      Great fun!
We booked this through groupon, which was an easy process. The tour was fab, we were collected from the stop as advised by the company. Our driver was Joey, great guy with a great sense of humour! We visited 4 different establishments; Vieni, Flat Rock, Puddicombe & Forty Creek. All very different with unique attributes at each. Would defo recommend if you’re staying in the area!

      Terrible company and business
Terrible company and experience - tour was cancelled (received txy and email) 2 days before the tour date (was scheduled for Apr 28). Called number of times trying to reschedule or get some alternatives, plus email them - NO RESPONSE whatsoever! What a terrible company and business!

Ride with Joe!! Best tour guide ever!
We had an amazing day for my sister's Bachelorette. So much fun, so many new memories! Konzelmann Winery was by far our favourite! But the service provided by our tour guide Joe was outstanding! Who knew there was so much we didn't know about wine!! Would definitely recommend!

Fun day at the wineries and brewery
We had a great day with Joe from Niagra Fun tours. We really enjoyed the wineries and brewery we visited! The brewery meal was great, I’d suggest two people could split one of their sandwiches. The beer experience was different than a winery and really enjoyed the experience. Overall the tour was great value for money!

      Extremely bad
DO NOT EVER BOOK with this Company. We booked this tour in January for May 14, 2022 . Paid & received confirmation. On May 9 got another confirmation. Saturday morning we showed up at the meeting place. We had to listen to the driver speech and then he informed us that we are not on his list. All together there was 10 people "not on the list" at this meeting spot (there was 3 meeting places) It was strange that the driver showed us only 1 of the few pages with names and refused to show the rest of the pages. We are wondering how could Larry know at which meeting place will we show up. We live in the area, but there was 4 people from Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario. They came earlier, stayed in hotel & did not make the list. We were all so disappointed, that we decided to go to the office and make a complain. Unfortunately we could not find the office although we checked 2 different locations. After we came home we called Larry and wanted to share our experience with him. It took many attempts to reach him. He did not really want to listen to the complains, but was willing to reschedule the tour & promised to send confirmation. The confirmation NEVER CAME, so we called Larry 17 times in 10 days, he is UNREACHABLE. He doesn't pick up, he doesn't call back... At this point, we HOPE and PRAY to get our money BACK.

      the worst experience
Do NOT purchase this tour thinking it would be a fun experience. Our driver was completely hostile yelling at us to not speak…even going far enough to discriminate against a disabled person stating that they were taking too long to get off the bus due to their medical condition. Not only did our driver completely ruin the experience, for some who booked this for a bachelorette once in a lifetime journey, but he also made every member of the bus feel uncomfortable and threatened by telling them he would leave them of the side of the street in the middle of no where. I have never written a review, but this horrible experience prompted me to. Overall, avoid this tour at all cost.

      Lacking professionalism
The bus was 30 minutes late followed by severely reckless driving. I felt extremely unsafe in the hands of joe and was concerned about my well being. The group was concerned about his lack of covid protocols. (the whole bus was extremely taken back by his attitude) I would not recommend this tour specifically because of joes lack of professionalism. He was very sweet at first and turned sour quickly!! Save your money!!!!

      Would not recommend.
Similar to recent posts. We received an email a couple days before the tour stating toir group would be 12-16 people. We were all taken back see a bus full of people (about 40). Wine tastings were poor with no social distancing with the same bottle clinking glasses that people had just drank from. When mentioned at one of the vineyards there was zero accountability. Overall would no recommend.

COVID PROTOCOLS NOT FOLLOWED - DANGEROUS!!!!
This was an awful and scary experience. We booked the Saturday afternoon tour. When the old school bus arrived to pick us up it was already at capacity (60 people). We were told the bus would be at 75% max capacity due to Covid. Two of us actually had to stand because there were no seats left. Our group decided to exit the tour at the next pick up location. There was no clean ing of seats when passengers were dropped off and new customers got on. The bus was very dirty and hot. We were denied a refund, but were instead offered coupns!?!? Overall a very dangerous situation due to no Covid social distancing protocols followed. I'm sorry I can't comment on the wineries as we couldn't risk our safety on that bus. I am reporting them to the Niagara Public Health Board so hopefully this gets shut down. If not do yourself a favour and avoid this tour at all costs.

      Overall good experience
Overall, we had a great time on the tour. Our bus was 30 minutes late however and due to some issues, what was promised as a larger socially distanced bus was actually a tiny school bus where the only measures taken were that we had to wear masks. Considering the price, we were not expecting too much, but the last stop was a little bit misleading - we thought there was a third vineyard but we were actually just dropped off at Niagara on the Lake. We managed to have an excellent time at all locations but heads up there are only two vineyards that you can enjoy wine at the 3rd is a storefront and they aren't very clear about this when you're dropped off.

Something fun to do on anniversary😊
Due to Covid, there were many deals going on since alot of businesses lost some revenue and found this deal at Groupon for around 80$ for two people. It was a pretty good deal for a full days worth of activity! There were a few stops you can go to to get picked up and we chose the falls convenience one as there is paid parking next to it so we dont have to look for one (easy enough!). The bus was suppose to be there at 9:55 and it was late for about 5 mins or so (not a big deal). The driver (Joe or Joel?) was super nice and had alot of energy! Due to covid, there were alot of rules such as no drinking of water or anything on the bus, no talking on the phone (which was good), no music playing, no chewing gum and mask has to be worn on board. The deal on Groupon said there would only be “28 people” on board the bus to maintain capacity and social distancing and there were definitely way more than that as the email they sent said there will be 38-40 people. So this could be a problem for many. It didn’t bother us but they should be strict about this especially with everything going on. The bus was an old bus, not the airconditioned kind as according to them, they are not driving those ones incase the AC breaks and they will have to cancel the tour (again, not a big deal for us but definitely weird reason) Which is disappointing to say from a company. The bus had a sanitizer as soon as you board and the exit route was opened and we sat close to it so we had air coming in as it was stuffy on the bus especially with mask on. The lunch spot was different than what was mentioned on Groupon which was disappointing as the place on the deal had better lunch menu. We were given a piece of paper with 4 options 2 burgers one vegetarian and one beef and 2 sausages again one vegetarian one meat. 15 dollars per person which includes a bag of chips, water and your meal. Cheese is an extra 1$. The burgers were good (not spectacular) both the vegetarian and the beef option. We visited 4 Wineries. 3 were a bit drive away from Niagara, as we thought it would be on the niagara-on-the-lake area but the last one was. We went to Vieni Estates, Legends Estates, Atlantis and Lakeview. 1. Vieni estates was amazing, we were social distanced very well. There were only 4 people in every table. The barn (which im assuming is for weddings) was beautiful. We sampled 3 wines. A sparkling moscato (yum, and we purchased one), a pinot grigio and some red. All were good and love that they server it in a proper glass and they were generous portions and not just tasting portions. The owner was super energetic and funny. He also made sure social distancing was maintained! 5/5 will come back one day! 2. Legends Estate was a cute place with a beautiful lake and you can see the skyline of Toronto with the CN tower from the lake. We tasted 3 wines, a sparkling rose, a white and a red (don’t remember it). The sparkling rose was mentioned that it was served at the Junos one year (we thought it was meh) as for the red and white, my husband and I didnt enjoy it at all. The winery was clean and pretty but the wines were not for us. This was our least favourite out of the tour. The staff were super friendly. Lots of wine were on sale for 10 dollars (imo not worth it but we purchased one anyways). 2/5 3. Atlantis was our 3rd stop and we had our lunch here. We ordered the iced wine slushie they were 10 dollars each, they were good but i thought super overpriced as the serving was the same portion as the tasting. You might as well just wait for the tasting since you get it anyways. This place was pretty! The owner and servers were funny, and provided good service. Our visit here flowed nicely. Our server was explaining wines very well and what you can cook with it or use it for. We sampled the most here. They kept mentioning this one drink I believe was called “motherpucker” and how sour it is and how its all that and our table thought it was “meh”. The price of the bottles here were on the higher end they were 40$ per bottle, they had a deal of buy 3 get 1 free and if you leave a review they will also give one free so 5 in total. Still thought it was over priced. Also, all their wines are super sweet. We enjoyed our visit here! 4/5. 4. Lakeview was pretty. The biggest out of the 4 I believe. Our time here was kinda rushed. We sampled a white (it was good), a Baco noir (we loved it and purchased one, selling for 15.95$) and a red ice wine (yum). Great selection in store. 4/5 The tour was suppose to go to a bonus spot such as a chocolate store and we never did. And as we head back to our drop off spots, we saw a new group joining in the bus and the bus was never sanitized prior to them boarding so I thought that was kinda reckless for the company and the driver (just my opinion). Overall, we had a fun time with our tour. Our driver was great and funny! It was something to do on a saturday long weekend and it was also our anniversary.

A fun and eye opening experience
As a couple we enjoyed the zany driver Joe and all the information he had to offer. Touring the family run Wineries who do not have a fair chance to compete with the big guys was refreshing. We did not prefer the wine at one specific venue, nor did we particularly like some hosts. All in all for $45 each we received way more fun and experiences than we paid for. If you want a private coach/tour because you are too good to ride on a school bus (known before we got there), this tour isn’t for you. If you are open to new experiences and can ride with the rest of us peasants, sign up and come for the experience, it was a good time!

      Maybe a 2.5?
Bought this from groupon for $41 and it sounded like a good deal for our group of four girls for a Niagara on the Lake wine tour. We never did get to Niagara on the lake instead they took us to beamsville. I wouldn’t have cared that much about the false advertising however they also didn’t take us to any of the wineries listed in the groupon. We visited Flat rock cellars very nice, Vieana it was good, alantis which to me wasn’t real wine but fruit liquor not my thing and legends which was awful as the smell of sewage made half the group sick. We did go for lunch at a great spot called Grand Oak where we pre ordered lunch for $15 ... it was actually amazing food and the savior of this tour! It was a sandwich made of fresh bread, salad, homemade amazing squares assortment for dessert and coffee and tea. You could also make some other fresh purchases here. The tour guide was really nice and friendly. I felt it was well organized in general but I was disappointed with the last 2 stops and feel they should strive to attend at least 2 wineries listed on the website, I don’t think that is much to ask.

      Wonderful private Bachelorette tour
8 women went on a private wine tour for a Bachelorette party and had an amazing time. The company was easy to communicate with and we had no issues with the process. Our driver Larry was very kind and friendly and kept us laughing. We went to the benchland area and had a good mix of some better known wineries and some smaller ones. With the price I do wish they had a few more options that offered free tastings (we only selected those to try and keep costs down). However, I am sure that has more to do the wineries themselves and not Niagara fun Tours. I would recommend this tour to all.

I treated my parents to a birthday wine tour and I want to start this review by saying our tour was made the best by our guide Tina (Justine Staples). She was excellent with communication, and kept everything running smoothly. We stopped at Lakeview, Small Talk, Hinterbrook and Legends. Tina drove the 6 of us in a very clean private van with sanitizer, made sure we were comfortable and she was so pleasant to talk with on the ride. She even allowed us to have lunch on the van (we'd packed sandwiches). The day was overcast and breezy but every stop was equipped to handle rain, it was great.

The only negative note I have to mention is that Hinterbrook winery is not good. They have a policy in place that you get 2 free samples only when you bring your own cups OR pay $10 for 5 samples. Thank goodness Tina went above and beyond by bringing us cups (didn't even ask which was so cool of her) , because after tasting Hinterbrook's wine, I would have been disappointed to have to for it. They produce their wine in steel vats and it tastes terribly cheap. I don't recommend stopping here.

On the high note, Small Talk Cidery was so cute and we specially requested to stop here. It's $15/flight of samples and its so worth it. Tina even looked around and let us know we could watch goat yoga taking place on the property! Another great stop was Legends, as we got to sip samples outside under a tent and our server was so friendly and informative! And as if that wasn't nice enough, Tina brought us to Chocolate FX to sample tons of delicious chocolates.

I know during COVID that tours can be weird / fall short of what we're used to but having been on a few amazing tours before, this one definitely stands above most. The guide is a big factor and Tina really was a joy. Would absolutely attend this tour again!

The trip was great! The bus was very comfortable coach-style buses. It was completely full and everyone was very friendly

The cost is well worth it considering it is truly a full day event.

We rated it 4 stars only because we felt that better wines could have been presented. We did not like many of the wines that we tasted, but we did end up buying a lot of other wines inside of the stores.

The coach was a little late picking up bit the driver was apologetic and professionally humorous. Our driver was also very informative and helpful from start to finish. The vineyards we visited were a good mix from Italian owned and Canadia owned all had something a little different to offer. The tasting experiences were pleasant and informative. The visit to a whisky distillery was a surprise, although I'm not a fan of whisky, amazingly I found a honet spiced Forty Creek whisky that I found to be smoother and really enjoyable, ending up buying a bottle to take back to the UK! I met some very friendly Canadians and Americans on the tour. Great experience as a solo traveller. Pick up was from Victoria Ave Niagara Falls and the driver obligingly dropped me off at the rear of my hotel on Clark Street, very convenient. I'd highly recommend this tour!

THE BUS DRIVER is the most ignorant person I’ve ever encountered in my life. We had a large group of 26 people, 30-70 years of age. The driver came into the middle of our group and began stating his list of rules while on the tour bus. Those rules included: no talking on your phone, no chewing gum, no music, no chatter amongst each other, the only time you are able to remove your mask is when you are taking a quick sip of your water for only a few seconds. He then proceeded to tell us if we do not abide by every single one of his rules we would not be able to load his bus. One person in our group said “so are we able to have any fun?”, in a joking manner and the driver went into complete defence mode. He then proceeded to tell 3 people that they were no longer apart of our bus tour that we each paid 50 dollars for. By the end of the many conversations that were had, the driver screamed that NONE of us were able to get on his bus. He then proceeded to get on the bus himself and pull away immediately. We were all left shocked and in awe. Truthfully I am unsure how THIS MAN HAS A JOB. Based on the numerous 1 star reviews I have read, this is an ongoing issue with this tireless man who has been identified as JOE. Well Joe, all I have to say to you is I hope your strong faith in God helps you keep your job. Each of the 26 people you forbad to enter “your” bus will be calling your superiors. We will be notifying them of your unprofessionalism, arrogance and lack of social skills. Best of luck in your future endeavours. All the best

I would not recommend using Niagara Fun Tours ! I had a very hard time contacting them to make sure all arrangements were planned according to our requests. Also got to pick wineries you would like to do. Well out of the 4 wineries we only went to 1 that we had picked. All the others by the time he tried to book them were full. 1 of the stop we had they didn't even know we were coming and wanted to know how we would be paying. (we had already paid for it through niagara fun tours)
One our limo drivers itinerary 2 stops were for the exact same time. And the drop off location was incorrect!!

Our limo driver was absolutely amazing!

My family has lost 450$ because of their deficient online booking system with Groupon. Very bad customer service, not cooperative to resolve customer problem based on their deficiency. Their online booking system confirmed that we paid and reserved for 13 persons. Then, two weeks before the trip they’ve sent us an email saying that only 4 persons were registered. They refused to refund us back the 450$ for the 9 persons left. Complete waste of time and money.

We were 4 couples that booked a private customizable tour. For 2 weeks prior to our tour Larry worked with us to create an itinerary. At this time I feel the need to point out that most wineries are not taking reservations during covid due to short staff and occupancy restrictions so take the negative reviews with a grain of salt as these people seem to think we are living in a normal world. If you're willing to pay $20 pp (or more) you may be able to reserve in some places but they book up weeks in advance. That being said we had to make adjustments in the last few days prior to our tour and even had to make some changes the day of but our driver (Tina) was quick to adapt and kept us sampling. We had a 10 person van with driver and hit 2 wineries, 1 brewery, 1 chocolate factory, 1 distillery + a lunch stop. We were picked up at our VRBO before 1100 and dropped off around 500. Tina provided endless info traveling between stops. Thanks for the tireless efforts guys.

Transport and tour guide Chris was top notch ! Names of winery was not respected so what was expected was the grand tour , we got the small tour with one winery offering chesse and crakers only. Since tour started at 11:20, we expected to stop at some place where we could eat something but no just wine . the highlight was the tour guide explaining the the way to taste and see what was the real quality wine we bought wine at the best place , lake view winery that one was the best not impressed with the rest since those were not the ones booked on expedia , sorry.

The tour was great! The driver picked us up from a carpool lot. The bus was comfortable. Drove to 4 different wineries and sampled 3-4 wines from each. The driver was very friendly and funny. The entire tour took about 6 hours from pickup to drop off so well worth the money!

I tried to contact the tour operators for weeks to confirm the lunch option so I would know if a group member of mine with an allergy would be able to eat at the stop, or if they should bring a lunch. They ignored all of my attempts to reach out, and only answered my question of where the lunch stop would be once I involved trip advisor.

The lunch stop was terrible. They served stadium food like steamed hotdogs and Mac and cheese, and at stadium prices too. They also only served one wine and the rest were ciders and that’s not what the tour was about.

Many of the wineries made us reuse the same plastic cups for tastings too.

The tour bus operator was extremely rude when we tried to discuss the lunch options with him, and even shooed my friend away by shaking his hand in front of her face as he passed her. He also said that if you answer your phone on the bus, you will need to immediately leave at the next stop. He also told us last minute that there will not be a stop at a country shop or chocolate store as they don’t do these tours on Saturdays….even though it does not say that in the ad

The first winery was really nice and it honestly went downhill from there
