- sbstrohmeyer00Super fun and so tasty! We decided to do something different on our trip and we opted for a few different tours. This was by far our favorite. What better way to experience the city than by eating and drinking around town with a local? Everything we sampled was delicious, and many of the places were ones I probably would have walked past without a second thought. Absolutely worth spending an afternoon doing this, and I will probably do it again on my next visit.
- sfcaluv2travel00Excellent Delicious Interesting totally worth while. We really enjoyed our 2 hours with Andy. He covered some excellent food stops (meatballs, ensaymadas, Matcha, savory southern biscuits, queens chocolate and more). He also made the tour very interesting and fun with historical fun facts and anecdotes. All in all this was a 5 star tour that I highly recommend.
- wallssonia900Historic food tourCan definitely recommend this tour. Andy was so passionate about the places we visited on the tour. This added a personal touch which was lovely. The numbers were small and this allowed for a more intimate setting. Thoroughly enjoyed everything that we saw and ate! Thank you Andy!
- jengoot00Great experienceFantastic experience! Andy was awesome… so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There’s nothing like local knowledge and because Andy lives in the area we walked around he was able to immerse us in his day to day experience. The food he chose for us was amazing .. so much so that we returned to the French patisserie and the owner remembered us! Great value for money !
- Relax3234541936700Don’t delay - book this tour.An absolutely brilliant tour. Great diverse tastings, interspersed with local knowledge and historical facts, Even though we are vegetarians, that wasn’t a problem for Andy, who is a delightful young man passionate about his local area.
- justinrux00Amazing food tour!Andy was absolutely amazing! He had us eating the best food around the whole city! I will definitely be doing this again when we come back next year!
- leighann62900Excellent and informative food tourAndy is a great host. He takes you to hidden gems throughout Victoria. He is very knowledgeable and each tasting was delicious. A very fun two hours.
- lucy777400A taste of Victoria food tourThis was the best thing we could have done on the first day of our visit. Andy is ver friendly & informative. The stops he picked were excellent. We enjoyed the 2 hours immensly
- Donna Z00Andy is a great tour guideAwesome tour. Andy knows it all and the places he took us were awesome. Highly recommend. Andy is very professional
- 715cd4400Excellent Food TourWould highly recommend. The tastings were awesome and the guide was very knowledgeable and professional. The small tour size of twelve was just the right amount to be able to hear the stories and get around.
- Sveta P00Excellent experienceThanks Andy for showing all these places! You're able to show new things even to people from Victoria! Great job!b
- Lamb5400Great excursionAndy was fun & funny & extremely knowledgeable. Made an enjoyable cohesive group experience of different foods in out-of-the-way spots. Highly recommend (even if your not a ‘foodie’)
- ijmitch202300Fun and Tasty TourAndy took us for a wonderful little walk around Victoria, introducing us to 6 of his favourite spots to eat. Local people, local products, and local stories. We really enjoyed this and plan to go again.
- Gary1620197300AwesomeAwesome tour he is very knowledgeable about the district and even had a couple of good jokes. Highly recommend this tour
- howieweston00Great tourWe were very impressed with the knowledge information that Andy shared. We definitely learned things about Victoria we would of never learned. Well worth the money and time.

We had a great time with Andy as he led us through 8 different locations in Chinatown and the inner harbour of Victoria. We found him to be informative and easy going, often adding interesting and funny stories to add more colour to the tour. His food and restaurant selection was diverse and I found him to be very respectful to each of the owners. If you have a couple of hours...spend it with Andy.

Andy, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional. As a resident in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Victoria, a city that he clearly loves, through his eyes. It was great meeting some of the local chefs and owners who are so proud to share their love of food with us. The tour takes exactly 2-hours as advertised and is well worth the money. You learn about the history of Victoria while sampling some great food - come hungry. Lots of rest stops along the way. Thank you Andy!

This tour is so much more than just a food walking tour. We not only tasted delicious food and drinks, we also received a wealth of history and knowledge from Andy. We walked all over different parts of Victoria seeing so much more than we would have seen ourselves or with any other tour guide in my opinion. Andy has so much passion for what he does and is very humourous and charismatic as well. You will love being in his company! If you do only one tour, I would pick this one in a heartbeat.

The tour was outstanding. Andy was a great guide providing narrative on each stop and surrounding area. The selection of tastes was diverse and very yummy. Unless we went on this tour we may of never of found out about the many hidden gems to eat and drink. La Roux Patisserie dessert was incredible. Wish we had another day or so to go back to this area.
A definite must if you have a couple of hours in Victoria.

Loved the tour, food & guide. Andy is very personable, knowledgeable, and his history background really brought the area to life. We recommend you take the tour early on during your time in Victoria so you have time to revisit some of the places you were introduced to. Thanks Andy.

This tour with Andy was terrific. It was raining but he made it work by minimizing time spent walking. We got the whole tour in, visited all the places on the itinerary, and had some delicious food and drinks. I’ve been to Victoria several times and this was the most in-depth tour I’ve been on as far as learning about the history of the city. Highly recommend the tour.

I can't pick a favourite part because the entire thing was fantastic!!! I used to be a Victoria local with lots of knowledge of the city, but on Andy's tour I learned some things that I never knew about Victoria! Every single stop we were treated to an incredible culinary experience! Andy would have his vendors organized so that each spot we would visit, you walk right in and sit down.
From a COVID-19 perspective I cannot say enough how well it was handled. Andy practices social distancing for his tours and follows the provincial guidelines and all of his vendors are following provincial guidelines also. I felt VERY safe and in good hands. Andy also has hand sanitizer available if you wish to use it at each stop, and many businesses had their own to use upon entry. Only people who are in your personal bubble are allowed to be on the tour.

A tour within the first day of getting to a new city is a fabulous way to experience the culture and food. This tour did not disappoint. Andy was a great guide, very personable and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. The samplers were more like serving, We don’t advise a late breakfast then going for the 11:00 tour you will be stuffed! Going on a Friday was great not as busy walking around the city.

Hi there,
Are you available today? and does this include the food and beverages as it is a guided food tour? Or do we pay extra for that? There will be 3 or 4 of us. Is that enough?
thank you

this includes food along with the history. There are several restaurants on the tour so by the time you’re finish, you’re pretty full. It’s not extra money it’s part of the ticket.

how much time should i plan for from the ferry terminal to your place of departure?
How much time would it take all together from taking a bus from Canada Place in Vancouver, being on the ferry and getting a bus to your location? If i knew then I could plan as to what time I should start out. thanks.
