About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- larissal700 contributionsAdventure of a Lifetime! The day was clear and the air was crisp! Will, our guide, gave our ride instructions, took us up and down the mountain safely. And did we go UP! The view down into the valley was beautiful!!! If you're thinking about taking a snowmobile ride, THIS IS THE ONE! While still on our trip, we went back on last night in Whistler and explored the Vallea Lumina walk, it was so beautiful. Something you definitely want to do as a family or even if you're with friends.Written January 20, 2025

- D9545QLtroys0 contributionsFantastic Family tour the highlight of the trip to Whistler! We had George take us on a fantastic family snowmobile tour of Cougar mountain and Rainbow Mountain. The facility for the children to drive the kids size snow mobiles made the day and put a huge smile on my son’s face. Definitely worth doing and thanks George for a great tour!Written January 9, 2025
- BellaHouston_TX0 contributionsA big disappointment !!!!!We were so looking forward to this family snow mobile tour. However, when we got there we were told that they don’t hqve our reservation. Have them my booking reference number and nothing. So I called the trip adviser after we got back to the hotel and I was told the operator had canceled the tour a day before and supposedly sent out an email ( which I never received ) So we were charged $1,600 dollars dor a trip that got cancelled ??!! I was told we will get a refund but our day pretty much got wasted. We were in Whistler for 3 days and 1 day got ruined thanks to this. We find this very irresponsible from Your part ( Trip Advisor ) to charge for an expensive tour only to have it cancelled at the last minute. Who will be responsible our our time lost ???Written January 3, 2025

Our friendly and knowledgeable guides surprised us with a fresh cookie and hot chocolate and a quick detour for a view into the valley. - rachaell750 contributionsHighly recommend! Amazing snowmobile tour!WOW, what an amazing snowmobiling experience. The views were incredible, the terrain was great fun, the machines were in great condition and our guide George was amazing! He made sure that we had the best time out on the trails but could see he was keeping an eye out for everyone the whole time! Having George as our guide really made the tour for us!Written December 30, 2024
- gunko_irina0 contributionsEpic ride, best guide ever!Snowmobile adventure in the snowy wilderness? Oh yeah, it’s as epic as it sounds. Got this as a birthday gift, and honestly, my expectations were low. But WOW—this was a blast! The views? Insane. The mountains? Totally majestic. Escaping from the grey vibes of Raincouver to a sunny snow-dreamland? 10/10 would recommend. Snow-covered trees, fresh trails, and pure aesthetic joy. Heads up though: this stuff is dangerously fun. Like, how have I gone this long without trying snowmobiling? And why didn’t anyone tell me it’s this awesome? Pretty sure I’ll be asking Santa for a snowmobile next year. (Husband, if you’re reading this, take notes!) IIt’s fast, it’s loud, and it handles corners like a drunk hippo—by which I mean it’s hilariously awesome. !!!Huge props to our guide, who was a total legend. He’s British (sorry, I didn’t catch the name), and apparently, he came to BC for “four months”... three years ago. Guess he fell in love with this place, and honestly, same. He was super knowledgeable, ridiculously kind, and so passionate about snowmobiles. His enthusiasm was so contagious! He showed us jaw-dropping spots, answered all our questions, gave us a crash course in snowmobiles AND avalanche safety. Absolute legend!!! Honestly, this was one of the best things I’ve ever done. If you’re in Whistler, DO IT. You’ll thank me later!Written December 27, 2024

What a wonderful experience. The scenery along with the lights in the middle of the night was just magical. Even though this was one of the cheapest trips we did in Whistler, remains as one of the greatest.
The bus driver was very punctual at pick up and the whole staff very professional.
I'm giving 4 stars because in some parts of the path I think they could have set more illumination. Also because the information about the pick up was a little confusing, we thought we were late because the text they sent us didn't explain clearly at what time we should be on the pick up point.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We appreciate your feedback regarding the illumination along some parts of the path. We'll certainly take this into consideration for future improvements to enhance the overall experience. We're delighted that despite these minor issues, your trip with us remains one of the greatest, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another memorable adventure.

I’m too lazy to write reviews but have to write a rave review for Lumina Park. I’ve traveled the world and never experienced something so magical, surreal, and well presented. I give kudos to the park for their quality sound system holographic displays and originality. I think it’s one of Whistlers best kept secrets that deserves an award. Don’t miss the skiing but don’t miss this park either you won’t regret it! Oh dress warm but go after sundown it makes the special effects more magical.

Thanks for the fantastic review Arthur! We are over the moon that you found Vallea Lumina an amazing experience. Be sure to dress warm as when the sun goes down it gets quite chilly in the mountains!

Very impressive, not at all what we were expecting. It was a magical experience.
A very sophisticated light display. It was more of an interactive experience, It was so well done in the form of story telling, sound, words and song. Our bus was full of international travelers of all ages and everyone was thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this experience. Spectacular

I would highly recommend this tour to anybody! A ticket also includes a short shuttle bus ride from the centre of Whistler. The forest has been lit up through a one way walk and it was incredibly beautiful. The projected stories were amazing. One for all ages!

It was so beautiful, since it’s night time I don’t suggest you take pictures because they won’t really show, I recommend that you go on a clear night because then you will be able to see the stars though the trees. All the music and lights make it such a magical experience. (There is one part, if you read acotar, it’s Kina what I imagine star fall would look like.) I 100% recommend that you do this and that you take your time to admire all the lights and music

What an amazing take on Vallea Lumina! We are so happy to hear that you had a great time and even found it to remind you of Star Fall from ACOTAR (we are all big fans).

Wonderful experience! We came across this experience before arriving in Canada. Intrigued by this, we booked tickets from Italy for August. What can I say, the experience did not disappoint us. You can get to the car park easily (there is also a shuttle service for those without a car). From here you access the structure where you are immediately welcomed by a magical atmosphere. In the check-in area you can sit around the fire and roast marshmallows (apart from the ticket). The path to follow is easy and accessible to anyone, illuminated and well structured. The duration of the experience is subjective, indicatively the entrance guides report about 45 minutes, but there is no time limit. We enjoyed every moment and it took us an hour and a half, but we often stopped to admire every detail and enjoy the atmosphere. Also recommended for children, magical.

My husband and I were looking for an evening activity and decided to give the Vallea Iumina show a try. The trail and lighting and sound media effects are quite magical and we felt it was definitely worth a visit. The walk takes about 40 minutes.

Eerily beautiful... sound & lighting & holograms par excellent! A full moon (a real one) even added to the magic, just above the glorious forest. They do a really fine job. Music is strangely folky with a mix of electric & acoustic.

We're glad you enjoyed the Lumina experience! It can be extra magical for sure when mother nature cooperates and the moon is shining bright! Our AV team works very hard to ensure the best quality sound and lighting. Hope to see you again soon.

A bit unsure about this before it began, I loved it. The creativity of the team who have put the multimedia experience together is amazing. It’s the way the lights and music and sounds and projections work together which makes this so special. I recommend just immersing yourself in it. If with a group, go through the walk as if alone, so you can get absorbed in the music and lights.

BEEARE this is basically a moderate night hike, very steep, low visibility, uneven surfaces. I found it very dangerous. Would not recommend to anyone who has any mobility issues, vision issues or any issues requiring possible medical intervention. I didn’t enjoy it as I was watching where I was walking instead of the multimedia.

Thank you for the feedback of our light show Vallea Lumina. I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to enjoy the hike due to the conditions of our trails. Unfortunately due to being a night time show, the lighting is dimmed to be able to enjoy the lighting effects and story throughout. However, I have passed on your feedback to our team who will look at the condition of the trail to ensure it is as smooth as possible for our future guests. Our summer hike with its steeper terrain and stairs is unfortunately not as suitable for those with mobility issues as you have mentioned. However, our winter trail is a much more relaxed and easier trail. I would like to invite you back to experience our winter trail which opens at the end of September, so that you can enjoy the story without the moderate hike. Please email myself at caitlin.deuchars@tagwhistler.com and I can book you in complimentary whenever it would suit you.
