Richard was a great host on our drive to and while we visited Butchart Gardens in Victoria. He was very knowledgeable about the area and even allowed us to stop for ice cream during our country drive.

Very good tour with interesting information. I have some mobility issues and I especially appreciated that Elizabeth went out of her way to make it easy for me. Great tour guide and vehicle.

It was a fun tour, we had a very informative guide, John, and we enjoyed our time strolling around the countryside and learning interesting facts about Victoria. It was a long drive though, I would prefer walking next time. We saw a lot of the country, but not much of the city, wish we could have stayed in Victoria longer to be able to see it more. Nevertheless, thanks Ev tours and John.

Butchart Gardens were the reason for the trip and were the highlight of the day. Our guide, Elizabeth from EV Tours, walked with us and was very knowledgeable on the history and and the plants in the garden. She also gave us a driving tour through Victoria and and along the coast telling us about the history and culture of the city. We had only a few hours for our visit and Elizabeth made the most of our time. Victoria is a beautiful city with a lot to do and see. I highly recommend a visit there with enough time to fully enjoy. We will return.

Elizabeth was super nice, knowledgeable and fun. We took a beautiful hike through old growth forests with a creek running through it to Hatley Castle and the Japanese gardens there. It was a hot day though. So we cooled off at the 6 Mile Pub, the oldest in Victoria. Next we were off to a beach that had driftwood art along it, really nice. Then we drove down a narrow winding but gorgeous country road to Goldstream Provincial Park. We Hiked through a tunnel and up a rugged path to Niagara Falls. Gorgeous park wonderful waterfalls. Last stop was a resort overlooking the Pacific where we had a wonderful lunch. We saw an Eagle flying and had a hummingbird hang out by the window. You could see Mt Baker and other huge mountains and the pacific from our table. The views were incredible. I highly recommend EV Tour’s and Elizabeth.

After two and a half years we were finally able to take this tour. Elizabeth was a delight to work with in getting us rescheduled time after time due to Covid 19. Elizabeth made a point of coming to meet us as we started our tour. Richard was our guide for the day. He was very accommodating throughout the tour. We had reservations at Butchart Gardens for high tea and he checked to make sure that we were all set for that. We would definitely recommend EV Tours for a full day tour experience.

Wanted to visit Salt Spring Island and there was no question I  wanted Elizabeth to be my guide again. And I wasn't disappointed. Elizabeth had ideas of what to do and see and was flexible to respond to anything I mentioned. Her relaxed and easy manner makes the time fly by. One word sums up the tour: FABULOUS! What can I say that has not been said already? Elizabeth! Wow you were an amazing impromptu tour guide. Last minute we booked a private Victoria BC tour and you pulled out all the bells and whistles. Took us to some of the most amazing and beautiful places in the area. Offered to take our photos and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you for the laughs and fun!

Sensational day trip to Saltspring with Elizabeth - owner of E.V. Tours. She started us downtown and drove us in a comfortable small bus where we could get to know the rest of the group, then the adventures began. We listened to music, took in the Saltspring market, ate excellent food and enjoyed much that Ganges and Fulford had to offer. Definitely worth the trip, and next time, we'll bring our kids.

We had a wonderful time with Chris as our guide. My whole family wished we had more time in Victoria so we could do more tours with Chris. Outside of my mom, the rest of the family has traveled many places around the world and have been on our fair share of day tours and hired private guides. Chris was marvelous and one of the best! He was helpful, kind, knowledgeable, interesting, and worked so well with my mother's mobility issues. When she needed a bathroom stop, he made sure to find a comfortable, clean, and accessible bathroom for my mom. By the end of the first day, he felt like part of our family and we were so happy he was available for an additional day of guiding us around. Our first day went smoothly, despite the rain in the morning. Chris suggested we do something else before the gardens since it was a heavy rain at the time and then we went to the gardens after the rain and walked around a bit before a delicious lunch in the nicely appointed dining room. The owner Elizabeth booked a scooter for my mom to use at Buchart Gardens. My mom loved the gardens and could not have done it without a scooter. This allowed everyone to enjoy the gardens and my mom to have freedom to go at her own pace and not the pace of someone pushing her. If we ever plan to get back to Victoria, we will contact EV Tours first thing for a tour booking and will be requesting Chris. Please keep him as a guide! :-)

We had a wonderful trip with Elizabeth, and really enjoyed her enthusiasm and kindness. She always offered us several choices of things to do and experience, and was happy to accommodate every decision we made. Elizabeth is knowledgeable and caring, and we had a great day with her!

I have had several city tours with this company. Elizabeth, the owner, is always helpful and I have never had a bad guide. We are on a time constraint and the guides do a wonderful job of showing us the highlights of this wonderful city while getting us on our way when it's time to leave. This is a very professional company with very knowledgeable guides no matter what your needs are..

Our driver Chris met us right on time at our hotel. My husband and I were scheduled to take a personalized tour of the Butchart Gardens for the morning and part of the afternoon. Our guide was extremely personable and well informed on all of the plants, flowers, and history of the garden. He answered all of our questions and pointed out the special features of the garden that we might have other-wised missed. Having some time left, we opted to go to the Victoria Butterfly Gardens and visit a winery. Chris totally catered the tour to our liking. I would highly recommend taking such a personalized tour.

I cannot say enough good things about EV Tours, owner Elizabeth, and our tour guide John. From the first conversation by phone to the last moment of our two days, we experienced example after example of incredible customer service, Elizabeth helped me customize two days of private experiences for our group of six. She chose a winery and a beach side cafe for our two lunches, suggested sites of interest, and made all the reservations, John was incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful conversationalist with stories about his experiences with animals, building, local trees and plants, and Vancouver Island history. John went out of his way to personalize our experiences and to assure we saw everything we wanted to see plus so much more. A real highlight of our second day was an unexpected tour of the Island's observatory and telescope as we were heading toward Buchart Gardens. John's personalized service even extended to the small details.... he researched and answered why a certain favorite grocery item of mine seemed to be out of stock everywhere (a processing problem led to a local shortage), The vehicle John drove for us was nearly new and very comfortable. Everything about EV tours is first class, yet affordable. I highly recommend this company and will use them again when I return to the Island.
