Niagra day tour with wine tasting
Our trip to Niagra falls was amazing! The views were beautiful and boat ride was soooooo worth it! Joe P was an awesome guide- funny and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the area and got to taste yummy maple syrup and Niagara Wine. We opted to do lunch on our own and had tons of options in the area. Would 100% recommend this tour!

10/10 Experience Must Book for a Niagara Day Trip!
First and foremost, Shafe was an AMAZING tour guide going above and beyond for our group. Because we were all so respectful of each others time we got to see a few extra things during our tour like the Whirlpool and some great Maple Syrup! We loved getting to experience the day with so much insight into the history of both Toronto and Niagara. Niagara itself was GORGEOUS as was Niagara on the Lake. A 10 AM wine tasting was a fun way to start the day. The selections were delicious and I had never heard of ice wine so getting to try that was very cool! Shafe kept us all engaged playing trivia games with us along the way and giving us tips from where to get the best souvenirs to what Maple Syrup was most popular amongst Canadians. Cannot recommend this trip enough!

The best tourist guide for a fantastic day at Niagara
Shaf is not only a wonderful tour guide, he is also an extremely friendly person. If you are looking for a sightseeing tour that is also extremely friendly and authentic, you are in the right place. The bus is warm and comfortable, during the trip the guide will tell you a lot of interesting annecdotes, Shaf just knows everything. The falls are a wonder and I recommend the "behind the falls" attraction. Besides the falls they took us to a wine tasting, maple syrup tasting and the fabulous town of Niagara on the Lake. Thank you Shafin for the fantastic day!

Fantastic trip to Niagara Falls with an extremely friendly and informative bus driver and tour guide
Comfortable transport, the driver was friendly and provided great tour guide information along the way. Timing was great too and the driver took us to a few additional hot spots after the main event of the Niagara Falls

Fabulous way to visit Niagara in one day.
Excellent full day of touring with plenty of options for all. We could choose from free time wandering around the amazing Niagara falls area, or lunch at a restaurant with a view. The boat ride below the falls is definitely worth getting a little wet for and then the small town experience at Niagara on the Lake was a beautiful finish to the day. The guide was friendly, helpful and very informative. Highly recommend this tour.

        First Time Niagara Visitors
Tour was brilliant. Picked up on time, guide was full of facts on the way to Niagara. The wine tasting was unexpectedly nice at 11am. We were dropped off very centrally and given plenty of time to explore the area and the Falls. Boat trip on the Hornblower was well organised and amazing. On the way back to Toronto, the stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake was amazing too. Such a quaint little town with amazing views of the lake. Loved snaking along the Canada/US border. Would highly recommend

Fabulous day out, but disappointed with Driver!
Great tour and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Tour guide very informative and funny. First stop was the University Winery for a wine tasting which was in pleasant surroundings with gift shop. Then onto Niagara for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the falls, which was great, but because we were a bus tour they would not let us sit at the tables overlooking the falls. Really annoys me this, as we have paid good money too for food, but they treat you like second class citizens? Staff not so friendly! Walked about a bit and then met up for the boat trip, which was a whole lot of fun, getting soaked! Gave you a different perspective being down near the falls from looking over the falls from above earlier on. Did not have time to wander around the "tackier" side of Niagara, but that was ok. Then onto town called Niagara on the Lake which was beautiful with all the flowers and little shops. Would have liked to have had more time here to go down to see the fort on the lake and read up on the history? Great trip but on giving the driver and the guide a $5 dollar tip each the look on the drivers face was full of disgust more or less to say "is that all"? If everyone gave tips to both of same it would have added up nicely. I was going to just give the guide the $10 tip hoping he would share it, but decided to split it. We are not rich by any means and save hard to go on holiday, so I felt humiliated after thinking I was doing something ok. It put me off tipping others on all the other trips booked, and to be honest so many people do not tip the drivers or the guides they just walk off!

This trip was booked for us by our UK travel agent and we were looking forward to it, great itinerary and a full day excursion. However we were met by the most incompetent tour guide I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. We were late to every part of the trip and as such given very little time to explore. We spent so much time sat on the coach waiting for other guests to arrive back as the timelines set by the guide were so tight and he had no control over anything and just blamed everyone else for his stupidity. The wine tasting is a waste of time, 3 wines to taste I would have sooner gone straight to Niagara Falls. The buffet lunch was not a buffet it was a sit down set menu, the food was ok but again rushed. We had tickets for the boat ride on Niagara for between 2:30 and 3:30pm we didn’t get to the boat until 3:15pm and he wanted us back on the coach by 4pm. We rushed and got back on the coach around 4:30pm and sat looking at the scenery until around 5:30pm when the coach driver had to take us to the Maple Syrup tasting and gift shop…….
When the guide eventually arrived I explained my frustration he apologised and just rolled his eyes…….we were not the only ones complaining he shouldn’t be doing this job.

This could be a great trip if the stops were better, I want to see Niagara Falls not be sat on a coach for hours and hours not going anywhere. The driver Len was ok although he couldn’t operate the air conditioning so it was just very hot or very cold.
In the UK these two would be known as the Chuckle Brothers……avoid this trip and this guide.

We are actively addressing this issue with your travel agent to ensure better scheduling in the future. Additionally, we appreciate your comments about the wine tasting and the buffet lunch. Didn't necessarily hate it, but definitely didn't love it. The tour is listed as a 9-hour trip, and it's more like 11-12 hours. So, if you want to spend a few more hours doing this, then great. The tour guide is nice and extremely informative, but very jokey and talks the entire 11-12 hours, so be prepared. The wine tasting was very brief (around 30 mins) and not really worth a stop; there was nothing special about it. We saw a preview of the Falls before we stopped for lunch. Lunch was TERRIBLE by the way! Don't get the lunch!!! Bring your own or just grab something else in the area. The lunch is not worth it! The Falls were amazing, and it was simple getting on and off the boat. Our group thought seeing the Falls was the end of the trip since it was the highlight, but there was another stop to a souvenir shop a few miles away, which was unnecessary in my opinion because there is a souvenir shop directly at the Falls, which the tour guide discouraged us from purchasing items there. They must get a kick back or something for taking us away to the other souvenir shop. The souvenir shop they took us to has a maple syrup tasting, which was a nice touch, but the shop itself was underwhelming and way overpriced. I wished I bought something at the souvenir shop at the Falls. After that, there was yet another stop at a quaint town called Niagara on The Lake. This was nice, but completely unnecessary. Maybe they can combine this stop with the wine tasting to make one stop, which would be more efficient. Also, they should probably add the maple syrup tasting at this stop too and get rid of going to the souvenir shop miles away. Nonetheless, seeing Niagara Falls was an amazing experience and was the only standout moment of the tour. Everything else kinda fell short.

The tour was a full 12 hour day even though it is advertised as a 9 hour day. The lunch is not worth it and the servers don’t want you there as much as you don’t want to eat there. The food is not edible. The tour guide was invasive and made jokes when people were looking for real answers. The wine tasting is first so if you don’t eat breakfast there is no food available since the kitchen is just starting and not set up for that. The wine tasting is 3 1.5/2 oz pours(Chardonnay rosé, and an ice wine). There is very little time between each event to really enjoy it and when you try to take a moment to enjoy it the guide is standing over you asking questions. The falls are beautiful and the ride underneath them is so fun. The best part of this experience are those things guided by other tour companies. I would not do this tour again and I hope that no one else does it. Truly would be better to get a car and drive to the area which is truly amazing. I had to take a $280 Uber back to get back at the time I expected to get back for a 9 hour tour.

Was an interesting morning, the falls were breathtaking. For the tour so much packed in one day leaving at 10am and hitting traffic we should have left a lot earlier. Due to us not leaving earlier lunch felt rushed and a number of us didn’t get dessert. We had to queue for the horn blower and feel this should have been done earlier in the day eg. Before lunch as the queues were extremely large. We rushed around niagara on the lake and the had to rush to the winery which we would have rather not attended the winery as they just wanted to close. Overall recommend a great day needs to start 2-3 hours earlier or remove an activity. Selfish people on the tour also didn’t arrive on time when leaving and we had to wait. Overall, we also hit the traffic on both stretches of the journey so wasted lots of time.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, the lunch was nice and had a great view of the falls, and I appreciated the fact that we were able to visit an ice wine winery. The trip for the most part was fun but I felt we spent way too much time in the town of Niagara Falls (not Niagara on the Lake which would've been nicer). It felt like too much time in an area that was way too touristy and had nothing unique to see. Ended up spending about an hour waiting around in the lobby of the Sheraton - either that or spending time novelty, generic museums.

We were really optimistic about the tour, but it was less than ideal. Some recommendations: 1- do not add the lunch on. It was definitely not worth the extra cost for a bowl of soup, dry chicken or bland pasta, and a dessert. The view from the restaurant was gorgeous, but it would have been more satisfying just ordering off the menu or going to one of the many other options up the street. 2-definitely add the boat ticket as that was the highlight of the tour.

The stop at the winery college was fine, three small samples and the opportunity to purchase wine, beer, and other items. Some interesting info was provided, but no real value to the day other than setting up the timing for lunch and the boat ride. The trip to Niagara on the Lake on the way back to Toronto was an absolute waste of time. The bus is too large to drop off in town, so you are dropped off at the welcome center which is a 10 minute walk to town. We were there for one hour, so 20 minutes was taken up by the walk leaving very little time to do much of anything. There is small shuttle into town, but the last trip back to the bus was 15 minutes after drop off so no value there. It would have been more beneficial to just spend that time at the Falls meandering through the garden, or going up to the many attractions/shops/restaurants on the street up from the falls.

Probably the #1 reason this tour was a disappointment was the guide-Joe P. I understand part of his job is to make sure we get where we need to be, but he spoke to us in such a condescending voice that he alienated most of the tour. His attempts at humor fell far short of the mark and he had no idea how to 'read' his audience. We probably learned more about Tim Horton than we ever imagined we were missing in our lives. The only real interesting historical information about the area was provided on the drive from the Falls to Niagara on the Lake. We saw some beautiful scenery and homes on that portion of the drive and it would have been perfect if we just continued back to Toronto instead of going to Niagara on the Lake. The day may have been more enjoyable with one of the other guides, but he really ruined it for us and many of the bus mates sitting around us. We were picked up late from the start and didn't get back to Toronto until almost 8:30 pm. 11 hours in total was way too long. There are better options to chose from, but the Falls are a must during any trip.

I would not recommend this tour. When you book the tour it says the bus leaves at 9:30am with a 5 minute window then the bus leaves with or without you. We waited over 40 minutes for one group of three that was late. So naturally this gave us a very late start. The wine tasting stop was a very short stop allowing for a tasting of 3 wines and a few minutes to purchase a bottle of wine if you so desired. To me not worth the time for what was already a long trip. Once we finally got to the Falls our group got separated due to the large crowds and part of the group got in the wrong line and missed the boat to see the Falls. The guide then let those few that missed the boat get on the next boat again delaying us further. The stop after the falls was to a small town call Niagra on the Lake. It’s a beautiful small town but we only had an hour which isn’t enough time to have dinner or really do much because everything has long lines and wait times. We ultimately didn’t get back to Toronto until after 9pm totaling a 12 hour day.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and sharing your experience at Niagara Falls. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences you may have encountered during your visit. We understand that heavy traffic and tourists showing up late can sometimes impact the flow of the tour, and we genuinely regret any disappointment this may have caused. Please be assured that we make every effort to adjust our schedule and accommodate everyone to the best of our abilities. Our main goal is to provide all of our guests with the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent attractions that Niagara Falls has to offer, particularly the highly popular Niagara boat cruise. As you mentioned, we face the challenge of limited time when organizing our tours, as we strive to offer a comprehensive and memorable Niagara experience within a specific timeframe. Despite this constraint, we are committed to ensuring that each guest receives a fulfilling and enjoyable visit to the best of our capabilities. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can further refine our services. Rest assured, we will take your comments into consideration and explore ways to enhance the overall experience for our future visitors.

This was such a wonderful experience! My friends and I came on a girls’ trip to Toronto and this experience was shared with us with one of our friends. The tour guide was knowledgeable and warm; the bus is comfortable/spacious/and has outlets and USB ports to charge your phone (a HUGE plus when you’re taking pictures and out all day). The lunch was decent, and I did enjoy having a three course meal; the boat cruise through the falls was beautiful/exhilarating/refreshing/and fun! (What a wonder to see Niagara Falls from that vantage point!); we stopped at a number of sites along the way, including the whirlpool and the town (where we got delicious ice cream); we rounded out the day at a beautiful winery! For my first time to Toronto, this tour was extraordinary, and has been a highlight of our trip thus far! I would thoroughly recommend others take advantage of this wonderful experience! Not only was it a fun filled day, but I also learned so much more about Canada! Definitely worth every Penny!

Excellent tour, very detailed, good timed and not boring at all. The tour guy was really helpful and make our tour really enjoyable. However, I cannot rate 5 stars since the company who made the tour was different from the one I booked ( apparently the season is slow for some companies ).

Highlights - Ice wine tasting and the boat ride to the falls we’re awesome!

Traffic was horrible, resulting in a 2.5 hour drive back. I don’t think the last stop at Downtown Niagara on the Lake was needed and wasn’t long enough to do anything so would have preferred if it were skipped.

Unfortunately at the end of this very long drive back to Toronto, the driver and tour guide were loudly complaining about the tips from the first passengers they dropped off and it really soured our whole experience. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
