About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- vadag20200 contributionsAbsolutely vile companyI have had the most awful experience with this tour company. Michael has been so unprofessional to me and my partner. We paid a LOT of money for this tour for my partner's birthday and were put on another tour that did NOT include niagara on the lake and instead included gift shops and wineries when neither of us drink. The price of the tour we paid for was £94 a person and the one we were put on was £56! We will be pushing for a refund due to the unprofessional nature of the employee Michael. Telling my partner to get some perspective and using winking faces and sarcastic comments will not be tolerated. I would reconsider if you think this is a professional company.Written February 3, 2025
- Crazy_3650 contributionsDefinitely recommend, would book again!Had an excellent time! Alex was a great tour guide, knowledgeable on area history and sites, made the trip to the Falls fly by. Roman drove the tour bus to destinations, navigating fastest routes. Niagara Falls Hornblower boat tour was the highlight of the tour. Bus and other guest were punctual, avoiding tour delays. Picked up at 8:15 by large bus, and returned by 5:30. Unrelated traffic accident on return caused slight delay and alternate route. Out of tour operator control. Would highly recommend! Company has been in the game for a long time, they clearly know what they’re doing.Written August 24, 2024
- nat_keene0 contributionsFirst class tourEverything about this tour was a wonderful experience, we would highly recommend. Pick up from downtown Toronto worked smoothly (the bus was actually early), Michael our tour guide struck the right balance between informative, entertaining and allowing us time to relax. All information about the day was given ahead of any stops, it was made super clear when and where to re-join the bus after a stop and we had plenty of time at each. Highlight of course was the boat tour into the Falls (just WOW) but Niagara on the Lake also beautiful. We went on a Sunday which meant less traffic in/out of Toronto so more time at the stops. A brilliant day trip.Written August 23, 2024
- paulinecooper140 contributionsFantastic tourEasy pick up frpm Downtown Toronto. Stopped at Niagara on the Lake which is a picture perfect town with quaint shops and cafes. Niagara was amazing and the trip on the Hornblower cruise just awesome. Great coach driver and host. Would highly recommend.Written October 6, 2023

He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, delivering his information in a fun and entertaining way. He made the tour one of the best I have ever taken!!! The boat portion of the tour to the base of the falls should not be missed! It was exhilarating, wet and a blast!!! The tour provided a great combination of local information coupled with the beauty of the Niagara region.Written April 29, 2023

- 328sarahl0 contributionsExcellent and well organised dayWell organised, Michael was great and explained history of the falls well, as well as information about the general area, in a really fun and genuine way. We had to take a detour through vineyards and stop and Walkers instead, which was really beautiful, and those views of Toronto over the vineyards were stunning! The boat trip makes the day for sure. Thanks for everything Michael and Roman (driver).Written September 30, 2022

- LYT-CES0 contributionsRude. Dreadful customer service!I booked this two days before my trip. On the morning my young granddaughter was vomiting. I phoned and Michael was very rude and extremely unhelpful. Would not help with an alternative date. He agreed I could not bring her when she was vomiting. I had traveled from Nr Ireland and have lost nearly £200. My sister who lives in Canada rang him and again he was very rude and unhelpful. I emailed them to say it was COVID but have had no reply. Dreadful customer service. I definitely would not recommend dealing with them.Written September 9, 2022
- mairin m0 contributionsLovely DayWe recently had a lovely day out with Tony as our tour guide and bus driver. A visit to the falls is a must. Just be aware that you will get wet but it is well worth it, it is only for a very short time anyway. Tony was most accommodating and really looked after everyone. The stops along the route were just ok, some nice photo opportunities though.Written October 27, 2019
- Alirickard0 contributionsRUDE, RUDE, RUDERUDE, RUDE, RUDE. We booked this trip, waited at the wrong location which was totally our fault as we are tourist and not used to the street numbering. 10 mins after the due pick up time the driver rang shouting that we were holding up a bus full of people. We told him we would not make it to the pick up location. We didn't make that trip but went with City sightseeing Toronto tours who were absolutely brilliant (thanks Alex) and cost less. We contacted the company to see if we could be reimbursed for the boat trip as we believe the company would not have paid for this part of the tour as we didn't attend. Michael was very rude through email and phone calls, he was also very rude to hotel staff who also tried to deal with him on our behalf.Written September 24, 2019

If you are in Toronto and have one day to do Niagara falls, take this tour. It is great value and you get to see all the best bits with plenty of free time at the Falls to do the boat ride and have a wander around and eat lunch. The tour is about the Falls, the history and geology of the area including Niagara on the Lake. There are no stops at shops or wineries for any hard sell. Edward was a welcoming and informative guide who has grown up in the Toronto area so was very knowledgeable and he went out of his way to make sure we all had the best day, despite the weather! The tour has one pick up point in the Centre near the CN tower so you don't waste hours collecting lots of people before leaving Toronto. Our driver Romano also deserves praise for his ability to negotiate the traffic, finding the quickest route through. A great day. Thank you

Small bus which made the trip more personal. Alex told us so much about Toronto, Canada and the area we drove through which was so interesting. Good stops including Niagara on the Lake (great donut and coffee!), viewing points as we climbed up to the Falls. Being winter, snowing and cold, the Falls did not disappoint. No boat trip as Winter but that was ok and we went up the Tower in stead. And no crowds at all. Recommend the trip behind the falls too. The power and speed of the Falls from behind is crazy. Great trip, so easy and worth the money as if we went independently we would not have appreciated and learnt nearly so much about the Falls and the area. Thank you Alex

This trip was the highlight of my tour to Toronto. From start to finish everything was as I expected, in fact in some cases more.
Tony, the tour guide and driver of the small bus I was lucky to be on, was friendly, interesting and very helpful. He went out of his way to help me by getting a charger cable for my phone, which for some reason had not charged properly overnight. I am usually a nervous passenger but felt totally relaxed with Tony's driving.
He was very informative about places to see, where to go to for the best view etc and even suggested types of food and souvenirs we might be interested in buying. One suggestion he made was that we buy something for a picnic lunch as we would have long queues in the crowded restaurants at Niagara Falls. This was good advice and I am very glad I bought a sandwich at an earlier stop, so I didnt waste precious time waiting for lunch.
The Falls were an amazing experience. Definitely ticked off my bucket list. Yes, there were huge crowds, but it wasn't unpleasant, they were all very friendly and the staff were helpful, friendly and everything was very organised and well controlled. Despite the long queues, they moved fairly quickly.
As this tour does not include it in the summer trips, I would strongly recommend you pay extra for a trip up the Skylon Tower. It is a bit of a steep walk up from the area where the bus drops you off, but it is well worth the effort. You get a magnificent view of the falls and the landscape all around.
I went on the boat into the mist, which was a lot of fun. Don't wear long trousers, unless they dry off quickly, you will get soaked. Word from the wise, the photo they take is a major rip-off price. It cost me $50 and I did not realise that I could have refused to purchase it.
The bus trip back to the city was timed to get us back at around 4.30pm, so we had a few more hours of daylight in which to wander around the waterfront.

When we arrived at 8am, the owner of the tour company (not the tour guide) was out on the sidewalk lecturing guests about their “negative energy” and how he didn’t like it. He was rude and not welcoming at all! Then he came on the bus and publicly and loudly lectured another guest, called out her first and last name and then proceeded to tell her “it’s not the way this works” in a very condescending manner. Given that we were we all excited for the day ahead, it was not a nice, positive way to get started.
The tour guide, Alex, was very informative and helped the drive to the falls go by quickly.
The stop at Niagara on the Lake was really nice and the highlight of the day was definitely the boat ride at the falls. That made it all worth it!
The bus was not good…after our first stop we were told that the toilet was out of order. Not a huge deal for most people, but not the best when traveling with children. Then, when we got back on the bus to head back to Toronto, we were told that the air conditioning was not working. It felt like 32 Celsius outside, so the 2 hour drive back was horribly hot and uncomfortable.
The bus driver was pleasant and provided a nice drive.
At the end of the day, the tour guide proceeded to tell us that it is customary to give tips to himself and the driver of 10-20% of our ticket prices. It was a bit of a turn off to be told that we should tip a certain amount. And to be quite frank, the poor quality bus and the rude start to the day didn’t warrant a great tip.

We are very happy we did the falls via tour instead of handling it ourselves for full relaxation on where to go, park, handle Toronto traffic. The chosen spots were excellent and we generally had enough time (though more at Niagara-on-the-Lake and less at the bathroom stop or lunch near the falls might have been nice). Hornblower boat ride was our favorite!
Logistics could use some improvement though - we arrived at the meeting spot at 8:15am only to sit on the bus in the city for nearly 45 minutes before leaving. It felt like a few booking companies were funneled to the same bus. Maybe because of the late start, we were over an hour late getting back to the city. I understand the traffic situation, but I found it a little frustrating because we were so late leaving Toronto in the morning and the website was so insistent on return before 5pm.

Michael was an excellent guide. He not only made the trip exciting and amusing but also made a couple of calls that meant that we had clear views of the falls and we had a great view from the tower. The small group meant a more personal tour, with Michael's witty banter livening up the drive between stops. I would highly recommend Niagara and Toronto tours for the seamless day trip.

We didn't get to go on it. The owner of company called and said it was supposed to rain all day and since we just arrived in Canada the day he called, he wanted to book for next day. That would have been too hard on us. So the gentleman said where we were staying in Canada was halfway between Toronto and the Falls it would be best if we just drove over to the falls. They are supposed to refund us a 100% of what we paid for the Tour.

Fantastic day Michael gave a in depth humourous tour with no bull! giving the "inside line" on all stops and with a in depth knowledge on all places visited. The pace of the tour was just right, being the right amount of time allocated to each stop. The Driver(Roman) was master of his craft a faster, Safer, smoother bus driver I have yet to use. Michael at first may seem firm but he had everyone on point back at the bus on time at each stop. The whole day ran like clockwork even negotiating the Horrendous Toronto Traffic. Picked up and dropped off professionally
A fantastic day experiencing and learning many more things than expected well worth the money.

We had a lovely time. Ed was a great guide, the tour had a good mix of informative and funny segments, and the stops were times just right. We loved having some time in Niagara on the lake to get a coffee and a bun and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I'd definitely recommend removing your socks or bringing cheap flip flops for the boat ride - your socks and shoes will get soaked! Thanks very much to Ed for a great day out.

Great Tour! Our guide, Eddie, was awesome. He's lived in the area for 57 years and knew a lot about everything
He told us many stories about all the history of the region on our drive to the falls as well as nice tips and tricks to enjoy our time at the falls to the max. Our driver Harvey navigated the coach bus through the roads in downtown Toronto, Niagara on the Lake, and at the falls with ease.
The stop on the way, in Niagara on the Lake, was very nice, the town is very charming with an interesting history. The buildings are all historic and create a unique atmosphere in the town. It was an absolute pleasure to walk through the town and enjoy the local bakery.
The falls themselves were beathaking, and the boat tour brings you so close to the falls. It feels like you're right at the bottom. With that being said, the boat is surprisingly stable. There are multiple excellet vantage points and lots of activities in the town. With around 3 hours to spend at the falls (approx, 30 minutes of which would be taken up by the boat tour), there is lots of time to see everything.
We were exceptionally lucky with elements that the tour can not control, such as lovely weather and no traffic on the way there or back. This did allow us to have an extra stop at the whirlpools to see the exceptionally rapid natural whirlpool downstream from the falls.
Overall, it was a great tour, and I highly recommend it!

I have a flight leaving at 6.30 pm. Are any tours from Toronto- Niagara Falls suitable and is it ok if I bring my travelling backpack and return me to the airport or enough time to get to the airport from the return destination?
Written February 23, 2020
Hi meaney mum, our trip to Niagra left from the city, not the airport, so you need to factor in that journey plus pre flight requirements. It involved a minibus from approx 8.30/9.00 am, but returned at approx 5.00/5.30pm.
It would be too risky if you have a flight departure at 6.30pm, and we used a highly recommended tour company. Any traffic probs would mess you up completely.
