Maryam was super informative and gave lots of interesting facts about the history of the distillery District.
Whilst there was lots of information, I felt at times maybe too much talking and standing around rather than seeing. I did like that we got to go into some of the buildings though.
There were only 5 in our group and that was really good as it felt quite intimate and you could hear everything being said. The tour lasted about an hour and 10 minutes and I felt the price was reasonable for the content.
The chocolate tasting at the end is novelty but doesn't really link to the tour. Maybe a shot of whiskey would make more sense!

I loved my experience of the Distillery District Walking Tour. Even though I have lived in the area for years I found the tour valuable to learn more about the history of this part of Toronto. I would recommend this tour to someone visiting the city or to those living in the area that want to learn more about their neighbourhood.

We live in the GTA, but wanted to do something fun and touristy on Easter weekend. Traveling with my parents who are seniors as well as my 2 tween children, we were taken back to the beginnings of Toronto. Isaac did an amazing job, educating us on history with good humour: informative and entertaining! The tour was both indoors and outdoors. I’ve been to Distilleries District so many times, but never really knew the history. With this new knowledge, the flat iron building and area names now take on a new meaning . We really enjoyed this experience. Would recommend to both tourists and locals, alike!

It was a beautiful location but we couldn't hear the tour guide, even when I was standing right next to her. We enjoyed 60% of it but there was 40% of it where we we just looking at paintings and the guide was talking about some details of those paintings (most of which were on plaques). For the price tag and location, expected more.

Just took this tour today and it was absolutely lovely! Our tour guide Erik Bell was not only friendly and witty but EXTREMELY knowledgeable of Toronto's history. Pointing out things in the bricks and walls around the distillery, telling in depth story's of the artwork. Even hooking us up with some sweets and the history of them at the end!!!
Bonus for you if you go around this time because you get a bit of Xmas history too.

The tour was very informative and fun. Our tour guide David made the tour very explanatory and interactive and also made sure we were not bored at all. The way he explained the history of the district in a flow without any hesitation was quite impressive. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.
The company was also very nice, I couldn’t make it on my first reservation and was provided with a refund which I think was really nice of the company. And I was welcomed to my second reservation well!

Took the walking tour on a drizzly weekday in March. It was the slow season for tours, apparently, because it was just the guide, Jason, and my son and me. We explored the historic Victorian style architecture, home of the once-mighty but now-defunct Gooderham and Worts Distillery.
We got a good overview of the history of the company, and some interesting stories of its colorful past. The tour includes a visit to some of the local businesses now inhabiting the space, such as a brewery, and a boutique chocolatier, (where a sample of their wares is included).
The tour price is easy on the budget, and a great way to fill a coupl eof hours in Toronto.

The visit to the distillery district with guide Nicole was very interesting! The neighborhood is very pretty and it is nice to discover it with more explanations about its history and its evolution over the last 200 years. The tour is outdoors indoors, which was convenient for staying generally dry on this rainy day. Nicole was also able to recommend restaurants in Toronto for those not familiar with the city.
THANKS !

Nicole was our guide. She was very knowledgable and interesting. She answered all of our questions. She accommodated the pace that we needed. We brought friends along and you’re never sure when you recommend something to someone else what the experience is going to be like. All four of us enjoyed this very much.

Hello
We are traveling with a toddler can we take him on this tour?
Written July 6, 2019
Hello I would say not particularly toddler friendly- a bit boring for an hour, not interactive enough for a young child:)

How long in distance and time
Written September 20, 2018
The distance covered was probably no more than 4 city blocks within 2 hours. I don't know if there are are tours on Sundays but if you check the Viator website it might have that information.
