We booked on to this as complete beginners and did not know what to expect, and we had an absolutely amazing Experience. Everything from training to scenery was simply amazing.

We met our guide Tyler outside the office and he walked us the 2 minutes to the bus for the transfer to 'base camp'. On the bus ride he was very chatty and answering all our questions, easing our newbie concerns, and telling us all about what we were about to experience. His excitement and passion for it really came across and got us hyped up for it. And the experience did not disappoint.

Upon arriving at the cabin we were kitted up and Tyler was very attentive making sure everyone had the right kit and were ready to go.

We headed outside where vehicle operation and safety was explained very clearly and we were taken along an easy trail to learn the basics. Our group was of mixed levels of confidence, yet Tyler kept a close eye on all of us while letting us all individually progress at our own rate.

Once we were all ready we headed up the mountain to experience some of the best memories of my life. The scenery was absolutely stunning. We rode for a long time up the mountain to a frozen lake where we could ride free for a while. Again, he managed to allow those of us more confident to tryout our skills while respecting and aiding the less confident among the group.

This was an absolutely amazing experience I would highly recommend to anyone, and we can not wait to book on to the more advance experiences already.

Kyle was our guide for the tour and he made us feel very comfortable on our first Snowmobile ride. He was very knowledgable about the trail we were on and the Whistler area. He was the perfect guide in every way and we would highly recommend this experience because the ride and the scenery are worth the price tag and if all the guides are as good as Kyle then you will be in good hands.

I don’t ski so when we go on a family ski trip I don’t get to enjoy the fresh air, incredible scenery and trips up the mountain for breath-taking views like they do. This was the second trip where I changed that by going on a Snowmobile tour. This one was even better than the last one at a different ski resort.

My friend and I went straight to the Callahan site as we were coming from Squamish versus the folks from Whistler who took a shuttle bus down.

There were quite a few people for this time slot with about 3 separate groups but luckily, our group of 6 (four drivers with 2 passengers) got to head out first so we were not slowed down by the other groups/drivers.
Our tour guide Tom R. was the perfect guide for us. He explained things clearly and slowly with patience for questions. He taught us in a fresh, enthusiastic manner. I never got the feeling he repeated these instructions day in and day out. Instead, he made us feel like he really wanted us to understand and enjoy our trip. He took the appropriate amount of time to train the new drivers but used the right amount of detail to not bore the experienced driver.
Once the training was complete Tom kept a great pace all the way up the mountain and then an increase in speed as we became more confident on the drive down the mountain.

Tom quickly understood our ability and adjusted speed and trails accordingly throughout the tour. He gave us ample time to get off the sleds and enjoy the scenery and then to take LOTS of photos and videos
During and after the training period, when going around curves and turns, Tom would over-exaggerate his lean so we knew which way to lean. This was so helpful for us novice drivers as sometimes the lean was not as intuitive as I would have thought.

The views and trails were stunning to see. We rode open flat trails, turned up the mountain paths, and had incredible scenic vistas. The trails were groomed but felt fresh and clean.

The sleds were fantastic. They were new models with incredible suspension and features. I only had to borrow a helmet as I had the rest of the gear but if I’d needed goggles, or a snow suit, they had them available.

The tour actually lasted just the right amount of time. Not including the prep and training time, we were driving for probably 1-¾ hr but to be honest, I was having way too much fun to check the time!

I highly recommend Canadian Wilderness Adventures with Tom at the Callahan Cruiser.

You’ll rarely hear me say “let’s not ski today.” But if it means I can hop on a snowmobile to explore the Callaghan Valley, that’s a huge “YES please!” 👏🏻

Keith and I spent half a day with Canadian Wilderness Adventures learning how to ride these incredible machines through various snowy terrain… and even took them on a frozen, snowy lake. 🤩 Our guide Alessandro was an awesome instructor and took us through some amazing trails.

If you’ve never done it, I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something to do in Whistler that’s not skiing. Huge thanks to the Canadian Wilderness Adventures team who hosted us!! Can’t wait to do it again!

It was a wonderful first time on the Snowmobile with Conor was our guide. He was knowledgeable and clear in explaining the fundamentals of riding the snowmobile , and more importantly, put the safety of his clients above all else!

One of the most fun I’ve had for outdoor activities on my travels. Highly recommended

The most incredible experience we had in Whistler. Great for families, we were a party of seven and ended up having our own group experience! Our guide, Nathan, was AMAZING. We was super patient with all of us, gave us some great tips and tricks, and made the most of our experience. I cannot say enough about how incredible Nathan was! He really made the experience for all of us!
We were able to visit the cabin and even had some time in the fresh powder to test out our skills! Highly recommend hand warmers, although the snowmobile handles were self warming. For those who get cold easily definitely bundle up. Our reservation was later in the day so we got to see all the sights while it was still light out and also got to experience when it got darker as we were heading back to the meeting point. I highly recommend that time.

The event was well organized with the company providing documentation before hand for an easy registration.

Our Guide Danny was great, very informative, ensured safety measures followed, consistently checked on people and level of experience to ensure a good time was had by all. He pushed us when he felt comfortable that all participants could do the trail, but made it clear that there is another easier route, so we were never faced with a trail we were not comfortable on.

Great tour and Danny made it very enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience!
I had never been on a snowmobile before. Though certainly excited to try, also a little apprehensive. No need for the latter as Nate, our guide, was fantastic in showing us the 'ropes'.
The conditions weren't fantastic as it's been incredibly mild in Whistler this past while. But that didn't take away from the fun at all.
We (my wife and I - she rode on the back of my machine) we driven in the comfort of a bus from Whistler to the Callaghan then a good 90 minutes on the trails.
And the service provided by Anna and Kate in making our reservation and checking in was also exceptional - so very friendly and helpful.
We wanted the basic introduction as a starting point and now would love to go on one of the meal adventures - steak dinner of breakfast trip up to their cabin!
Thanks to all involved!

Our lovely guide Bob was awesome! Our 3 hour snow mobile tour in the Callaghan Valley was good fun, machines were good quality, well maintained comfortable with hand warmer grips. The scenery was breathtaking and we were lucky to have had recent snow so fantastic photos. Sadly the time on snow was limited to approximately 1 hour and 15mins after bus travel and gear and training. So all over before we knew it. We also thought we would spend more time off a groomed track.
