The trip was absolutely worth it. You can see a lot of things in this few days without much to worry about. The tour guides (Chris and Kimberly) did an amazing job! They told us a lot about Canada and the Rockies on our way. It was never boring and well organized. The bus driver was trustworthy even in the snow. The hotels were clean and comfortable.
Absolutely worth the money!!!

Well organized tour which allowed me as a solo traveller to make the most of all the incredible sites along the way. Ian our wonderful guide and driver was very knowledgeable and had great stories and anecdotes to keep us informed and entertained on this great journey. We did the 5 day Premium Rockies tour and it was really incredible! Although it is a lot of driving (to be expected with this distance), it’s well worth it for the sights, experiences, and stays along the way. My favourite parts were the glacier walk and Moraine lake! Ian was our guide and I really liked him. He was informative, organized yet relaxed, and entertaining. Highly recommend! :) thank you for a wonderful honeymoon!

Had so much fun on this trip! Our tour guide Ian and his assistant Jazz made the trip very enjoyable. Plenty of rest stops and time to take pictures or grab a bite to eat. We saw many beautiful landmarks, stayed in great hotels and ate delicious food. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable. A wonderful and easy way to see parts of Western Canada.

My mum and I did this trip with guide Chris and driver Nigel. We had a fabulous group of people, with ages ranging from approx 20 to 80 however everyone got on so well. Chris has wonderful knowledge of everything and is organised and fun. Nigel was an amazing driver who got us everywhere safely and on time. The hotels were all much nicer than expected with comfy beds and good breakfasts included. The morning gondola ride/breakfast up Sulphur Mountain in Banff was great. Do the walk up the stairs to the lookout - it’s easier than it looks and the view is worth it. The only thing I would change about this tour is the ranch bbq - whilst it was an ok night, the food was poor and activities not organised (by ranch not tour). The glacier trip was fabulous and we were lucky enough to have snow and sunshine. Plenty of stops for breaks so you’re not stuck on the bus for hours on end. Lake Moraine was a highlight- simply stunning. I would recommend this tour and company to everyone - good value for my money and a great itinerary. Thanks again for a wonderful trip. It was truly memorable.

Just completed a wonderful 5 day Rocky Mountain/Banff/Lake Louise tour. This scenic and educational 2000 kilometer trip with 38 folks on a nice bus was made extraordinary by tour leader CHRIS , and co leader ( and driver ) NIGEL. Chris has superb knowledge of the geology of the area, history of every stop plus all areas along the way. Nigel, ( the professional singing/ composing tour guide) , who leads trips also, was the perfect accompaniment to Chris. They worked well together to insure we were well educated, on time and well fed. The hotels were adequate for the price; bus was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this tour to see key sites in this area of Rocky Mountains, Banff, Lake Louise etc. in a few days, while not being exhausted at the end of the tour.

Our tour of the Canadian Rockies was a very special time for me, my wife and her father. Vacationing on a bus trip was new to all three of us, but the choice ultimately turned out to be the perfect way to relax, spend time together and leave the logistics to others. One cannot say enough about the scenery, but the importance of sharing the journey as family was just as important. We have much to remember.

However, the trip was made *so* much more memorable due to the superpowers of our driver and fearless leader, Matt Paugh. He regaled us with history and stories while driving. He zipped past all of the tourists in parking areas to get us access to the lakes and sites. He found us wildlife. He handled headaches at our lodging facilities with poise. He led and educated us like a schoolteacher when it was needed. He let us wander and explore when it was time for us to discover. He made sure everyone got to sit up front to get the full experience of the drive. He dexterously snaked our bus to amazing places. He made sure we were well fed and had plenty of water. He knew the best rest stops. He spent time with us when off duty, but covertly slipped away to shop when supplies were needed. He cared for those who were not as mobile. He mentored his assistant Paul, also generous and sociable, with his wisdom while juggling other responsibilities. He had an innate sense of what we needed and when we needed it, even while he was driving a bus with 36 tourists who would otherwise be lost. He dealt with the excursion tickets, he dealt with the front desks, he dealt with the lodging facilities, he dealt with our absurd requests, he dealt with weather and deadlines and time changes and the needs of a small army of people so that we could see the spectacle of this stunning region with new eyes and wide smiles. And he took mountains of photos and videos of our group, using all types of techniques and technology, and later made them available to us… capturing our memories for a lifetime. All of these things he did with unshakeable enthusiasm, and with the grace of a multi-multi-talented travel guru. Or maybe ninja? Who would have believed there were so many skills that would be needed to lead such a trip?!

In addition, our companions on the bus were all warm, friendly people on vacation in a beautiful area, with lifetimes of stories to share. We would tour and dine with different couples or groups each day, got to converse and learn and joke with everyone, and wound up creating our own little bus community. Five days was the right amount of bus sightseeing for the three of us, and it was definitely sad to leave. Save some time to explore Vancouver before heading home to soften the blow.

We can highly recommend the Canadian Rockies tour, but truly hope that if you go you are lucky to have Matt as your host.

We just finished our 5 days tour to the Rockies. We had a wonderful time with Discover Canada Tour. Our group consisted of people from the US, Brazil, Australia and Malaysia.

The scenery was awesome. We saw many beautiful lakes and mountains but unfortunately the wildlife was hiding from us. We were on the go most of the time, but had some free time in Banff. The accommodations picked were first class, especially the Blue River log cabins.

Special mention to our guides Rhawnie, Katrin and Nigel. They were great people. Very relaxed, friendly, helpful and entertaining. Nigel drove very carefully and they all looked after us very well.
Some of us and all 3 guides jumped into the freezing glacier lakes. Crazy!!

We had a wonderful time and could not fault Discover Canada Tour. We will return in the future and highly recommend them if you want to see the beautiful Rockies.
