    Canada on Stage
We brought an American friend to see the show and we all had a great time. It was nice to see Canada reflected in such a good way - from the food, to the music, to the laughs. Thank you to the cast and production crew for a night to remember.

    Laughed so much
Hubby’s birthday and our anniversary getaway in Ottawa. Niagara Falls went under so decided our getaway would be in Ottawa instead and had to check out my favourite dinner & show. This venue did not disappoint. Cast/servers were perfect. The new Klondike Kitty was our server and she was hilarious. I hope to be back and often.

    A fun night out
We caught the 96th performance of this dinner show and it was very enjoyable. The servers are also the singers and they totally bust their butts doing both. The food was delicious and plentiful and the show covers all-Canadian music from the 1940s to current. It’s a lot of fun. And the fiddle and keyboard players accompanying them do a fantastic job.

    Beyond my Expectations
We celebrated my wife's birthday by attending the Oh Canada Eh? Dinner show in Ottawa on July 25th. The food was great and the service was outstanding. I could not believe the voices of the singers. They really sang from the heart. The acting was also exceptional. The whole evening was a wonderful experience and it made me proud to be Canadian. Would absolutely recommend this show to everyone.

The food was fair and the music was like going to a high school performance but made for an entertaining evening.

    Too Painful Hours
To be clear, these kids don't take themselves too seriously, but sitting through two hours of off key renditions of Canadian singer songwriters was asking more of me than I could handle. The food wasn't bad - hot, fresh and flavorful. The crowd - mostly geriatric. The show itself was mediocre, with lackluster schtick and did I mention the off key singing. If you are visiting Ottawa, there are a ton of better ways to spend your evening.

    Excellent!
We attended the show with minimal expectations but were peasantry surprised! The acting, singing and music were outstanding. Very interactive event and a lot of fun! Food was tasty as well. Kudos to performers who deliver an excellent production. I will tell my friends to go see this.

    A Happy Family
The show was really fun and lively. Tourists will definitely enjoy the slice of Canadiana. The food was great — family style so everyone could try all the options and even the fussiest eaters in our party were happy.

    Amazing night out!!
My wife and I were looking for something fun to do locally, and we stumbled upon a facebook ad for this show. I'm very glad we decided to buy tickets because this was one of the best nights out in Ottawa in a long time! Who knew Tuesdays could be so fun? The food was nice and hot, and the performers were amazing! The performers also double as the servers, so sometimes you had to wait a while before speaking to them again, but it was all worth it!! Without giving too much away, our favourite parts were the Fisherman, a saloon girl, and a musical mashup involving a mountie in a canoe! Will be telling all of our friends about this little gem!

    Great night of entertainment
Went to see Oh Canada Eh show last night July 2019. Was a great show. Had dinner as well and food came out piping hot - start with buns, salad, homemade pea soup and then the show starts. About 45 minutes later out comes the food - roast beef, battered haddock, chicken, roasted potatoes, veggies. Very good. Then later comes maple cake and coffee and tea. Drinks are extra - prices reasonable. The only thing is the signage could be better when arriving at RA Centre. Confusing as to which door to go in. Go in through the doors where the big white "tent" is. The doors do not open until 6:15 AND you are assigned to a table when you buy your tickets online which I did not know. Very enjoyable and fun.

Such an enjoyable performance! Thank you!!!!!!
"I went to see 'Oh Canada EH! The musical at the RA Centre in Ottawa. It was a fun and lovely show - very engaging with the audience! The singing performances were great, and I was laughing quite loudly at times! I liked that there was a live band that accompanied the singers, consisting of a violin, piano and guitar. I could tell the performers really gave it their all and sang from their heart - I was captivated and actually their songs were swirling around in my head as I went to sleep! The Canadian music that they showcased was nostalgic from my childhood and captured the attention of everyone in the audience. I will note that most of the audience was seniors, and they seemed to enjoy it the show very much. Though I feel any age range would like this show (as long as they could sit still for 2 hours, maybe ages 15-100)!! Its enjoyable and does bring you back to the good times! I encourage more types of people to give it a try! Service was great! We were kindly offered a table with food, but I declined because we already ate and I did not want to waste good food. However that being said we got complimentary cakes afterwards which was a big plus for my little boy! I asked my son, who is 7, how the 2 hour show was... and he liked it and said we should go again (even though was a bit fidgety in truth). However, for a 7 year old boy to want to sit still for 2 hours again is quite impressive indeed! Thank you for the great performance!" --YJ from Ottawa

    Amazing dinner show!!!!!!
Absolutely loved this dinner show!!!!! We went on the Saturday night of the Canada day long wkd, and it was such a great idea!!! Amazing talented artists performing kept us in stitches as we enjoyed and excellent meal. The evening went by so quickly. We had out of town guests that went with us and we opted for the silver seating, which was perfect!!!! Would go back again!!! Not ideal for very young children

Wonderful Experience for a Family with Kids
We took our 3 children who are 6 (twins) and 11 to the performance. They had a great time and so did we...they laughed at the jokes and clapped to the music (a lot which they knew...especially the hockey song). The cast was engaging and very talented. We live in the U.S. and have visited Ottawa a few times over the past several years as a family and it was so nice to be able to do something new that was also really well done. If you are looking for something different to do on your vacation that will make your visit a little unique and special, then this show is a must and definitely family and kid friendly. Think Disney’s Hoop De Doo show, but on a much smaller scale and instead of a western theme you are taken on a musical trip through Canada meeting a singing hockey player, mounty and Anne of Green Gables along the way.

    Over hyped & over priced
If you’re a senior citizen you might enjoy the show, but in general it wasn’t great and it’s way too long. The performers and the lady on the piano were good, but the production felt like a high school musical taking place in the gymnasium. There was about 15 minutes of solid entertainment in the two hour show. The canoe bit was really well done and funny but a lot of the other songs and the few “jokes” were beyond corny, as was the failed attempts at accents. We went because it was SOOO hyped on CTV but after seeing the show we can’t help but feel some of the cast must be related or somehow connected with the reporter who reviewed the show. Overall it’s a good concept but the show misses the mark.

Wonderful cast, excellent singing, lovely meal. Not to be missed. The audience never stopped smiling and applauding from the top to the bottom of the show. There were too many favorite moments to list. Pure joy. A thoroughly delightful evening!

An AWESOME evening with everything Canadian complete with Canadian red and black plaid shirts and toques (block heaters). We were treated to great food, and a great show featuring traditional Canadian songs, songs by Canadian artists, humor, corny jokes and Canadianna (trivia). It was a good way to learn about Canada and being Canadian (some of its myths and misconceptions in a humorous fun way). Being from Canada, the show made us feel proud to be Canadian.

Dinner was typical Canadian dishes: fresh bread, garden salad, pea soup, roasted potatos, roasted vegetables, roast beef from Alberta, roasted chicken and fried fish. It was delicious and filling. Dessert was strawberry short cake. Their Canadian themed drinks were very good too.

The actors/singers doubled as our servers and were fun to talk to and had great voices. Some characters in the show were a French Canadian trapper, a Newfoundland (Maritime) fisherman, Klondike Kitty, Anne of Green Gables, a hockey player, a Mountie and a long haired hippy, etc. "My Heart Will Go On" was so hilarious I almost fell out of my chair. During the show they interacted with the audience and made for an entertaining and fun time. I was pulled on the stage to help with their rendition of the RCMP Musical Ride. We enjoyed ourselves and had a fun and real good time. This show would make Doug and Bob McKenzie proud.

Everything was AWESOME and I highly recommend for a fun evening. Great job everyone.

We had such a great time! The cast serves the meal and puts on the show. The portions were a good size, and we had pea soup, salad, fish, chicken, roast beef, roasted potatoes and vegetables, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. All were DELICIOUS! There are also drinks available, and we enjoyed the Sauble Beach Sunset, very tasty. The cast paid good attention to dietary restrictions, which we were asked about when we booked. The music was excellent, the show was funny, and overall we had an awesome time!

We recently attended the show for the fourth time, each time with a different group of family and friends. Whether visiting Americans, Seniors, or older children, everyone had a truly memorable and enjoyable evening. The energy level and talent of the performers are exceptional - and engaging. The family-style food is delicious, and the price is surprisingly reasonable for a very high-quality production. We all give it a strong Thumbs Up, and a resounding Yeah! (I mean Eh!!)

We took a colleague for her retirement dinner. It was perfect! And easy!!! We laughed and laughed! Since it was a work group, age ranges were varied but this was perfect because they performed songs from many eras and many places across Canada. We were all singing along. The food was super and we had a great server (the Mountie was ours! He was awesome and does a great Bare Naked Ladies!). It was great night to send off a retiring public servant and former Canadian Olympian. It is upstairs of the Legion (need to do a couple flights of stairs) so keep that in mine. Drinks were very affordable. Street parking only, I parked right in front and it was free after 5:30pm.

The actors/singers were all excellent as they sang, danced, and acted out themes from the long list of Canadian performers showcased. The food was also very good and plentiful.

The venue is a third floor of some sort of administrative building. The room where the performance was held has the feel of a community center room rather than a theater. They did a good job decorating it for the feeling of the show nevertheless.

If you want to be surprised by how many singer/songwriters are of Canadian origin, learn a little bit about Canadian people, and generally be entertained, then check this out!

10/10 experience! A friend and I went with our young kids (6-8 year olds) and it was a fabulous time. We mainly thought the kids would have fun but it ended up being a great time for all. The music was fun, singers were great, the service was attentive and the food delicious. Very family friendly even with young kids who wanted to stand up and dance most of the night. Would definitely recommend and return!

A musical revue of the great Canadian writers and singers. Loved the enthusiasm and high energy of the singers - who were also the servers. So much energy and they all seemed to be having a great time. Food was much better than expected - surprisingly good. Soup, salad and drink orders, then the entree during intermission, and dessert during the finale. Well worth the price.
