I had a great time with our guide April, who's so knowledgeable and entertaining. I took some tours in the past in Alaska, but it was the best for me and I totally recommend this tour to everyone including beginners. We could start from the very basic step on the glacier and never felt too scary because April always pull me and support. It was the very exciting and beautiful tour I've ever had. I totally appreciate for such a wonderful experience in a short stay in Whistler. She also shared really heartful and brave insite during the course, which also gave me a great appreciation to the wildlife.

I wanna come back to this beautiful place again.
Many thanks,

This was such a fantastic tour. Although it was a cloudy day on the mountain, it did not spoil this adventure. Jeremy, my guide, was great. He explained things really well and made it a very enjoyable experience. This was my first ever glacier ascent and first time wearing crampons. A memorable and enjoyable experience. Thanks Jeremy and Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures!

My husband and I went on this morning’s glacier ascent and it was fabulous! Mike, our guide was great, teaching us about mountaineering and explaining carabiners, different mountaineering terms, and belaying. We also enjoyed finding out about Mike’s adventures around Whistler and beyond. It was our first time using crampons but after a few minutes instruction we felt very comfortable on the ice.

The hike was a bit challenging but a must do for anyone with a moderate level of fitness.
A definite must do adventure for visitors to Whistler.

We (family of 5) booked a private hike at 15:00 to give us time to do Sasquatch zip line in the morning and still get up to the top of Whistler Mountain, do a peak-to-peak to Blackcomb and get some lunch before heading up the glacier. We met at 14:40ish and met Maya and Tim who were brilliant guides who dealt wonderfully with a couple of the group very nervous about hiking with crampons across pretty steep ice. They were very flexible with how the group worked and the routes we took and we all got a great experience with some wonderful views that not everybody gets. Back down at base in Whistler just after 6pm. Topped off a great day - thanks so much Maya and Tim.

I had such a great time! My guide was super helpful and informative and the hike was fantastic. The hike was a bit harder than I was expecting but my guide gave me some good tips and we stopped enough that it made the hike easy to complete.

We had a fantastic adventure with Annie. We went up the glacier from the Roundhouse base. It was steeper than we anticipated and somewhat of a challenge, but Annie was encouraging and helpful. I had difficulty adjusting my crampons, and she was very patient, and eventually adjusted and traded them with me. She was very knowledgeable about mountaineering, as well as teaching us about the history of the glaciers and the area. I would recommend this adventure highly. It was the highlight of our time in Whistler.

My husband and two teenage sons did this morning hike. Which lasted for over 2 hours with backcountry guide who was very knowledgeable and interesting. Took gondola to top of mountain and then walked to bottom of glacier. No need for special equipment other than good boots and pole. Got to walk on glacier and round the bottom/sides......really good morning and learnt things they didn’t know and lots of photo opportunities,

You picked the perfect time of year to hike the glacier, just when it is peeking out from under the winter's snow. So glad you enjoyed it!

We booked this last minute, and were not disappointed.
We were worried we didn’t have the right kit but the guys at MSAA reassured us that they could help us out with hiking boots and jacket.
Our guide Mike was BRILLIANT! Super patient (I’m scared of heights) and reassuring. He was very informative. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
Thanks
