About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 340bradu0 contributionsHelping resolve E-bike issue - 5 starsI've known Whistler E-Bike Tours since inception and decided to buy one of their used Spanish E-Bikes about 4 years ago. At that time Rob was the bike mechanic and my bike purchase was in very good condition. About 2 years ago the crystal that runs the E-bike motor died. I asked for help from Ash and Rob took this on. I can share that Rob was the most persistent person trying relentlessly over these 2 years to secure parts from Spanish Manufacturer(the bike manufacturer did not communicate until about 1 month ago). Rob's tenacity paid off last week, as I have a new Crystal control and my E-bike on the road working wonderfully. A huge shout out of gratitude to Rob for staying with this long term headache as it paid off. I highly recommend Whistler E-Bikes as a great tour company, with super people that go beyond in helping you.Written June 24, 2024
- 970cheriz0 contributionsIt’s so beautiful!!Wonderful e-bike tour. Probably the most beautiful trail I’ve ever ridden. The trail is mostly paved and well maintained. Equipment was in outstanding condition. Guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This is not a tour for younger children or people without solid bike riding skills. The e-bikes by nature are much heavy than a manual bike and during the summer season the trails are very crowded. Controlling the e-bike and avoiding pedestrians and other bikers is important. Note those precautions and have a great time. It’s worth every penny.Written October 17, 2023
- 541harjb0 contributionsFun E-bike your.Great experience. Bradyn (?) was excellent tour guide. Stopped at a few cool places that we wouldn’t have explored ourselves. Totally worth it.Written July 3, 2023

- Diana M0 contributionseBike HeavenIt was amazing. We saw beauty we would never have otherwise. An active Bear den, Beaver lodges, Seaplane harbor, I was able to do it all. I just cant believe how invisible the assistance was, it was like I was 25 again. You have to do this, it was awesome. Thank you Ash, we'll be back.Written October 8, 2019
- Joseph H0 contributionsMysteries UnlockedBefore this ride, I had only seen the whole town from the top of the mountain. What a great way to see this beautiful place in all its glory. Don't miss it.Written October 5, 2019
- 1cerveau10 contributionsMixed feelingsFirst experience with them was 1 year ago and we had an amazing tour, super interactive guide. Decided to come back this year and enjoy the scenery again while celebrating my engagement anniversary and quite frankly was very disappointed with the visit. I mean the bikes are awesome and the views are always breathtaking but the owner Ash was obviously intoxicated when we got there, he was still drinking a beer when we were filling out the wavers before the tour. Also it's advertised as a 3 hour tour and that's what we got when we first visited but this time after 1 hour and 40 minutes we already had returned our bikes and were walking back to our car. Basically got about half the advertised time for the price . Still a beautiful tour and great bikes but buyers beware you may or may not get the full experience depending on how your guide is feeling. Also worth mentioning that he was drunk for a 5pm tour on a Monday , not impressedWritten June 16, 2018
- Paul G0 contributionsThe Owner/Guide Didn't Wait!On the way back, the owner/guide made a turn without checking that everyone else made that turn. 3 out of 4 of us didn't! We wound up going miles in the wrong direction. When I criticized him at the end of the ride, he said that it wasn't his job to babysit us. WTF? He's the guide! He also led us through a construction site with a very narrow area between metal pieces and one person fell -- two blocks into the trip. You decide if you want to use this company.Written October 4, 2017
- Ronalynne0 contributionsEasy, Fun Beautiful RideWe had a great 3+ hour ride with Latia today. Loved the bikes and the awesome scenery. I haven't biked for years but the bike did most the work enabling me to enjoy the ride. Bathroom and refreshment stops along the way. We will definitely do this again. Latia was a blast.Written September 13, 2016
- Colleen K0 contributionsIt was the best thing l did on my holiday. Amazing scenery and great funI did it when l was getting over a cold and it was still easy for me. The scenery and the fun, soaring through the spruce and Cyprus is wonderful. It was the highlight of my trip.Written November 13, 2015

Good tour around the valley floor on sturdy ebikes with fat tyres and an enthusiastic guide. Helpful in getting the lie of the land with some nice viewpoits along the way.
Overall it was expensive for what it was and when I queried the $20 additional charge that appeared ($10 per person) when I entered the group size on the booking the guide knew nothing about it and the organiser told me this was a tip. This was not explained on the booking form as evidenced by several on the tour also giving cash tips. When I asked for a refund for this element I was ignored. I object to obscure non-discretionary tipping and I've asked the organiser to rectify this, but from the tone of his reply I have little confidence it will change. The tour should have been billed as $110 per person plus taxes.
Slightly bitter ending to a good afternoons cycling.

My wife and I had an amazing time, the guide was great and very knowledgeable about the local areas. We sat back and watched three black bears and a brown bear at a safe distance. The bikes are high quality, super comfortable and power you up the hills effortlessly. 3hrs for the price was excellent value for the money- the time flew by. We even stopped for a beverage at a cool little pub/cafe

Thank you very, very much Mark. We enjoyed ourselves as well, and really happy to see a Bear Family. Please give us a ring when you’re up next and we’ll have a beverage together and maybe another ride.

Whistler eBikes has a really good thing going on. The eBikes were in excellent condition, instruction was adequate and we practiced in an enclosed area before we started. This is not a ride for younger children or a novice bike rider. The bikes are weighty and the trails are winding. We rode for 2 1/2 hours around Whistler and through some of the most beautiful trails I have ever experienced. The highlight for me was the ride through an area of old growth cedars. This one area made the entire tour worthwhile. In addition to the forest, there were several beautiful stops in parks and near lakes. Our guide, Paddy, did a great job. Friendly, interactive and knowledgable, he clearly loves Whistler. Though it had nothing to do with the tour operator, the downside was the wildfire smoke. We saw none of the beautiful vistas that this area is known for. And, Saturday morning was very crowded on the trails. We will simply have to come back another time and we will be booking with Whistler eBikes again.

We booked this tour for 2 couples with a total of 4 teenagers and hoped for the best. It was AWESOME!!! Everyone said this was the highlight of the trip for them even above ziplining! Pat was our guide and he is such a cool, friendly, funny, and informative guide! We visited all the local lakes and a couple of the local “ secret “ hangouts and rode a long, long way. The ebikes were top notch and so user friendly…even for old people like us. We total recommend this tour and next time in Whistler we will book it again! On a side note my wife lost her sunglasses at the Bear den stop and Pat picked them up on his next tour and had Ram the owner get in touch with us an get them back to her! Seriously amazing service!!! These guys are incredible with the care they give to their customers!

Great introduction to eBikes and sample of trails around Whistler. We went 30km without noticing it. The beer stop half way (or other drinks as you chose) was great opportunity to chat with the rest of the group. Wonderful weather for the trip!
This was an easy tour - not if you want more extreme trail riding - good value.

We had a fantastic trip with Art and were really lucky to have a private tour as no one else had booked. We are a family of four - mum, dad and two adult sons (20 & 22) and we all really enjoyed the experience. Art took us to some really beautiful spots that we’d never have seen if it was just us cycling so it was great having him as a guide. Having the e-bikes was brilliant as it meant that we could travel further and we saw quite a lot in our 2.5 hours. Thoroughly recommend the tour to anyone thinking of booking.

A great way to get familiarised with everything whistler has to offer outside of the village itself so I suggest doing this tour early in your visit. The E bikes are in good condition and easy to ride. The tour is quite fast moving and covers a lot of ground which we appreciated. The business is operated from the tennis club which wasn’t obvious when we were given joining instructions for the tour so the location was a bit hard to find at first.
Reading other reviews I can see there are variations of opinion regarding the quality of information provided by different guides. Our guide was “Ash” who we believe owns the business. “Ash” did an adequate job but we did get the opinion that he was a bit “long in the tooth” and perhaps a bit bored with conducting cycle tours for keen newcomers to Whistler who are hungry for information.

The tour was great! The bikes are nice to ride with plenty of power to make it easy. The tour guide was knowledgeable since he has lived in the area for a while. It was a nice way to see the less touristy side of Whistler. We even saw a bear!

The bike tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Patty was awesome. Patty explained everything we needed to know about riding
e-bikes and all the safety protocols to make our adventure safe. We got to see all the lakes and we’re given a history lesson about Whistler and the surrounding area. We had such a good time, we are now looking at purchasing e-bikes to be able to do some exploring in Vancouver Island

Wonderful way to tour Whistler. Our family of five had a blast...and that is not an easy thing to do with teens! Really enjoyed the afternoon and Ash is a knowledgeable and jovial host who works hard to make sure everyone is enjoying the ride. Awesome Covid safety as well. Bravo. Would definitely recommend!

We are a family of 4 and are interested in your tour. Our daughter is 13yrs old, but is 5' 6'' - is you age limit for height reasons?
Written April 22, 2018
Yes it is for hike reasons. You just need to be 5 feet tall. And our age limit is around 12 years old, but mostly based on the ability. Thank you and happy trails!!
