Three Sisters Sea Kayaking Day Tour
From US$106.13
Overview
Nova Scotia’s Cape Chignecto Provincial Park is famous for its towering cliffs, rugged coastline, and the Three Sisters—three towering stone spires located just offshore. Experience Canada’s scenic wilderness on this sea kayaking tour, which allows you to see the Three Sisters up close, learn about the park’s geological history from your guide, and experience one of the world’s most drastic tide changes. Partway through, refuel with a picnic lunch on the beach.
What to Expect
Your tour begins at the office of NovaShores Adventures in Advocate Harbor, where you collect your life jacket, sprayskirt, and dry bags. From there, drive independently to Cape Chignecto Park, where you meet your guide on the beach of Spicer’s Cove.

After some safety instructions from your guide, board your double kayak and practice steering in the water. Paddle along the coastline while your guide provides background on the geology, tides, ecology, and history of the park.

See the Three Sisters rock formations, and then stop for a picnic on the beach, enjoying time to explore independently. Food options include salad, bread, fruit, and muffins.

Observe the dramatic tide change as you hop back in your kayak and return to Spicer’s Cove. Leave the gear with your guide, and your tour is complete.
