Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Explorer5675160 contributionsExcellent first Via FerrataSuch an incredible experience! Felt completely safe, Emile was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable on the hike to the start of the climb. Was calming and fun to hang out with! Would definitely recommend for any ability (just need confidence) Thanks again Emile for a great first experience of a Via Ferrata, has encouraged us to do more!Written September 10, 2024
- W1096DYdennisw0 contributionsJust amazing! What an amazing experience! Our tour guide Emile was fantastic - very knowledgeable and he also made sure that everyone was safe and had a great time. Emile also went out of his way to make sure my 9-year old son was fine for the entire trip!Written September 8, 2024
- L6702KTdavidy0 contributionsIt is not for everyoneIf you are not fit for this, you will lose money because there is no refund. They will ask you to stop in the middle of the hike if you are not able to keep up with the group. They made the right call for my wife and I agree with the decision. Just want to let everyone know that you won't get the money back if you don't finish it.Written September 5, 2024
- taniasH3100OK0 contributionsSuper! Our guide was just awesome. There were 3 in our group, one of which was more advanced. Our guide was able to to challenge all of us at our different skill levels. Would book again - if only we didn't live out of province.Written September 5, 2024
- colleensR6376WF0 contributionsIncredible experience! What an amazing day! It was our first time doing via ferrata. Our guide Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable about the landscape and surrounding mountain ranges. He made us feel safe and supported through the entire experience. If you’re thinking about going, just do it!Written September 4, 2024
- 61karanr0 contributionsAmazing Intro to Via Ferrata with an amazing guide (Victor)We have always wanted to get introduced to mountain climbing and the Via Ferrata was a great introductory experience set against the majestic Howe Sound with the mountains in the background. Our guide Victor was amazing throughout - he made sure to explain everything in detail (wearing of the harnesses and how to use the carabiners on the different Via Ferrata cables etc.) and he did it all with a smile and a wonderful personality. I would highly recommend doing the Via Ferrata experience - it's adventurous and you get the great views all in one place :)Written September 2, 2024
- Expedition7972680 contributionsThe Cheskamus path was marvelous and easy to walk. Our tour guide Maya was very informative and helpful, very friendly! As foreigners we were having difficulties to identify the starting spot (Cheakamus lake parking). Also, we were not made aware that this is a 7 km dirt road not really suitable for a smaller rental vehicle. Lastly, we were not aware that for this parking lot a BC Permit needs to be applied for online for the day, so we had to park offsite. Was due to the early morning not a real problem. As costumer service this could have been provided as pre-information.Written August 31, 2024
- U5704VVfrancescag0 contributionsThe best thing to do in WhistlerAmazing experience! there were 7 of us and we were all enthousiastic. The weather was really terrible and in spite of that we had a wonderful time. We were completely alone on the trail and this contributed to the adventure! Our guides, Jeremy and Emil, were fantastic. You definitely should not miss that.Written August 21, 2024
- StellaStyle0 contributionsA must experience especially for the LocalsWhat a blast! We were looking for something adventurous to do in the city and this totally hit the spot! You don’t need any climbing experience. Our guide, Tache, was super knowledgeable and shared alot of fun facts that we weren’t aware of. I would totally recommend doing a tour with him. The entire experience felt safe despite the heart pumping climb. If you’re planning to visit the Sea to Sky Summit, include this in your agenda!Written August 18, 2024
- R2389AOalexf0 contributionsVia Ferrata fanI love a good via ferrata experience and this certainly was one. If you've never tried it and have an adventurous spirit, give it a go. If you have tried others, this stacks up nicely. I've done a couple in the Swiss Alps where they are super popular and I would consider this a K3 (difficult) on the Husler scale which goes to K6. Some of the popular Swiss routes include some really interesting features like cable bridges, twisting ladders, tyrolean traverses, and zip lines. This route doesn't feature stuff like that, at least not yet. It would really be cool if they expanded their operation so that it did. Another difference is that most Swiss routes are typically unguided, but that is just not an option here. Our guide, Jess, was great. She shared some local wisdom and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable in their surroundings. I would highly recommend this adventure.Written August 15, 2024
- felisay20230 contributionsGreat for families and first-timers!This was an amazing adventure! Victoria was our guide for the morning and she was super friendly, welcoming, and supportive. She gave really clear instructions for how to use our gear and stay safe. I was shaking (both from nerves at being so high up and from the exertion), but she was really patient and encouraging. The views from the route are amazing. My family loved this adventure and it was one of the highlights of this vacation. I felt such a sense of accomplishment when we finished. Highly recommend this!Written August 15, 2024
- JohnM191860 contributionsGreat half day intro to crack climbing! My two boys (a tween and teen) and I booked a half day of guided rock climbing in Squamish with MSAA. Our guide Phil was outstanding, and we couldn't have been happier with his expertise, professionalism, guiding and coaching skills. Based on our climbing experience and skill levels, Phil selected one of the many granite crags in the Smoke Bluffs area to do some top-roped crack climbing. Crack climbing is quite different from face climbing or bouldering in indoor gyms, so this was a perfect learning experience for us. Phil was great at selecting routes, teaching and motivating the three of us. We had a blast, and would definitely climb with Phil and MSAA again! (Note: We met at the Squamish Adventure Center on Hwy 99, and Smoke Bluffs is just two minutes away. Very easy to get to! We're staying in Whistler, which is about a 45 minute drive from Squamish.)Written August 13, 2024
- EnricoGarrone1230 contributionsAmazing time on Whistler mountain. We had an amazing time, there a small mix-up with the reservation but they got it sorted out and we were able to do the Via Ferrata in the afternoon. Our guide Devlin was great explaining the safety procedures and helping out ppl n our group that needed extra coaching. I would definitely recommend it and we would like to do it again in the future.Written August 11, 2024
- R871STmp0 contributionsGreat experienceWe were a bit nervous about this but were really happy we did this. Carin, our MSAA guide was helpful and informative. This is a great (safe) way to experience the mountain a bit more than just standing at the top. The tour includes a short hike followed by a climb back up to the lodge. You are clipped in for the climb so are quite secure. The rungs make the climb relatively easy. Great views!Written July 28, 2024
- scottmU394QC0 contributionsDon’t hesitate, this one is a must! What a blast! Incredible views, beautiful day, perfect adventure for anyone. Emil and Nick were amazing guides… friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun and safe for the whole group. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!Written July 22, 2024

Wife and I thought this was the best part of our 16 day trip to British Columbia. We signed up for the group skywalk and Emile provided lot's of information to my wife and I and showed us a lot of great sights. Highly recommended for all!

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for the wonderful review and for taking the time to share your feedback with MSAA. Our priority is excellent client care and we are ecstatic that we met that mark! We are happy that we could be a part of your BC adventure and we will be sure to pass your praises along to Emile.

My son and I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this Sky Walk hike. Our excellent guide was Mike Vert. He was very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. We were lucky enough to be the only two on the hike, which allowed for us to stop here and there to watch and listen to the wildlife and enjoy the scenery. I am super proud of myself and my son for completing the Sky Walk climb. Neither one of us could have done it without Mike!

Now let me start off by saying I didn’t REALLY want to do the “hike” “mountain climb” “exercise” but my friend did so I took one for the team. My weary old body- with bad knees, shoulder, ankles etc from going too hard playing sport in my younger years tenses at the mere thought of climbing anything ( especially after that 1 time Grouse Grind experience) BUT this was definitely worth a little bit of sweat/ body aches. Mike B with a few encouraging words (and dad jokes) patiently awaited us getting our butts into gear and led the way to fantastic views, interesting stories and many fascinating tidbits of fauna/flora information that made our day! I recommend this tour to anyone who wants some good photos to show off and make their mates jealous, fresh air and new skills! It’s not too difficult- just enough to get you breathing a little heavier than usual and working up a healthy sweat but well worth it! Tell Mike B that Simone sent you and that you want his Magical mystery tour 👌🏻

This was my first time in Whistler and I was looking for something fun and exciting but that didn’t require technical climbing skills. From the very beginning the people involved was very eager to help us to put together the right adventure for us. It was only the two of us (my husband and me) lead by Mike Belenger. It was amazing!!
Mike was very professional, skillful, and had a very good conversation. The tour had amazing views, enough adventure but it always felt safe, and long enough. Overall, the tour provided me a good introduction to the Whistler adventures and the confidence to seek more adventurous packages.

We managed to sneak in a late season walk with Mike (Belanger) this week. We had the best time, the weather was excellent and we had Mike and the trail all to ourselves! Thanks for a great time!

My only bad mark is that the Gondola is not part of the package. This should not be seperate as it is mandatory to have.

Thank you for your comment. We have offered the gondola ticket as a package in the past but we found that many people have their own season pass or choose to buy the tickets separately so we have kept them separate for this reason.

Hi there! I am incredibly interested in one of these tours in whistler. I am in town mid october, however I don’t see any available dates. Would you be running during this time ?
Written September 20, 2018
First of all have you been to Whistler before. I assume your question is specially about the Skywalker or is it just a general question. The Skywalker does not require a tour, just a healthy body as there is a bit of walking.
