We recently had a great, fun afternoon touring wineries in Nova Scotia with amazing tour guide Collen. Colleen was extremely personable, engaging and funny. She also was exceptionally knowledgeable about both the area and the wines it produces. If you have a chance to go on a wine tour out of Halifax with Colleen of Grape Escapes, do so. It is sure to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable parts of your entire trip.

I was intensely impressed with the knowledge of our tour guide / bus driver, Colleen. Her knowledge of the history of the areas, wine country’s attributes, local lore, and experiences were top notch! I learned more than I ever expected and am thankful for having landed on this cruise excursion out of Halifax, NS, Canada through Holland America Line.

This was our second year with this wine tour company and as we expected it didn’t disappoint. Our driver Steve was excellent in showing and speaking of Halifax history and the surrounding regions. He was very informed about each winery we were visiting and the wines we were tasting. The bus ride was comfortable with air conditioning and comfortable seating. Have nothing but good things to say about this tour. First class all the way!

Colleen was an excellent host on my wine tour of the Annapolis Valley. She was knowledgeable, funny, and was a great host explaining the history and vinticulture of the Grand Pre and Gaspereau Valleys. I would highly recommend this tour and Colleen!

Great afternoon-excellent guide. We did a the winery stop. The settings and ratings at all the were very good. The tour guide Colleen is fully immersed in the local food and wine scene and really enhances the whole thing. Definitely recommend!

It was ALL great! Our guide, Colleen, was extra knowledgeable and alot of fun. Although it was a rainy day(week), the tour wss stilll a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend everyone take a tour with Grape Escapes. Beautiful scenery and a great way to spend a day in Nova Scotia. We will be back.

Our Evening Escape wine tour was great! Easy to book, work out details with the GE team, modify things when needed, easily share costs with the group of friends through the booking directly and most of all so much fun! Colleen was the tour leader and driver and was wonderful- providing all the info we needed and accommodating the group. We had a perfect fall afternoon and evening and will do it again before too long. The wineries were welcoming and interesting as always and a treat to sample the NS wines and ciders. Thanks GE!

What a fabulous tour, with our great tour guide Colleen. She was very informative, fun and played super tunes in the van, in between historical commentary. Our group was a lot of fun engaging in conversation while enjoying the wine tasting. The tour day itself was terrific, visiting 3 superb wineries. My favorite was Benjamin Bridge. Lunch in Wolfville, delicious. A must do when in Halifax.
