- 66Laurette0 contributionsgood time vut a rougher ride than expectedVery worthwhile trip, especially the captain who was knowledgeable, friendly and cheerful. The ride was rougher than I expected, would have preferred to go slower so wouldn’t have had to hold on so much and would have liked to have some bottled water or told to bring some. Good idea to wear full suits that were provided otherwise we would have been quite wet! Overall a good time.Written September 15, 2024

- tamara-florence0 contributionsWonderful WaterfallsOne of the most beautiful tours to do with Sea Vancouver. It was a unique experience and a very special tour with Captain Jake. We got soaked. It was raining a lot and it had been for a couple days before. It was absolutely worth it though. We saw so many beautiful waterfalls because there had been so much rainfall. At the main waterfall we saw an abundance of stunning blueish-white Moon jellyfish! The tour goes on an amazing route up the Indian Arm. The rain made everything that much more mystical and magical. Amazing tour! Thanks! Ask for Captain Jake to take you out on a wondeful Waterfall tour!Written September 9, 2024
- tamara-florence0 contributionsOcean Roller Coaster RideThe ride was amazing and stunning views of Vancouver and the Bay! Captain Jake did an awesome job and I highly recommend trying to get on one of his tours! If it looks a bit wavy out on the ocean that's the best time for a Sea Vancouver tour! It was the most fun roller coaster ride on water, with stunning views. Bonus: we went on the last tour of the day, so caught the beautiful sunset while driving around in the Bay. (Stunning views of lighthouse park!) Even saw a couple of Eagles up close. So much fun and incredibly beautiful! Thank you Jake for making it such a great experience!Written September 9, 2024
- timothym4380 contributionsGreat experience!Jake was over the top making sure we had a great experience! He gave us 30 minutes extra since whales showed up when we didn’t even expect that to be part of the journey so we could get pictures, but was careful to not bother the whales by shutting down the engines. Captain Thomas was very knowledgeable about the city of Vancouver, and by the end of the 90 minutes, we understood the geography of the area, its limitations, the major attractions, and the history of the city. Without exploring the full city, you are able to understand the distinguishing features of Vancouver. The speed boat is also just fun, and thrilling. This boat tour is worth the few extra dollars over the larger ones.

This was our third time exploring the waters around English Bay with Raphael and each time was as outstanding as the first. Raphael is very pleasant and knowledgeable. His costumer service skills go above and beyond and he strives to remember the names of all his guests. He is passionate about his job and it shows. I have learned so much about my city from this tour. The tour itself was educational and the views unbeatable. Prince of Whales is a well run business that offers outstanding experiences.
I would also like to praise Emily from the office. I had to change my time and dates a few times due to unforeseen circumstances and poor weather and she was very helpful and accommodating.

Captain Raphael showed us a wonderful time on our tour today. He was very safety conscious and explained the boarding and expected behavior onboard. I was impressed with the careful attention he paid to a disabled passenger in helping to get him on and off the boat.
The tour was fun—we stopped at various places of note while he kept our attention with stories and a little history of the area. Not only that, but he took several pictures with his phone and emailed them free of charge.

I have been living in Vancouver for more than 5 years, yet, in this trip I was able to see the city on a different angle while learning several interesting facts and history of my beloved city, told by our guide, Robert. Natasha was driving the boat and it has been a very smooth and fun trip. I certainly recommend, regardless whether you’re a tourist or have been living here for quite some time like me.

We did the City and Harbour tour with Natasha who we found to be a great host, very personnable and she made it fun for everyone on the tour. It gives you a chance to see a lot of what you see during city tours from an outside perspective. She knew her history and every time the boat stopped she would talk to us about what we were seeing so this is a good alternative to taking a city bus tour.
I get seasick and was mostly ok during this tour but I could see some people neeing to take something for it.

Probably the best and most exhilarating harbour tour you can do! Wonderful views of the city and great photo opportunities from start to finish. Raphael gave us succinct (yet entertaining) commentaries at each of the 6 stops.
Everyone was kind and helpful from check-in, suiting up, to safe keeping of our bags and pouches. Full marks to Raphael, Stephanie and Robert, our three captains, for keeping us very safe. Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable 90 minutes.

Outstanding tour. They take you out in English Bay and blast by the big ships in our case a large container ship you felt you could reach out and touch. Our tour guide Natasha while providing history on the Vancouver harbour also proved adept at spotting Harbour Porpoises chasing salmon as well as a Harbour Seal in False creek. Also on her lunch break after dropping us off she sent us some photos both shots she got the group to pose for and ones she took adhoc while touring around. Once again Trip Advisor came though my son was not enthused about going on a harbour tour but the hard bottom zodiacs with 2 150s ramped up the fun factor. A must do In Vancouver we hope to come back and do one of the inlet tours.

Natasha the consummate pilot and Robert the entertaining navigator and orator made this afternoon on the water both informative and fun. The red body suits for safety and warmth were very hot in the sun today. Nice trip, albeit i overheated.

We went on the harbor tour as a means of getting oriented to Vancouver, and the tour worked well for that purpose.
The time spent (about 90 minutes, including safety lesson, etc.) is about right for the information provided. The trip in the Zodiac was comfortable and fun. Stephanie taught us about the various geographic and geologic features in and around Stanley Park and the inner city harbor as well as about key buildings, with pointers for how best to visit the places we saw.
(You are given the option of wearing a life vest or a full suit. We found the life vest sufficient. We never got close to wet. A windbreaker was plenty of cover on a 75-degree day without a lot of wind.)

We're delighted to hear about your positive experience on the harbor tour! It's great that the tour served as an effective introduction to Vancouver, and the well-paced 90-minute duration, inclusive of safety instructions, seemed fitting for the insights provided. The Zodiac ride's comfort and enjoyment factor stood out, complemented by Stephanie's informative narration on the geographic and geologic aspects of Stanley Park and the inner city harbor. The flexibility of wearing a life vest proved ample, especially with a windbreaker, making it a pleasant outing even on a moderately warm day.
