had a full bus for this tour so lots of people for the tour guide to connect with and answer questions from. Our guide was Jason Southern who was so knowledgeable and his enthusiasm it was infectious. Jason didn't was us to have a good tour he wanted us to have an amazing, memorable and at the same time educational tour. He was personally invested that our experience was the best it could be. He delivered his commentary with humor which made it fun to listen to. We were very lucky and had wonderful weather affording us spectacular views from Grouse Mountain. I use a walker for mobility I did not think I could go on the chair lift but Jason encouraged me to take it to the top of the mountain and I am so pleased he did. I felt privileged for see with my own eyes the beauty all around. Capilano Suspension Bridge is Fabulous. and well worth a visit. It is clear that the owners have invested a lot of money in making the park save for all. Unfortunately I was not able to experience the cliff walk due to my mobility issues but my sister did and said it was spectacular! Later in the day we visited a Salmon diversion and education center. This was most informative and I learnt lots. All in all we had a wonderfull day made all the more better becaus eof the tour guide we were lucky enough to score. Not wanting to end on a bad note but just to be fair, if there was one thing I would change it would be the range of pick up locations for the tour. Its great that there was free pick up from downtown city hotels. I would like (even for a fee) pickup to be available from a wider circle of hotels. We were just out of the catchment area and having never been to Vancouver before were a little worried about getting to the start location. So not to end on a bad note I have to say I throughly recommend Grey line tours and in particular Jason Southern as a tour guide. I hope one day to return and see much more of beautiful Vancouver.

What a nice tour and beautiful day we had with our tour guide Bobby! We toured the salmon hatchery, Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The greenery and foliage of these areas is just incredible! Bobby was a great tour guide entertaining us with stories from his youth in North Vancouver. This tour is a bit long (mainly due to long lines at Capilano) so make sure to have snacks and bottled water available.

I was a bit disappointed in the Grouse Mountain part of this tour. We started the tour early in the day. It was pretty foggy that morning, so the visibility going up was poor. I did like the two shows that we saw once we were at the top, the birds of prey and the lumberjack shows. I loved the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. I could have spent much more time there. If I had known about this part, I would have arranged to get there and go on our own. But of course, that is why we chose the tour, because we were unfamiliar with both. Jason, our tour guide was fun.

My wife and I took our college graduate on this tour. It was easy to book on trip advisor, and I received a confirmation email and message from the company. Our bus driver picked us up at the Westin Bay Shore and proceeded to pick up 12 others at different hotels nearby. Our guide was Lesile, boy he was great! He narrated the trip through town, Stanley Park, and everywhere else. He made sure everyone got to the right place at the best times. We started off at Grouse Mountain. Leslie, our guide, he made sure everyone got on the gondola to head to the top. Once there, he explained what to do and see along with the times of the different activities. They have 2 grizzly bear there that just came out of hibernation. Then we saw the birds of prey narration, got on the ski loft to go another 700 feet to the top, and then ended back at the lumberjack show. The walk from the gondola to the activities was about 1/4 mile with huge wood carvings along the way. We had time to grab a snack and drink before meeting back with the group to ride the gondola back down. From here, Leslie took us to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. He took us over to the ticket booth. He explained what to do, and since part of the higher tree top activities were under repair, he gave each person $15 snack voucher from the bridge company. With ample time, we did the suspension bridge, walking through the board walk and then back to the cliff walk. We could have used an extra hour here to do everything. For us older ,out of shape people, it worked out.
Everyone met Leslie back in the bus and then off to the salmon hatchery. This was interesting for us. Leslie dropped us off and walked us through the exhibit, explaining things along the way. He turned us loose for 20 minutes to get pictures in the area. This tour would not have been as fun without Leslie. We been on other bus tours, this was one of the best!

This experience is much more than the bridge. The suspension bridge and treetop adventure is extremely well made and feels sturdy and safe. I expected it to be just the bridge but the walkways through the trees were delightful. We were there the last week of august and it was not too crowded to enjoy.
Even the parts where you were way up in the air felt safe and it’s just beautiful. The buses to town run every 15 minutes.
I’m guessing that mid summer you should be careful about when you go because there were queue ropes that were empty when we were there that were indicative that it sometimes is too crowded to enjoy. When we were there the bridge was full of people but the rest of it moved fairly well. A great walk through nature and the gift shop and restaurant were very good and reasonably priced.

A lovely day out to see a different side of Vancouver, a chance to escape the city and step into the richness of history and nature. Grouse Mountain was good, although we did not see the bears, it was still pleasant to explore the beauty of the mountain and surrounds. Capilano Park was incredible, be mindful that it does tend to get a bit crowded on the suspension bridge, but just hold on tight as you move along, because once you're over it'll be worth it! The last stop was the Salmon Hatchery which was an added bonus, a relaxed and insightful ending to an active and eventful day.Thank you our tour guide Graeme and driver Charles, you guys made a great team and did well to manage our large group, great job guys! A small adjustment I would like to recommend is that the company try to be more descriptive of the meeting point guide as it can get quite chaotic at Canada Place trying to locate the tour amongst the crowds, i.e. Look out for your guide wearing a green shirt with a sign board or have the person hold a pole with the sign board on. All in all- good day out and would recommend this tour.

What a fantastic tour! Our tour guide Leslie was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. He was excellent and very considerate making sure everyone was well informed throughout the tour with all the options to suit each persons needs. We could not have asked for a better experience. The weather was beautiful and all the attractions were great. While I’m a bit scared of heights I highly recommend braving all the attractions as it was all very worthwhile. We highly recommend this company and our tour guide. Thank you Leslie!! From the 3 Aussies :)

Grouse mountain was a great place to visit and so was the Capilano park. However, we felt the tour was rushed and no flexibility. First of all the tour was supposed to start at 10:30 and did not start until 10 minutes late. When we got to the Grouse mountain we were told to get to the air tram by 2 pm to get down as the bus will leave at 2:10 pm. So we rushed through all the attractions and by the time we got to the air tram station it was packed with people going down. So obviously we had to wait longer than expected. I even called the Grayline tour company to let them know that I will be late. By the time we got down we were about 10 minutes late and found out the bus driver/tour guide left us without even trying to contact or wait for us. When I called Grayline they told me that my options were to get a public transportation or taxi to get to Capilano park to meet up with others. When I asked if they will pay for it then they called the driver/guide and had her come back and pick us up. We were already 30 minutes behind then others and the tour guide did not want to extend her time at Capilano park. So we ended up just doing little walk over the cliff walk and totally had to skip the suspension bridge. We felt the amount money we paid for this tour was not worthwhile.

It was a dull, rainy and misty day. We spent far too long (2hrs 40mins) up Grouse Mountain, we couldn’t see anything for the mist and fog, most people spent the time sitting in the cafe!!! Then we only spent 1hr 40 mins at Capilano Bridge, where there was far more to do and see, so we felt rushed. When the weather is inclement they should adapt the timings accordingly. Plus the trip,is advertised as a half day tour, we were collected at 10.00am and didn’t get back to our hotel until 5.30pm.

Great tour! Greg, our guide was lovely! He shared plenty of info, not only about the places we visited but also about Vancuver in general.
The scenery on this tour is incredible and a great way to see the city top attractions without any hassle. We were able to get hotel pick up too, which was very handy although the meet up up point is very accessible if staying near downtown
Highly recommend it!

Hi there! My group and I are excited to book this tour but just wanted to make sure - the Grouse Mountain portion does include the grizzly bear enclosure, lumberjack show, and “Birds in Motion” show as well?
Also, we are staying at an Airbnb on Nelson and Burrard St in/near the West End. Would there be pickup available around there?
Thank you,
Crystal

The grizzly bears, lumberjack show and birds of motion were included but the lumberjack show started around the same time
As the lumberjack show. We missed the beginning of the lumberjack show. It was so foggy the day we went we could barely see the men at the top of the poles. The tour company was very responsive to our questions about pick up locations. I would call them.
