Andy, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional. As a resident in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Victoria, a city that he clearly loves, through his eyes. It was great meeting some of the local chefs and owners who are so proud to share their love of food with us. The tour takes exactly 2-hours as advertised and is well worth the money. You learn about the history of Victoria while sampling some great food - come hungry. Lots of rest stops along the way. Thank you Andy!

Knowledgeable and friendly host. Tid-bits of mini-history of the city along with some flavourful new things to try!
Tip:…. Don’t eat a large lunch before your tour & Dress appropriately for the weather.
Only one establishment offered food that wasn’t quite up to standard and as friendly but that’s a personal choice
( Perogie bar). Andy the host of the tour was delightful and highly recommend the personal touch that he seems to give to all. Recommend this tour to anyone that hasn’t had it - local or tourist …. You’ll learn something about the building/area and enjoy some new flavours. We went back to 2 of the places the next day because of the quality and friendly reception :). Would love even more places added or in the event of taking the tour again, maybe they could be labelled ie. we took Tour A, next time would be great to hear more stories and learn of new/other vendors on Tour B, etc :)

Hello, Thank you for the excellent review and positive feedback. I am so happy to hear that enjoyed the tour so much and even went back to some of the vendors later on your visit. As I work with 16 different vendors, I can certainly switch up the tastings between one tour and the next. Even my morning and afternoon tours typically have several different vendors as some are only open certain hours of the day ie. breakfast/brunch places. I look forward to having back again. Be sure to let me know when you came before and I can give you a different look. All the best, Andy

This tour with Andy was terrific. It was raining but he made it work by minimizing time spent walking. We got the whole tour in, visited all the places on the itinerary, and had some delicious food and drinks. I’ve been to Victoria several times and this was the most in-depth tour I’ve been on as far as learning about the history of the city. Highly recommend the tour.

This was our second time on Andy's tour, and the first time for our guests. Everyone had a great time - Andy is passionate and knowledgeable about Victoria's history and food & beverage scene. He has many great stories to tell and we were treated to a wide variety of delicious snacks at his chosen stops, accompanied by background info about each venue and its owners. I would highly recommend this tour to both Victoria locals and visitors - there's something for everyone!

This was a Super Way to spend a few hours in Victoria. Andy was exceptional in guiding his tour and the selection of food and drink samples on the tour left us wishing we had more time than just a day trip to go back and enjoy the places we visited. The history provided on the areas we went was very informative. If you have the time I highly recommend you take a tour, even if you’re a local ( I bet you learn something about your beautiful city)
I know in these exceptional times businesses are struggling but this is actually a perfect time to take one of these tours as the group numbers are small, so you feel like you’re on a private tour.

Hello, Thank you for the wonderful review and recommendation. With the current situation, it has been great to have so many locals and people who are familiar with Victoria come on tour and learn some new things and try some new food. I’ve enjoyed the smaller group sizes too, as it is like a private tour most days. Thanks again for the recommendation. Sincerely, Andy

Fabulous time with Andy and seven varied and tasty "small bite" stops. His spirit, humor and knowledge of a city he knows and loves makes this tour a pleasure from the tiny Indonesian spring roll stall, to the elegant French bakery and traditional English pub. Bravo Andy, for memorable anecdotes and delicious "tastes" of a colorful city.

I enjoyed the entire trip. the information about downtown Victoria was very informative and Andy not only being informative was very funny. I enjoyed all of the information. you are walking and standing a lot but I am 60 years old with not great health and yet I was able to keep up. The food was delicious and nice variety. One person in our group was vegan the other was gluten free and they had choices for them at every place. Would highly recommend and next time I go over to the island I am definitely rebooking.

A tour within the first day of getting to a new city is a fabulous way to experience the culture and food. This tour did not disappoint. Andy was a great guide, very personable and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. The samplers were more like serving, We don’t advise a late breakfast then going for the 11:00 tour you will be stuffed! Going on a Friday was great not as busy walking around the city.

I would rate this tour nearly excellent, only holding back on that top rating due to the price, which I thought was just a bit steep. The food stops were all excellent and the the history Andy provided was helpful to understanding where we were. I saw parts of the city that I probably would not have otherwise by going on this tour.

Hello Shelly, Thank you for review and the positive feedback about the tour. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed all of the food stops and history and information along the route. Sorry to hear that you felt the tour price was a bit high. At under $60usd the price is comparatively low when matched with other food tours around the world. The cost of food has gone up substantially over the past two years so it is hard to price it much lower than this. Nonetheless, I am glad you had a good time and I hope the rest of your visit to Victoria went well. Sincerely, Andy
