Get up close to Niagara Falls on this boat tour that cruises from the Canadian side of the border. You’ll feel the power of the massive waterfalls as you motor past American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls—which you can view from either the interior or exterior decks (with free ponchos provided). Enjoy the trip at your convenience with frequent departures, morning through evening.

What to Expect

Meet for this Niagara Falls boat tour on Niagara Parkway.

Once you board the 700-passenger catamaran with upper and lower decks, choose to stay dry inside and view the falls from the glass windows, or to head to the outdoor decks to get splashed by the crashing falls. A poncho is provided to minimize getting wet. Snacks and drinks are available during the cruise.

Your boat first makes its way through the Niagara Gorge as it heads toward the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. For most, the highlight is getting close enough to feel the mist and hear the roar of the powerful Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

Your boat tour ends back at the same spot where it began, where you can purchase souvenirs.

The reason for visiting this place is of course seeing the falls

You get plenty if you just go for a Hornblower cruise. No need for any fancy presentation more than you experience from one of their boats. When finished, take a walk for free back to the falls and have a look from the top:)

Well worth doing - didn’t get as wet as I thought we would

We all had a great time on the Hornblower. It only takes about 30 minutes overall. You’re issued with a plastic Mac so you don’t get too wet. It’s impresive getting so close to the falls but feels totally safe.

A must experience

You got to try it. We caught the last boat. Dawned our red plastic rain coats and headed out. Great experience. So much water coming into the upper deck we headed below. A fun time and great perspective.

what a hoot!

I really enjoyed this ride. You get to see the Falls up close and it is almost like a carnival ride once you get close. The wind and the mist and the water are amazing. Warning, you will get really wet if you choose to...More

You won't have any difficulty; there is a visitor center at Table Rock; it's just before that area, and is really visible. Ask anybody, and all will be revealed.

It would be hard to find a parking spot close to boat. Your hotel is only a 20 minute walk (all downhill on the way), or you could park in one of the parking lots along Victoria Ave and get there in 10 mins. All uphill back... More
