About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Srlowe0 contributionsMagical lights of TorontoOur twilight bicycle tour was terrific. A highlight during our trip to Toronto. Oscar was knowledgeable and made our trip special. The ride was easy and so relaxing from the active city. The island is beautiful. The ferry ride back to the city was spectacular with the lights of Toronto magical.Written September 26, 2024
- jensauter710 contributionsToronto isn’t just a big city!!!Toronto is not just a busy city. It has a stunning grouping of islands that offer stunning views of the city and a relaxing charm of island living. Our tour included a ferry ride over and back. While touring the islands we saw historical markers, beautiful beaches and a lighthouse from the 1800’s. Our guide, Sydney was was knowledgeable and funny. She even had a ghost story up her sleeve. The tour was not difficult at all and the bike trails and lanes made even the most cautious rider feel secure. We went in September and had a cloudy day and the tour was still very enjoyable. Would highly recommend a bike tour of the Toronto IslandsWritten September 24, 2024
- N4213KDjang0 contributionsThe PERFECT excursion! It was the perfect amount of riding (no hills other than one on the way back but not bad at all) and the bikes were in fantastic condition which really helped because switching gears made it quite easy to manage any small challenges (I'm over 60) but truly anyone can do the ride. Sydney, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and guided us with skill through city traffic (before and after the ferry) and we were able to spend ample time at each feature on the island, have our questions answered, and since we had a bit of extra time before the ferry we (with the two other people on our tour who were delightful) have a quick treat at one of the island's outside coffee shops. Choosing the morning ride was nice because as we finished the ferry seemed to drop of A LOT of people, we enjoyed the island almost to ourselves as it was early morning on a weekday. EXCELLENT experience and value!Written September 19, 2024
- O6467QQjoanneb0 contributionsAmazing Tour of a Wonderful CityWe took an e-bike tour of Toronto with Terence. We went all over the city exploring neighborhoods tucked and areas we would never have seen otherwise. We truly enjoyed our time and the e-bikes were easy to learn and use. We always felt safe and cared for in Terence’s capable hands!Written September 12, 2024
- Adrianne W0 contributionsAmazing tripTerrance was an amazing guide. He made the ride interesting and informative. We really enjoyed the journey. We saw so many areas off the beaten path that we would not have seen from a car.Written August 30, 2024
- iworx0 contributionsAwesome views and a enthusiastic guide. The enthusiasm of our guide, Sylvia, was radiating. We arrived just in time in their starting location and were greeted with a big smile. After fitting and testing the well equipped bikes in the underground parking garage we hit the very busy streets of Toronto, still suffering a bit from the floods of a few days before. We headed out to the ferry terminal while sightseeing the area around the CN tower and the old Powerplant. The tempo was perfect for everyone. Just before boarding the ferry we got a talk about what we would be about to see. They ferry itself gives you a prime view on the city skyline while the landing smaller planes come over head. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to cross the water and debark on the Islands. Starting from Hanlan’s Point we drove the Island across with multiple stops & a very solid guide on the how’s and why’s of the Toronto Islands. We were given the most beautiful sunset from the residential Algonquin island overlooking the city skyline. After one more stop we reached the ferry and our way back to the shop. 3 hours, 15km and a ton of pictures and information later we said our goodbyes after taking a group selfie. A lot of fun and beautiful on a Thursday evening. Highly recommended.Written July 19, 2024
- Scenic549945040020 contributionsSafe and informative.Oscar and Daniela confidently led us through a busy downtown Toronto and to the ferry. Once on the island, they gave us lots of information about the island and kept a great pace for the whole group that included families with young children. They were patient and accommodating.Written July 18, 2024
- daremejclc0 contributionsAbsolutely Amazing Bike Experience!I’m an avid bike rider, and I love to experience different cities and countries via two wheels. The Toronto islands evening bike tour was by far one of the most exhilarating and fantastic biking experiences that I’ve ever had! The tour description doesn’t do justice to what an exceptional tour this truly is. Having the opportunity to get on two wheels and adventure out of the city and onto a ferry to visit the surrounding islands fascinated our group. The booking process was extremely simple, and mobile tickets were provided to us immediately. The meeting instructions were clear and concise, and no confusion was had on the part of our touring party. Any tour worth it’s weight, is only as good as the tour guide. We were fortunate to have an exceptional tour guide. Sylvia is absolutely the best person to give you insight and information regarding the city, the surrounding area, and especially the islands in which we toured. Her knowledge is incredible, and only matched by her winning personality. From the onset, Sylvia placed everyone at ease and made us feel extremely comfortable as she went over the safety rules of the bikes. She was extremely thorough, but also friendly as she gave us the dues and don’ts. After a brief tutorial, and a test to ensure that everyone felt comfortable on their bikes, we were off for the adventure of a lifetime. The light rain that we experience during the beginning of our tour didn’t put a damper on the experience. The sprinkles ended as quickly as they begun, and we were off touring the city and heading toward the ferry. If you like the outdoors, and love the feel of getting a little exercise and seeing a city from a different vantage point, then I highly suggest this tour. It is by far one of the best bike tours I’ve ever been on. If you have the opportunity and can request Sylvia, I suggest that you do that without hesitation. The tour itself was magnificent, but Sylvia stepped it up to a completely different level. I commend the company for hiring this young lady, she should be the model for all future tour guide! If you’re thinking of something fun and exciting to do while you’re in Toronto, and you want to see a different side of the city I suggest this tour. You will not be disappointed and the views and scenery will blow you away!Written July 8, 2024
- Herewego19050 contributionsAmazing Sunset Ride of Toronto IslandsMy brother myself, and my sister-in-law had the opportunity to take part in this wonderful experience. Our experience began Friday morning on a plane ride from Detroit. We were traveling to Toronto to spend a few days there and our goal was to make it out to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. As we sat on the plane, we thought “hey, we don’t do our Niagara Falls trip until the next day let’s do a bike ride.” So we started searching on Tripadvisor for the best opportunity and we came across this tour. Well, we had a glitch as we actually booked our tour for the next day, Saturday, the same day that we were going on the Niagara Falls trip. We arrived at the site for the bicycle tour on Friday evening about a half an hour early and Sylvia in all of her professionalism was able to change our tour date from Saturday to Friday and we were able to participate. Let me just say a few words about Sylvia. Quite frankly, she is the best. Her energy level, enthusiasm, knowledge, and love for what she does was on full display during the tour. Sylvia was gracious, patient, and just provided an outstanding tour. Her knowledge of not only the islands, but of Toronto proper was extraordinarily on point and interesting. There were only six of us on the tour, and she made each one of us fell as if we were the most important person in the world. Sylvia by far is the best tour guide that we’ve had in a long time, and my brother and myself, and my sister-in-law have gone on many Bike tours. Back to the tour, if you love bike riding and ferries and interesting facts you’re going to love this tour. We went from the downtown area of Toronto to the ferry, landing to the islands of Toronto all in 3 1/2 hours and I could tell you it was not whirlwind, but it was satisfying. I highly recommend this tour and if it all possible you should specifically ask for, SylviaWritten July 6, 2024

- WooAmbulass0 contributionsA Wonderful MorningThe day the started well when the meeting point was well signposted in the car garage we were told to meet them in. It made it very easy to know where to park. Ryan was very knowledgeable about local history and had amusing stories and fun facts along the way. It was great fun riding the bikes through the city to the ferry port and even more fun riding through Toronto Islands and seeing how lovely it was there along with amazing views of the Toronto skyline across the water. He provided water and snack bars along the way which was appreciated. Multiple restroom stops if required. The bikes themselves were very good quality and easy to use. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who is considering it.Written June 28, 2024
- C J0 contributionsEpic bike tour experienceThe whole experience was epic! Highly recommended. The whole tour from start to finish was amazing, great experience, the tour guides were very knowledgeable & friendly. Would definitely do again if I come back to Toronto.Written June 17, 2024
- Escape544027813660 contributionsSuch a fun morning!Such a fun morning getting away from the city life and riding bikes on peaceful Toronto Island. Sydney and Consuelo were great guides and taught us so much about the history of the island. The photos they took and shared were icing on the cake! Everything would have been perfect if the guides could have controlled the weather. We rode back in torrential rain. lolWritten June 12, 2024
- S258ZIclaudiac0 contributionsGreat way to see the Toronto skylineWe couldn't have chosen a better way to start our trip out in Toronto. The most difficult part of the tour was getting out of the parking garage. Our guide, Silvia, was great! She made sure out group was well taking care of: safety, information, guidance and even fixed a bike chain, what a girl! Our group ranged in age from 22-64, and we all did fine. Once we got to the ferry the ride was more relaxing, but Silvia made sure we got through the city all together. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the island. Would have loved to see the island in it's glory days! Would definitely recommend the evening tour - our sunset from the island was amazing!Written May 25, 2024
- smonti0 contributionsGreat active way to see the Toronto harbor and islandsWent as a group from a parking garage in downtown Toronto to the harbor to board a ferry. The bikes were comfortable "cruiser" bikes. They aren't electric - but we didn't need them as most of the ride is flat. Toronto has bike lanes and riding in town is safe. The harbor ride is pleasant and takes ~ 10 minutes. Once on the island, we rode around and saw the yacht club, historic buildings and cute neighborhoods of the few people who get to live on the island. No meal - but there was water and granola bars available.Written May 23, 2024

Had a great tour with Jeffrey yesterday and got lucky to have a private tour (during busier times groups are up to 14 - with 2 guides).
It was my first time in Toronto and my first time on a city bike tour. Highly recommend! So much to see in a compact area, v cool architecture and varied neighborhoods/sights on this tour. Pace was easy and Jeffrey was great.
Small recommendation for management - there was plenty of boring/irrelevant information shared (mundane things that might be different had I visited during a different time of day, day of week, season, etc) , or minutiae that went on too long (eg guessing games about prices). I don’t think this was Jeffrey’s fault. I would have been happy hearing less on a shorter tour, or hearing more human interest stories like the one about the architect who designed city hall. This was still a 5-star tour!

Great tour! The guide provided comprehensive information. We road all over the city with some of the ride in designated bike paths. Some highlights: riding through neighborhoods like Kensington Park, taking pics at the Toronto sign, quick ride thru Eaton Centre, Sugar Beach and the view of Toronto Island, and the last stop at CN tower. We did have portions of ride off the bike paths and close to traffic. We went with a 13 year old which he was able to manage fine. I'd have been concerned if he had been a couple of years younger. During the summer, I recommend a morning tour due to the heat, by the time we finished (12:30 pm) it was hot! My son's bike had a brake loose, but guides were able to adjust on the spot!

Highly recommend! We spent 3 hours+ riding bikes and getting an in depth showing by a local. My favorite part was that after the bike tour, we knew exactly what to see next on our trip and where to eat next. Riding the bikes is easy and the city doesn't have the traffic like NYC, so it's not scary or dangerous. We had a blast and absolutely loved it. We also lucked out because it was just 2 of us on the tour, so we got a private special experience.

I have done lots of city bike tours and found these guys super professional and friendly. Bikes were in good condition, warm layers / water / snacks available if needed and Jeffrey gave a fantastic tour. A great way to get to know downtown in just 3 hours. Highly recommended.

A great way to orientate yourself to the highlights of downtown Toronto. Despite a very rainy, cold day, our guide Ryan brought the enthusiasm. Ryan took great pictures of us braving the weather. We enjoyed seeing the sights. And as we explored the city on our own the next two days, we enjoyed being able to say, "oh, we saw that yesterday."

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour which takes you all over the Toronto Metro area. Our tour guide, Mike, was absolutely terrific! Mike provided just the right amount of current information, history and amusing facts to help understand the make-up of a beautiful city that is constantly growing. I would highly recommend this tour.

If you like cycling, then forget the bus tours, hop-on/hop-offs and even a walking tour, and try this bicycle tour of Toronto. As long as you’re lucky with the weather (not too cold, not too hot and not too rainy), which was our case, except for a downpour in our last stop at CN Tower, this tour takes you around the main highlights of Toronto’s center in an open and much more personal way, including Chinatown, Kensington Market, City Hall, Dundas Square/Eaton Centre, Financial District, St. Lawrence Market, Distillery District, Harbourfront and CN Tower / Skydome (ok… Rogers Centre). They take photos during the tour and share them with you after, apart from offering to take photos of you during stops. Very knowledgeable and a lot of nice stories. An extremely well spent time with Carlos and Ryan, many thanks!

This is a busy city. We had two guides one in the front and one in the back of the group. Jim was the lead and was very informative about the city and stephanie took the back ensuring the group stayed together and got through busy intersections. Stephanie took pictures which she then sent to the group…this was a nice bonus. Really got a nice feel for the city. Highly recommend this tour.

Highlight of our Toronto stay. Terrence was a fantastic guide and his familiarity with the area shined throughout the tour. Bikes were comfortable and in superb shape. Water (and a granola bar snack) provided for our journey. The 2.5 hour tour was not strenuous and breaks were taken throughout. Would highly recommend for ages 10 thru 80. Views and other sights: breath taking! If you want to really discover Toronto, don’t hesitate to take this tour…and ask for Terrence as a guide!

We had heard great things about this tour before coming and it really lived up to expectations. Very informative, really friendly and approachable guides, a well planned route and we always felt safe on the road despite Toronto traffic! Would highly recommend especially for your first day in Toronto to get a feel of the place and discover its highlights. Thank you to Si and Terence for a great afternoon, and for expertly dodging the rain!

if I take the hop on hop off tour in the morning at 9 am (2 hour tour), can I still join your bike tour in the afternoon?
Written January 8, 2020
Yes. I did a walk about in the morning and then did the bike trip in the afternoon.
Written January 8, 2020
Does the tour enter the CN Tower - to view the city from above?
Written July 7, 2019
No but I arrived at the CN Tower at 8;00 am and only waited twenty minutes before they let us in early. You can easily tour around the CN Tower first thing in the morning and then meet the tour later
Written July 10, 2019
are the bikes joined together or are the bikes separate? like do we each get our own individual?
Written June 14, 2019
You get individual bikes. They also make sure they are the correct size and adjusted for you before you begin.
