- 749gabrielaz0 contributionsIncredible experience!Incredible experience! I took my first trip alone this year, and I took the tour with Moose travel! I just have to thank you, everything was very organized, from before I left Brazil, where I live, until the end of the experience! I'm very happy with the opportunity and the security it gave me! I will carry the incredible people and landscapes with me forever. Thank you very much! Special thanks to guide Mike too, who made the trip even better! I highly recommend!Written October 2, 2024
- steffsurf0 contributionsBest trip / decision in my whole life (2013) so farThis review might come in very very delayed, but it is still worth it :-) In Juli 2013 I took the Schooner Tour with Moose Travel Network, which was a 20 day tour in the whole east of Canada, and I had the best time of my life! Looking back now more than 10 years it sure was the best decision ever! We started our Tour all the way from Toronto to Kingston, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, Cape Breton, Charlottetown / PEI, Bay of Fundy, Ottowa and then back to Toronto. Our tour guide Caleb showed me what real life is about and what's important. I am lucky to call him a really good friend up to this day and after more than 10 years! I hope to attend a Trip with Moosetravel Network one day with my own family and show them the amazing landscapes, cities, people and cultures of Canada. Canada you have won my heart <3Written April 2, 2024
- stefanrW6887AR0 contributionsBeen a blast!Such an amazing tour throughout the Rockies! Our guide, Keira, was so lovely, warm hearted, caring and passionate to showing us all of her favourite spot and we weren't disappointed by all of them. I just can hugely recommend travelling with Moose! Greetings to all of the Mooses! 🦌Written October 19, 2023
- 231liliac0 contributionsAmazing Tour and best tourguide!I am so glad that I decided to do that tour! I met amazing people on that short trip and we saw so much. Keira, the Tourguide was great- she is funny, lovely and knew a lot of local spots. I can just recommend do a tour with Moose Travel🥰Written October 19, 2023
- Annabel3210 contributionsA great whistle stop tour of the rockies!I had an amazing time on this trip! We managed to see SO MUCH in such a short amount of time! Hunter was amazing making sure we had regular breaks and view stop offs and was a great guide! The overnight stay at rampart creek was a real highlight and a really great way to get to know the group! The only sad point was that we had been given old schedules that said we would be doing more in the last few days and it was a shame not to do that! However, Hunter took us to lots of quirky local spots and we still had an enjoyable last couple of days! Would definitely recommend!Written October 15, 2023
- SparkleMarshmellow0 contributionsTowards the end it was traumatic due to the threats I received. Many Services which were promised were NOT DELEIVERED and I realized that they had 'Misrepresented' them in the Itinerary, thereby deceiving us. Thus I didn't get what I paid for. When I contacted the Person in Charge via email regarding a certain matter he threatened me and falsely accused me which made me fear for my safety in a foreign country. It was evident that he was racially biased, unprofessional, immature and had anger management issues. I was cheated and add to that was traumatized by his threats. This made the tour very unpleasant towards the end. If you are Asian DO NOT book this tour through this company.Written August 16, 2023
- lerchy20150 contributionsMoose Pacific Tour was amazing! Highly recommendMoose Pacific tour was amazing! Really enjoyed the 2 weeks with a smaller group around Whistler, Vancouver Island, Kelowna and the Rockies. Our guide Hunter had a great energy and lots of local tips and experiences in most places we visited. It was awesome meeting so many other solo travellers spread out between 18-late 30's! The itinerary is designed so you can fit so many different activities in and the nature and scenery was always incredible. Though some days were long on the bus we had plenty of snack, toilet and stretch legs stops to break it up and were always able to throw on a good playlist. Mike and Hunter went above and beyond numerous time to help with different unforseen situations, were super flexible and patient. Highly recommend Moose to anyone visiting West Canada!Written August 15, 2023
- andiamo96120 contributionsAbsolutely incredibleI’d definitely recommend Moose to anyone - this tour was incredible and crammed in as much as possible in a short space of time! I met some amazing people from all over the world and had the best time ever on my first solo trip, I absolutely fell in love with Canada. The hostels in Whistler and Jasper are amazing, and the hostel in Banff is also really nice (great breakfast!). The drives never felt too long as we were always stopping at more viewpoints/lakes/waterfalls etc. There are lots of stops to buy food for the day/next day as needed and you can cook yourself at hostels if preferred, though we tended to venture into town to enjoy some of the restaurants and bars. The kayaking in Revelstoke and the Sea to Sky sightseeing flight en route to Whistler were two of my highlights - I’d definitely recommend both! Visiting the stunning blue lakes in Banff was also an unforgettable day, the beauty is just unbelievable. That being said, I do want to highlight some things that could be easily improved. I know it’ll seem like the majority of my review is negative, but I did still have an incredible time - as I said, 5 stars and I would still recommend the company! I just think it’s important to highlight what can be better. - The itinerary hasn’t been updated in over two years. I know this because we were told that the indigenous village we were supposed to visit, as well as the tunnel hiking on the same day, have both been inaccessible for over 2 years due to flooding. This was hugely disappointing as we were looking forward to these visits, and there wasn’t really any appropriate replacement (we just had lunch near a lake instead). We only had 1 free breakfast instead of the 4 listed on the itinerary. We also didn’t get the indigenous dinner in Kelowna as they’re closed on Saturdays… we just went to a chain restaurant instead. Again, really disappointing and with some better planning (e.g., not passing through Kelowna on a Saturday) could have been avoided. The hostels listed are also not all correct - e.g. we only stayed in the HI Banff, not the samesun (this was fine, but good to know in advance!). If the itinerary was accurate, there wouldn’t be any disappointment as people would know what to expect. It doesn’t take long to update a PDF document and the website! - I had two different tour guides for the 2 days in Whistler and the 8 days in the Rockies. They said this isn’t normally what happens, and it wasn’t a big deal, it’s just that the second guide was more of a bus driver than a guide. He didn’t really engage with us at all at first, didn’t take any time to get us talking/introducing ourselves to each other, didn’t point out anything we passed on the road (I know this is difficult when driving and safety always has to come first, but our first guide managed it), didn’t tell us much about the places we visited and overall seemed fairly disinterested. He was a lovely person and towards the end of the tour chatted with us more as we had become more comfortable and talkative with each other, but there definitely wasn’t much of a fun/enthusiastic vibe. The guide for Whistler seemed much happier to be there and really engaged with us throughout. - The bus we had for the Rockies was horrific - it was absolutely boiling hot for parts of the tour through Vancouver and Kelowna, and we had no working AC. As we were a smaller group, they gave us a smaller bus than normal, and we suffered as a result! Even though there weren’t many of us, the forecast clearly showed very hot weather, so they could’ve sent us with the bigger bus and working AC! Being on a bus with huge windows that don’t open and no AC in 35+ degree heat (think: greenhouse) was bordering on unbearable. I don’t want to sound like a Karen, but it really wasn’t safe or enjoyable. I think it’s rare for there to be such a small group for the Rockies - other tours probably didn’t experience this as they had the bigger bus, but the AC does need to be fixed before they take this small bus out again. - At Rampart Creek, our guide cooked a chicken dish for everyone. I’m vegetarian, but I still had to pay $10 into the pot like everyone else even though I bought and cooked my own food and just had a very small amount of the group vegetables. I didn’t want to make a fuss at the time but looking back, it wasn’t really fair. - You have to book activities in Banff yourself by calling the activity centre. I thought this was a bit odd but no big deal, until I checked my phone bill and I’ve accumulated a £40 charge for the call seeing as I have a UK phone number - and yes I was on wifi call, but I was still charged. If moose could consider this in future and book activities on behalf of people, that would be great. - The loss of both the indigenous village visit and the indigenous dinner meant we didn’t visit any sites related to the First Nations people and their culture throughout the 8 days in the Rockies. We visited the cultural centre in Whistler, which was incredible and one of the highlights of my trip, but the vast majority of the tour joined after Whistler so they didn’t get to experience the centre. I think Moose should do more to ensure attendees are educated on the culture, customs and history of the indigenous people - even if it’s just the guide sharing information. - Leaving a beautiful lake in Revelstoke to instead have our ‘picnic’ lunch (that we’d already purchased) at a petrol station with a Starbucks was a very weird choice. - Our guide through the Rockies told us not to buy bottled water as there would be places to refill our bottle, but then failed to mention that on some days every place we visited would have no drinking water. It left us running very low on water sometimes (not good on a very hot bus) so towards the end of the tour we all just ended up buying additional bottled water. That’s all my moaning done - I do think when we’re paying a lot of money some of these things need to be fixed, and I want to make sure Moose is aware of them. Regardless, I had the best time ever and am so glad I did this tour!Written July 27, 2023
- bethanybX4085BM0 contributionsAmazing tour to meet fellow like-minded travellers! This trip was honestly unforgettable. Our tour guide, Dayton was super friendly and made sure everyone was included and having a good time. We got to see the best of Western Canada and I also made some lifelong friends along the way! 10/10Written March 6, 2023
- anna_kulhankova70 contributionsBig west 10 days tripI went for the Big west trip for 10 days with Dayton as our guide / driver. I met great people, saw amazing places, took many many pictures and had lot of fun. I can only recommend traveling with Moose Travel Network. Just be prepared for loud music in the tour bus that couldn’t be your cup of tea. And for the additional activities I highly recommend kayaking with Terry (I hope that I remembered his name correctly), his jokes and delicious granola bars.Written March 5, 2023

- fritziekit20220 contributionsOverall amazing tour! 👏Had a fantastic and awesome trip meeting new friends from different parts of the world. The nature views 😍 were exhilarating, made me speechless in awe 🤩. Our tour guide Bruno was amazing, he tries to accomodate group request activity. I had lots of fun ziplining in Whistler, paddleboarding in skaha lake, kayaking in revelstoke, rafting in jasper, hiking in banff etc.Written June 16, 2022
- camloond0 contributionsGreat tour for solo travelers!Highly recommend for solo travelers! Everyone in our group was solo and by the end we all were close friends. I was worried about joining the tour midway through, but the guides (Lee + Dayton) and other travelers made me feel included. I loved the small bus and tour size (we were around 16 people) because it felt like a group of friends on a road trip where we could make our own decisions about what we wanted to see and do (while also still feeling organized!) My favorite part of the trip was the Banff to Jasper drive along the Icefields Parkway to the overnight in the wilderness hostel, and then the Columbia Icefield the next day. Don't miss those days of the trip if you can! (I think this section is the Athabasca tour--if you only have time for a short trip, that's the one I'd recommend). The scenery was amazing and the night out by the campfire playing guitar and making s'mores was the best! There was a good mix of organized activities and also time to go off on our own and do our own thing. I liked that I didn't have to stay with the tour the whole time and could walk at my own pace/eat where I wanted while also having the choice to join for group dinners and activities when I wanted. The tour group skewed younger, I think ranging from 22-30ish and were all international. Typical hostel dorm rooms for accommodations, so bring a lock for your locker if you plan on bringing anything expensive since sometimes we were mixed in a room with people not on the tour. Nothing super fancy, but everything was clean and nice enough! I had so much fun! Thanks, Moose!Written June 8, 2022
- joelrD4032UD0 contributionsFantasticMy partner and I only had 2 weeks to cram in the whole of BC. This totally ticked all the boxes. We got to see the highlights and some of the smaller, quieter tourist spots. Steph, our driver, was ace and the people travelling with us made it our most memorable trip so far. We went in August so the attractions were busy which is to be expected. The activities included were great and the hikes were incredible, with Steph as a personal tour guide. We got the accommodation package which was worth the money and totally hassle free. I would recommend Moose Bus to anyone, even if it's simply a day trip.Written May 13, 2020

Just finished the 8 day Moose tour of the Rockies. Superb and will probably go down as one of the best holidays I have ever had. Jeremy our guide did a great job and an eclectic group of strangers from all over the world bonded quickly. The enormous fun was only matched by the spectacular scenery. It was great value for money and I would highly recommend it to others. I wish I could do it all over again

I had the best time on this tour. Our guide, Jeremy, lived a long time in this area, so he knew his way around and was very knowledgeable. We saw so many beautiful lakes, waterfalls and so much wildlife, including bears, elks and marmites. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is after some adventure and does not mind sleeping in hostels and sharing the room with other people.

Moose tour was incredible as much as possible in a short space of time. My trip was unforgettable.
There are lots of stops to see the Canadian scenery. It is such excellent value for money when you take into meals, accommodation and activities.
Our tour guide Bruno who himself loves nature was amazing, chill, flexible, always helpful and constantly positive.
I would definitely recommend traveling with Moose Travel Network

My experience was good overall. We saw beautiful places and the people I toured with and the guide made it enjoyable. However, there were some discrepancies in what I paid for and what I got that left me feeling scammed.
Firstly, the tour was supposed to include 4 breakfasts, but we only received two. The reason provided for this shortfall was the change in accommodation from Samesun to Hi Banff. Interestingly, I actually welcomed this change, as I had an unpleasant experience during our stay at Samesun Kelowna, finding it understaffed and dirty.
The most disheartening aspect was the lack of activities on the last day. I was genuinely excited about the Tuckkwiowhum Village, but we didn't do anything on the last day due to a flooding that happened a year ago. There was plenty of time to make alternative arrangements instead of adding fake inclusions to the itinerary.
Attempting to reach the tour organizer was frustrating. He was hard to reach and he ignored my concerns regarding the discrepancies in the itinerary.
This left me with a bitter aftertaste.
You have to sign a waiver on day one that basically says if anything goes wrong, it's all on you. And they also seem to evade accountability for providing what was promised in the tour package.

Hi Blanca,
Thanks for writing this detailed review. We want to directly apologize for the shortcomings on the tour.
While it is an amazing experience, there is a lot that goes into organizing these trips and many moving parts that we take care of. We're taking what you said to heart and will improve on the valid points you make.
We would like to continue this conversation with you personally via email, phone or your booking page here to see what else we can do.
With kind regards,

Awww man. Where do I start with this tour. One of the best things I've done in my life. Jeremy was incredibly fun and approachable and knew the area very well. On the day off in Banff, he gave a range of recommendations. I was lucky with my group as it was a smaller group (14 of us max) and we all bonded very well and now have some new international friends- Jeremy defo helped with us becoming closer. There were a lot of solo travellers on this tour so don't let that put you off. This was the first group tour that was longer than a day and was worth every penny. The days were long but that was fine by me as i enjoy packed days (and we could sleep on the bus). So to Jeremy and the group, I love you all very much and thank you for an incredible experience xx

Sights: Our tour to the Canadian Rockies took us through the major highlights such as 5 national parks: banff, yoho, jasper, glacier and Revelstoke. Major sights include lake Louise, glacier parkway and Columbia Icefield. “Minor” sights that rival the major ones include peto lake, bow lake, pyramid mountain and many others that our trusty and knowledgeable guide Keira took us through. We did short hikes and walks so this would be suitable for people who are somewhat active/fit/mobile. Also, Keira knows the best spots for photos and helps us get them taken efficiently and safely.
Optional tours: I did and recommend the kayaking in Revelstoke (mainly because there is not much else to do, whereas the lake is quite beautiful it cannot be hiked on foot as alternate) and white water rafting with hydra at kicking horse river. A bit more neutral about the glacier walk as the “walk” is not really a walk but like a scenic viewpoint stop for taking photos. Pro: unique opportunity to walk on a glacier and drink melting glacier water. Con: the high cost. Also there is a wonderful free hike that the rest did which they raved about. Note that booking these optional activities through moose is cheaper than booking directly yourself as an independent traveler at the ticket booths; I verified! Also bring cash for the optional tours for banff free day as the booking center charged 3.5% fee for credit card payment.
Accommodations: all in bunk beds at mixed dorms with shared bathrooms in hostels. One night in a rural one with a camping feel and no showers. Room assignment by hostel. Need to make own bed/strip linen at each stop. Towels provided, toiletries not included. The Samesun chain was overall more comfy with breakfast, compared to the hosteling international chain. Took the prepackaged accommodation deal which was very convenient and appear good value.
Food: lunch and some breakfast are mostly self catered with daily stops at grocery stores. Some dining out opportunities in banff and jasper at own cost. guide Keira made an effort to stop at scenic areas for our picnic lunches, which I really enjoyed. Included meals were pretty good and had choices (meat, vegetarian etc).
Transportation: comfortable van with air on/heater. Keira was both guide and driver and she did an excellent job. We happened to be a small group of ~10 So had plenty of room to spread out and get a window seat each. There is no porterage so we have to bring our luggage and load/unload it from the bus at each stop.

Honestly didn’t know what to expect but I created some of my best memories on this tour. Everyone was great and we all went out, ate and drank as one. Terrance, our guide, was amazing. He’s super chilled but also professional and constantly positive. He came out for the drinks and food and I felt like he was one of the gang after a couple days 🍻 Highly recommend and big up Terrance ❤️

No doubt the Caribou was the best week of travelling I've ever had. Pretty much everyone on our tour was travelling solo, and by the end we were all best friends! Keira our tour guide / driver / fount of all knowledge was amazing, anyone who gets her as a guide is really lucky. I'd do it all again tomorrow.

This was my second tour with the Moose bus, my 1st was with a friend 5 years ago. I loved every minute of it, met loads of amazing people and took part in many activities. It is such excellent value for money when you take into account travel, activities, some meals and the high standard of the accommodation. Would highly recommend the optional kayaking and horse riding, Both were really amazing. Well done moose bus!

Hey there,
I'm interested in going and wanted to ask does the bus have a WC on it? Also, I'm from Ontario and we have yet to receive our online vaccination passport. I have the PDFs receipts for my Vaccines, would that be sufficient?
