          Great hike
Great host, Adrian was also the best guide. Not too fast or too slow. Very engaging and knowledgeable about the park. Lots of special views along the path. There’s a lot of hiking and stairs, but to be expected in this terrain.

          Hidden Gem, Great Tour!
This tour is a hidden gem in Vancouver. It was a highlight of our trip. We were staying downtown and after a 15-20 minute drive were were in the forest! Adrienne provided well maintained e-bikes (they also have regular bikes) and led us on a fabulous experience. Literally minutes outside downtown we were riding through old-growth forests and having a fabulous morning. Add to that, the tour leader took photos and videos and air dropped them to us at the end of the tour. Breakaway Adventures is a small business and they will take fabulous care of you - hotel pickup, provides lunch and drop off after the tour.

          Great start for Vancouver!
I had the pleasure to have my first tour in Vancouver with Adrian, just the two of us. He was very attentive with the e-bike, speed etc and was full of great insights about the different areas, beaches, places. I had a great time and would highly recommend this tour as the starting point to Vancouver!

          E-BIKE TOUR A MUST!!!
This was a tour that I would highly recommend to anyone that is visiting Vancouver for the first time or are just getting settled in. Adrian brought me safely around on his e-bike tour that started at the Spanish Banks beach area, along the waterfront to Granville Island public market around to BC place, through downtown to and completely around Stanley Park and back to where we started!! Using the e-bike made the tour so much easier and worth it. It was amazing to see the sights up close. By doing this tour, I was able to double back and visit a few of the attractions he showed me and spend the appropriate amount of time there. His knowledge of the areas were excellent and was also able to help us with other sights that were not on the tour. Again, for anyone visiting Vancouver, I highly suggest starting your trip with this tour!! You will not be disappointed Wayne Guelph, Ontario

          Hike and bike tours
Adrian was amazing!!! We had first booked the hike to Lynn's canyon but had such a great experience we decided to book the bike tour as well. Adrian was very accommodating, picking us up and dropping us off as well. Adrian also took many pictures and sent them to us making it a perfect and memorable trip. We will definitely come back with the whole family and we will book again with Adrian.

Bike tour was perfect way to see Vancouver
My tour isn’t actually listed but I did the Vancouver Waterfront tour on an e-bike and it was GREAT. Adrian was the perfect guide. He knows his city but he doesn’t talk incessantly. He lets you take your time and enjoy the ride. The biking was easy dnd it’s really the best way to see this gorgeous city. BOOK WITH BREAKAWAY.

          Fantastic ride
Adrian was a great host. Lots of information and open to answering all of our questions. He knows his way around, there is no way we would have covered as much ground on our own. We had an awesome day! Thanks again, Rita, Steve and Walter.

Great tour with a great guide.
I had a great experience with Adrian. Adrian was able to access my capabilities quickly, and he even added a bonus section to our tour. Adrian's tour a lot of Vancouver, we started in the beaches of Kitsilano, around False Creek, and around the seawall Stanley Park. We rode 50 kms in four hours on Giant ebikes, the bikes are in great condition, and have a small handlebar pouch to hold your phone and some other items. Adrian is very knowledgeable and spent most of his life in Vancouver. Adrian is more than happy to accommodate any needs and requests to customize your tour. I will definitely recommend his company to anyone that wi care to listen. I don't write reviews and don't usually tip for these excursions. I did both. This excursion was exactly what I was looking for.

Great E-bike tour with Knowledgeable Guide
The e-bike tour was fun and informative. The bikes worked very well and the tour was superb. Adrian our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend this for anyone who can ride a bike. The e-bike is able to make up for anybody’s physical abilities. You can increase the “boost” so it takes little effort to go all through North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Granville Island, and Stanley Park. I think around 20 miles.

          Great Way to Explore Vancouver
Adrian's tour was a wonderful introduction to Vancouver. Getting picked up at our doorstep was very convenient, and things got even better from there. We rode along the waterfront and through several beautiful neighborhoods, stopping along the way to rest and learn more about what we were seeing. We really enjoyed our stop at the Public Market on Granville Island, but were happy to get back on our bikes to explore even more. Adrian leads a very safe tour -- for the most part we rode on bike paths that were segregated from motor vehicles. Highly recommend!

The Adventure Group (TAG) Guided Snow Shoeing Tour
The surrounding beauty and the forest trails near Whistler were astounding. We were lucky to have a private TAG-The Adventure Group, guide Mia, take us through fresh powder looking across at Blackcomb and Garibaldi mountains. Mia took us through old growth forests and clearly described the beautiful trees in that winter wonderland. I only wish the tour had been longer. It was gorgeous and when we got back to the base, Mia made us a mocha coffee to warm us up. This tour is highly recommended. 10 out of 10 points

Adrian was extremely flexible with us. Not all of our party could complete the longer hikes so he found a stopping place and I was able to go passed the 2nd suspension bridge to see some additional gorgeous scenery. We then came back and our group proceeded to see a lot of Vancouver including by the University. Pickup by van from the cruise port, we were able to bring our luggage, go on the tour, and then get dropped off at the train station to return from CA to the US. Adrian also added to our photo collection as he airdropped photos from our tour. Could not ask for a better day and we lucked out on weather. Highly recommended!!

I had the pleasure of hiking through old growth with Kris! He was very knowledgeable about Lynn Canyon and other local hiking spots, set a comfortable pace for all travelers and chose a beautiful route. We even got to swim in a glacier fed body of water (cold.)! Door to door service was a huge bonus for me when deciding to sign up for this tour (as it is quite difficult to get to the bigger parks in BC without a car), and having somebody drive to and from the park saved me a ton of time and stress. This excursion is well worth the $, and a great way to get familiar with the temperate rainforests of BC. Bonus points to Kris for crushing the tour game and being really cool 🤙 L

This is a must-do experience if you are visiting Vancouver! Adrian is very knowledgeable about the area and city. The hike is challenging but well worth the effort. Getting to spend time in the beautiful, green and peaceful park is worth it! From the waterfalls, green pools of water and yummy homemade cookies provided by Adrian, I would highly recommend this experience.

From pick up, Adrian was fantastic with great explanations about the history of the old growth forest, including types of trees, berries, and animals that frequent the forest. The suspension bridge over Lynn's falls was spectacular. The homemade treats at halfway gave us all the energy for the return trip. You couldn't meet a nicer guide that loves what he does. Allow 4- 5 hours for the 1/2 day. Mid range fitness is required as there are a lot of steps. Thank you, Adrian.

Highly recommend this tour. Adrian picked us up at our hotel and took us on this rainforest hike. Beautiful scenery! Crystal clear water, suspension bridge and waterfall…. Saw it all and got great photos. Adrian is very friendly and easy to chat with. He had a great knowledge of the city and the trails we were on. The hike was easy to moderate, with plenty of breaks to catch your breath!!

The hike was amazing with lots of great views and a beautiful forest. Adrian, the guide, is a very kind and great guy.

From pick up to drop off back at the hotel, an amazing trip and hike. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in Vancouver!

At 9km length with some incline and decline the hike might be a little bit exhausting, but definitely doable. We would book a different tour if we happen to visit Vancouver again.
