    Great photo opportunities
We booked this on their website for a Christmas Day at 10:00am. I was surprised that they were opened. When we went in there was 10 of us. We went from room to room taking pictures. The staff were as very friendly. They explained some of the illusions and took our picture. It took 45 minutes to get through. There was an area to do some puzzles. We ended up buying a few in the gift shop at the front of the store $16 each. There is a room where you can hang up your coat and leave your belongs but it’s not their responsibility if something gets taken. This was a great experience and I only wished it were bigger. But being that it’s downtown I can understand their issue with the space.

    Underrated
If you enjoy optical illusions and scientific phenomena in general, you will find this place AMAZING! It's small. Take your time - even if you go through every exhibit methodically it will only take you about an hour and a quarter to get through, but it's excellent entertainment value for those who like such things. Get there early or go on a weekday to avoid crowds and bring your camera!

    A fun hour or two.
We really enjoyed the museum. Some fun exhibitions of optical illusions and also interactive pieces as well with clear explanations of how the effects were achieved. Hints of where the best spots to take photos from are dotted around. Staff were really friendly and helpful. (They also were happy to offer to take photos.)

    Awful
Booked time slot on line, showed up to be told that it was still processing but they were sold out so no other options. So we were told go home. 3 hour drive. Sad little girl. Thanks so much.

Research photos online before you go
We had a really good time here. It was made extra fun by the fact that it was Halloween season, and wearing outfits/masks added an extra level of fun. I see a lot of similar reviews of this not being worth it. I would disagree. To make the most of the trip, I would suggest that you look at the photos others have published, so you know what to expect, and how to take a good/funny photo. Otherwise, if you go into this blind, I could see one missing a lot. Despite how physically small this place is, they do cram in a lot. The free coat-check was appreciated. We arrived for opening at 10:00am on a Saturday, and this place was pretty packed shortly after 10am. Perhaps consider going on a weekday. It helps to have 3 people or more, for taking photos. Although there are staff on hand to assist you with, they are not always available. The only reason I knocked off a star in the rating is because of their scam Groupon (at least at the time of writing). For some reason they listed t heir Groupon in US dollars, and they do not accept any Groupon promotions (e.g., 20% or 30% off). This means it is actually cheaper to purchase the item directly from their website than it is from a Groupon. We spent 45 minutes here.

    Very interesting and fun
You need to go with someone as the experiences in some cases require more than one person to appreciate them and take photos.

    Fun!
Loved it! Took my niece here. She had a great time. Staff were nice to help us take pics. It’s small, but enjoyable. Took away some fun pictures and memories. I’d recommend if looking for something interesting to do but don’t have a lot of time. We hopped onto st Lawrence market right after which is next door for snacks and deserts.

Fun time on a rainy day
We went on a rainy day. This was such a cool experience. Combines the art of illusions with some great, hilarious photos and the opportunity to use your brain. Highly recommended you stop by this gem

Way too expensive for what it is. It took 30 minutes tops to go through and cost around $55 for 2 people. The best part was the guy that showed us some card tricks. He was awesome.

Fun, but much smaller than expected
Took my teenager to this. I was firs surprised at how small of a place it is, we finished the whole thing in 35 minutes. So it's a little pricy given how small and limited of an experience it is. That being said, we really enjoyed ourselves and it's very interactive. The vortex tunnel was completely dark when we went through it (later realized they had forgotten to turn on the spinning lights). We tried it again when it was lit up - yowza, cool experience, but watch out if you are sensitive to dizziness or vertigo! The teenager loved it. So overall it was a fun experience, but smaller and shorter than expected.

    Good experience but short
Fun place but as other reviews have stated, it's a bit pricey for the experience. We went with our teenager and were through everything in half an hour. Families with young kids might spend more time on certain exhibits, but even then it's probably 1 hour max. Staff was friendly and they were very proactive with their Covid precautions, getting everyone to sanitize u[on entry and frequently cleaning surfaces.

    Not worth the money
How disappointing, especially for the $28 fee. I wish I had read the reviews. The place was so small and we were there about 20 minutes. It is SOOO not worth the money.

Sweet little museum with fun illusions
A short and sweet place to visit - I'd recommend one hour. Bring your phone or camera as it truly is a place for instagramable photos. There are also a bunch of puzzles - that if you wanted to complete might take another hour. But to see the sights and tour the site - one hour is plenty.

Fun experience. Was done in about 25 minutes.
Place is quite small and takes no where near as long as advertised to walk around.

This is a fun thing to add to your day as a random booking but is not must see at all.

Staff were very friendly and described some illusions to us.

Cool concept and definitely had some cool spaces. Gets crowded really fast, with LOTS of kids running around screaming. Even without the chaos, the space is pretty small, and wasn’t worth the $26/person ticket price in my opinion. Spent about 30min inside.

Employees were so kind and attentive!.....BUT the place itself was the size of my kitchen/living room. Exhibits were very basic and not very entertaining. For the price I was extremely disappointed. Shouldn't be called museum...this felt like junior high students slapped this together! I can't believe they are in business!

Not bad; some really great exhibits and a few just ok exhibits, but not a whole LOT of exhibits. Some you can see online and in books, but it's better to experience them in-person. It's not a big place. My 13 yr old son and I got through everything in 30 min. but we enjoyed ourselves.

Absolutely amazing with the highlights being the infinity room/well and various light fill roomed that left us off kilter and amazed. Perspective images were superb. Even the more basic illusions, including an 'eyes following' you Einstein display were excellent. All in all, an hour well spent.

Meh. Just meh.
Unless you're all about "taking pics for the 'gram"... this isn't for you. We were fortunate enough to have gotten free passes.

And even still felt like we could've done something better for the little time we were there (you can be in and out in 30 minutes when its not busy)

There was even a spot where you can do wooden puzzles, just like the ones you can buy at a game shop. The cost of the entry fee can buy you 2 of these puzzles.

Best display: lights tunnel and twinkle room
Cons: everything else

In short, if you like taking photos that can trick the eye, go here.

(You can improve your experience by hitting up your local dispensary first... wink wink)

Fun for around 45 minute visit, best in groups of 4 or more to share the fun. During our visit, the majority of visitors were teenagers or young couples, but this should appeal to all ages.
Felt a little smaller than we expected for the money paid, was good fun but would need to avoid at peak periods

I was so excited to visit here as We have been to other illusion museums and those were great fun. It is too small and few illusions as compared to Florida and California. Only one floor and hardly 20 min of tour. Good but not worth the money. Toronto one was not up to the expectations.

Most of the illusion stations were entertaining , but I expected way more for the price of admission . We went through all of the exhibits in about 20 minutes and then hung around explaining how the illusions worked to other customers

Great illusion design. I enjoyed to be standing next to my friend as a giant in one of the displays. And I also enjoyed the illusion that made us feel dizzy
