Excellent tour! We were visiting from out of province -- family of 5 with 3 kids in their 20's-and this tour was a great way to see some spots away from Halifax. Paul is a proud ambassador of Nova Scotia and is an excellent tour guide: professional, fun and personable. We will definitely do another of his tours on return visits to NS! Enjoyed lunch at a great local restaurant The Knot Pub in Lunenburg that was recommended by our Haligonian friends.

Definitely recommend! Had a fantastic time with Paul on his half-day South Shore guided tour. We actually enjoyed a private tour in his very comfortable car. Paul made us feel like VIPs. He took us around the best spots and guided us through the history of the region: From the Halifax explosion, to the SwissAir crash and Titanic. I discovered more than I ever thought I would. Paul also knows all the good spots for picture-taking! We had a great time! And if you also need an airport shuttle service, look no further. He does it too! Definitely looking forward to go back to Halifax and do another guided tour with Paul. He also had lots of suggestions on things to do around Halifax and some of the city history too. Thank you again, Paul!

This was an awesome tour and covered so much shorefront (and ground) over the course of the half day. It is absolutely worth it, and Paul is a terrific and very knowledgeable and professional guide. We did the tour on Labor Day and saw everything I wanted to see - Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, Chester, Peggy's Cove, the towns and shore along the way, and the Swiss Air memorial. Near Peggy's Cove, there was a stop at a lobster pound, Ryer & Ryer, for a lobster "show and tell" to see various sizes and colors of lobsters which was unexpected but a nice surprise. Paul was great in navigating and leaving plenty of time for photos and food along the way for the "full" Nova Scotia shore experience. I have so many photos I'm still sorting through at this point.
The shuttle is very spacious and nicely outfitted with a giant tablet screen that Paul uses to show clips and videos for the various sites, including some mini history "lessons". Lots of extra things like hand sanitizer, wipes and extra masks as well given the current times.
Lastly, while not advertised here, Paul also has cool stories of being tour guide to a number of celebrities during their Nova Scotia visits. They chose well as his tour is a real highlight.

The tour couldn`t have been better. Paul, the tour guide, was very knowledge about the local history of Halifax, and took us to some unplanned stops like this roadside lobster shop, which was definitely a treat. The tour allowed more than enough time to explore Peggy`s Cove and Lunenberg, with a good lunch break in Lunenberg for some lobster rolls. After the tour was done, Paul went out if his way to show me couple spots I wanted to go in Cole Harbour, just amazing!

An informative small group tour with Paul as an expert guide. Paul will pick you up from your hotel, drive you the most scenic routes, and provide local insight and history. On our tour he beat the big bus tours to Peggy’s Cove so that our group of six were the only ones there (almost) and despite the fog, made it a great day out. If you only have one day travelling outside of Halifax, I’d really recommend this tour!

I took this tour because I didn't want to drive. I am glad I did because I would not have seen as much if I had gone on my own. There were 6 of us in a 15 seat van so there was lots of room. Paul goes to Lunenburg first, opposite of other tours. He has a very interesting video on the 1917 Halifax explosion to show on the 45 minute drive to Lunenburg so the time passes quickly. Lots of time in each stop and lots of good information. He is a great tour host and takes note of what each person is interested in. Because he does the trip in reverse to other tours, crowds tend to be less.
This is a small operation dedicated to personal service. Don't panic if you don't hear back right away. He generally returns phone calls and emails in the evening so that his tours get his full attention during the day.

Had an excellent time seeing areas like Peggy Cove and Lundenburg from a local. Paul provided our group excellent pieces into the history of Halifax. He was engaging and also made excellent recommendations on things to see and do. His timing and arrival at the locations was also a bonus as we practically best the other tour groups to these locations before it became too crowded.

We were a party of 2 and had a really good time with Paul. He was flexible, organized, accommodating and had fun stories to share. The drive was comfortable, there were videos to watch and learn NS history. We recommend this tour as it a great way seeing the south shore without much self planning!

We took 2 tours with Paul - South Shore and the Annapolis Valley. We enjoyed both days with Paul and he gave us some wonderful history and toured us to some beautiful spots. He also had some excellent suggestions for lunch. We would definitely book with Paul again. Theses tours allowed us to see much more of Nova Scotia than we expected during our relatively short time there. We also arranged for Paul to take us to the airport on the day we left - a very comfortable trip in his Lincoln.
Paul was very punctual, informative and easy to spend the day with. While billed as a half day we were gone for 7 hours each day so we packed a lot of things in during the tours

Wonderful tour, highly recommend! Great way to see a lot of sites over half a day, learn about Nova Scotia history and culture, and relax while someone else does all the driving! The tour agenda covers a nice mix: historical sites, picturesque towns, beautiful spots along the coast. Paul is a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable on the area and the history, and he clearly cares about providing great service and experience for tour goers. This was one of the highlights of our vacation in Nova Scotia, a must do!
