- 411sherib0 contributionsSpooky fun! This walk was awesome! The tour guide Chip was fantastic! The way the stories were told made them extra spooky! Really enjoyed it!Written September 7, 2024
- Katie_Mc04720 contributionsAmazing tour , friendly guideWould like to start by praising our tour guide Lauren, she was a fantastic story teller and absolutely made the experience. This tour is a great way to experience a spooky telling of the forts history and can highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the supernatural, believer or not. As for the photo (right hand window) , wether it was just a shadow or some kind of apparition I’m not sure…Written September 1, 2024
- kimberlyt1060 contributionsAbsolute Must Do!!If you are looking for something super fun to do in the evening, I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Savannah was exceptional!!! She was very knowledgeable of the events she spoke about and included her own stories/experiences which made the evening even spookier! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Fort Henry was creepy in the dark but the stories and stops added to the experience. Thank you Savannah for a great tour!!Written August 24, 2024
- nicoleeI9051VZ0 contributionsGreat family experienceAllison was our tour guide for the night. She was amazing and you could tell she really loved her job and telling all the ghost stories. We went as a family with our 14 and 12 year old. All of us were so immersed in all the stories and loved sightseeing in the process. This was such an incredible and unique experience that made us fall in love with Kingston. It was a 2km walk so running shoes are good to wear. Also gets cooler in the evening so bring a sweater or jacket. Water bottle is nice to have and can use washrooms at The Original Haunted Walk of Kingston at 200 Ontario street. Would definitely come again! Went for gelato at Mio which was very close to there at 178 Ontario street which. Yummy! Perfect end to a perfect night.Written August 20, 2024
- LauraRoi0 contributionsQueen's ghostsReally well done! Our guide was a Queen's grad, and made the tour really entertaining. Would recommend for Queen's grads and ghost enthusiasts alike.Written August 17, 2024
- Michaela T0 contributionsAmazing tour with TizMy boyfriend and I had the pleasure of having Tiz as our tour guide! The way they told the spooky stories was captivating and kept us on the edge of our seats all night! We were lucky enough to be the only people on the last tour of the night (sorry Tiz for making you take us alone so late at night!!) they made the whole experience as comfortable as you possibly could be in a haunted location and it was definitely an experience to remember! We look forward to doing more ghost tours in Kingston and hopefully we have the same guide!Written August 16, 2024
- Freedom446060605310 contributionsGreat value for your money! This nighttime tour of the Fort is amazing, as there are hardly any people there. Our tour guide was Chip and they were an amazing story teller. Chip went beyond the memorized script to tell the stories in a very creepy way where my whole family were feeling chills. The fort is so different in the evening and that also lends an air of eeriness to the walk. You get to go into the tunnels and some of the rooms known to paranormal investigators to be haunted by spirits who don’t seem to leave. It’s a great value for 90 mins for your whole Family! I highly recommend, even if you’re not into ghosts and the paranormal it’s cool to See the fort like that at night. We’ve done at least 9 of these tours by this company and this one (which I’ve done twice) is my favourite.Written August 14, 2024
- Angelina M0 contributionsA perfect mix of intrigue, history, and creepiness!Really enjoyed our ghost tour of Fort Henry! A perfect mix of intrigue, history, and creepiness. Got some great photos...and while we didn't capture any ghosts in our pictures, we got an awesome shot of our tour guide, Victoria, who did an awesome job, by the way!Written August 10, 2024
- taniabE3991JW0 contributionsHighly recommend! Fantastic story telling.Highly recommend! Our guide Chip ( I believe that was her name ) was great. She kept us interested with her knowledge, great story telling skills and theatrics. Our fav spot was the underground tunnels. We also enjoyed the stories surrounding the classroom & bakery. Definitely check it out! We went in July, lots of mosquitos. However, they did supply bug spray.Written July 5, 2024
- 471jacquies0 contributionsVery Interesting and Informative!!A little SPOOKY! Very informative!! Fascinating to learn the history while walking and looking at all the architectural elements of these sites. Wear comfy footwear!! Thank You to our Guide, she was GREAT!!Written July 5, 2024
- Simpcy0 contributionsA fun and eerie evening at Fort HenryThis tour was a birthday experience for our 9 year old grandson. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience, listening attentively to all the stories. He was particularly taken by the stories of the children and the feelings involved. Victoria was a most amazing guide articulating the eerie tales and allowing us to take in all the sights and sensations. Her story telling was captivating and had everyone on the tour hang on every word. We left with an appreciation of the hauntings of Fort Henry and a little bit of fright.Written June 21, 2024
- Dorito G0 contributionsSpookyMy son and I enjoyed the tour!! Fun evening activity. Tour guide was great , you can tell she enjoys doing it. The tunnels under the fort were the best part.Written June 13, 2024

- 4KiaraS0 contributionsNot my first choiceI’ve done all three haunted walks in Kingston and, while this one is okay, it’s my least favourite. The Fort Henry walk is the best, the Original Kingston Haunted Walk is second best, and this one would be my last choice. The stories were meh. It was partially because our tour guide was newer and recited a memorized script rather than having it sound like a story telling experience. There was more walking than talking and our guide was not interactive/conversational at all. I felt it was overpriced for what it was. Do the Fort Henry tour instead.Written November 11, 2023

We had a tour led by the the amazing and inquisitive Tamara! We had a great time walking around and exploring all of the creepy parts of Kingston, our tour guide gave us lots of time to take pictures and ask many questions. They had so many creepy stories to tell at each stop, and even included a few extra for our curious minds! We highly recommend booking a tour with Kingston Haunted Walks, we’ll definitely be checking out the Fort Henry tour on our next visit!

My husband and I usually take a ghost tour whenever we visit a city. This is my first time out of the country, I’m from the US, and this tour was a lot of fun. Elaine was easy to follow (on foot and when listening 😉) and made the stories very enjoyable to intriguing. She had a lot of personality when discussing the stories with the group (which was a good size). The walk is great to also view the city, so I really like the layout they have chosen. I highly recommend this tour and especially Elaine.

Rebecca did a great job of providing some scary stories with the historical context. The walk was varied and covered a lot of the waterfront area. Kingston has some very beautiful old architecture to take in. I recommend it.

Tamara our guide told us in understandable English all the ancient stories of the city, which has many ghosts and strange presences. In heavy rain we had a lot of fun, especially in the flooded alley. An experience to be repeated in other cities too. Thank you Tamara, you will remain my favorite ghost expert.

An interesting and scary tour! My daughter and I would definitely recommend it as our tour guide (Tara - my apologies if I have her name wrong) was knowledgeable and shared some scary stories on our walk around Kingston. The cold and rainy weather just added to the theme of the tour! lol

We got very lucky and had our guide (Rebecca) almost to ourselves: one other couple joined us on the walk.
The meeting location is easy to locate; can't speak to parking, as we walked about 1km to get there. Rebecca was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the area and the stories she shared. One of the grisliest tales took place just behind the hotel where we stayed: it definitely made the stay a little eerier! The tour lasted about 1.5 hours and covered maybe 20 blocks (you don't walk far without stopping for another vignette).
Overall, the vibe was eerie, not scary or gross: it should be considered quite family-friendly. We'll sign up for the Queens University tour next time we're in town!

Our tour date was at 8pm on Sunday, May 26th. Our guide was great! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We enjoyed the way in which she interacted comfortably with our group and shared her personal opinions about the stories and the architecture of the neighbourhoods we walked through. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

We have done several other haunted walks and really enjoyed them. We enjoyed this as a nice walk through a historic neighborhood but it was pretty disappointing on the “haunted” part. There were only about 3 stories that involved anything even remotely spooky, but the guide was at least able to give us some interesting history about some of the beautiful homes. If you don’t really care so much about the “haunted” part, you’ll probably enjoy this but don’t go looking for chills up and down your spine.

We had a very fun time, the stories were interesting and our guide Allison's delivery was on point. She was also friendly and knowledgeable. The haunted walk was the deciding factor in making Kingston a stop on our trip over another southern city and I am pleased with my decision!
Keep up the good work!

We were incredibly lucky to have a small group for this tour which allowed us a lot of time to ask questions. Rebecca was our guide and she was entertaining, knowledgeable and kept us all on our toes. I took a few photos when on the tour, when looking at a few of these pictures once we got home, we were intrigued by many different figures and shadows we could see. All and all we had an amazing time.
