    Wonderful time!
Fantastic! Went with our 5 year old grandson. The recommended time for viewing was 90 minutes, we spent around 4 hours! Loved Niagara Falls, seeing Clifton Hill and Niagara on the Lake. The fireworks and show on Canada Day at the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa was great. Seeing Terry Fox dip his prosthetic foot in the Atlantic and the monument to him brought back memories and was meaningful to our grandson who participated in his school's Terry Fox run last fall. The staff were approachable and knowledgeable. Fun to see future areas under construction and learning how the cars and trucks operate. Some whimsical little scenes we loved: flying saucer and aliens on the roof of the TTC headquarters, monster breaking through the highway. Finding Maurice the Moose was fun! Will go again!

    Completely swept off my feet
When I was visiting Little Canada for the first time, I was not hoping to be around for more than 1/2 an hour. However, when I started to go through the miniature displays of different major cities across major provinces, I was blown away by the technologically advanced implementation of the displays as well as how well they were designed (sometimes 3D printed and painted by their team!!) and described through all the plaques on each miniature model. This tour is an unexpected hidden gem, exceedingly worth its ticket price and the time one would spend with friends/family going through the place (I ended up being there for 2 and a half hours for the record). It’s a very good way to plan some important trips you can be making around different parts of Canada depending on one’s likings and interests. There is so much to explore in the country and this tour provides the necessary background to be able to relate to the uniqueness of various natural and mad-made structures present in different cities across provinces in Canada. The ‘Where’s Maurice’ activity is a must while going through the displays as it keeps the interests spiked and also let’s one go through necessary details to be able to realize the value coming from this tour. I am looking forward to the addition of more miniature displays to the existing gallery for my future visits. Totally coming back again for more.

Little Canada is the best experience!!
I took my mom for her first visit and she is 93yrs. I had to drag her out after 3.5hrs as they were closing soon... she said she will be buying an annual pass. This is a fantastic way to learn a "little" bit about Canada with amazing and authentic replicas of some of Canada's best known Big/Little landmarks. There are select plaques throughout with explanations of the history and/or significance. There is also a scavenger hunt in each section for Maurice the Moose, and other relevant cultural symbols based on the time of year/special event. The Maurice placements and clues change every few months and so it keeps you on your toes for repeat visits. It is also a riot to watch "Giants" of all ages hunting for and then celebrating their Maurice sightings. There is also a lot of humor, with movie and book references - that will amaze and often make you laugh out loud. The staff are great and will happily answer all your questions and also show you some of their favorite 'surprises/oddities'. The best experience for all ages!!!

Not to be missed -- Really!
I first went a year ago -- absolutely loved it. Have been talking it up and recommending it to everyone since then and just went for the 2nd time. It is a wonderful experience. The models, cars, trains etc.. are beyond description in detail. In addition the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were there each time for three hours but you could easily spend more time. If at all possible go on a week day -- it gets crowded on weekends but even then you never feel rushed. Make sure to visit the "command center" and the "art lab" -- there too the staff will engage and spend their time demonstrating and talking to you about what ever you want to know. Final Word -- GO!

    Best Day Ever!
Little Canada was AMAZING! I've always wanted to visit after hearing about it and finally got the chance to go. My partner and I were expecting small tables with little buildings but were blown away by how big Little Canada is. I was surprised to see the GTA represented and my favourite parts were the "common/mundane" things like strip malls or gas stations and the attention to detail. I loved the moving parts and seeing the team explain how it works. You can stare at one spot for a long time, there is so much going on and lots of fun additions to each place. 100% recommend!

    A Proud Canadian!
What a fabulous Toronto sight to see! So well done! The detail of people, architecture and design of each display and the lights, sound, video and motion of trains, boats, people was truly amazing! I particularly liked the Ottawa Parliament Building display….the video images of all the Canadian provinces against the Parliament Building while playing the National anthem “O Canada” and the finale fireworks were SO wonderful! I say along with the anthem and was just so proud to be a Canadian. We are so Blessed as a country in so many ways. With all the negativity going on in the media, news, and particularly in Politics today, it was a breathe of fresh air to visit Little Canada today…..made me once again remember the wonder and awe of our landscape and its people. Thank you Little Canada for making me feel SO Canadian today!

Great visit! Lots of interesting miniatures and mechanisms, loved the information panels as well. Missed having some maps to ground some of the places modelled in actual geography , but overall highly recommend.

    Amazing miniatures
We booked this on New Years Eve at 10:00am on their website. It costed $36 online. It’s $40 when you buy tickets over there. There was only a few of us at that time. It got busier as the day went on. The staff were very friendly. They walked around telling us about the different exhibits. We spent an hour and 40 minutes here. We stopped off at the gift shop and cafe and bought a peppermint latte, gingerbread cookies and almond croissant for $22. I love the exhibits of Niagara Falls, Quebec and Ottawa. They have lighting from day to night every 9 minutes. And there’s sound effects. The fire works going off at Parliament Hill was amazing. This place is adding 3 more exhibits soon. We stopped off where they make the exhibits and two nice ladies answered our questions while making trees. I will definitely go back to see the new exhibits in the future.

The title "it's small" might be obvious when describing a miniature world. But there's more to this! You see, "Little Canada" is not nearly finished! At present (September 2022) the exhibition offers only a few areas of Canada: Toronto, Niagara, Golden Horseshoe, Ottawa and Quebec. This means that several very important areas are not finished yet, while the visitor does pay full price.

That being said, the quality of the displays is excellent. It's obvious that the builders put their heart, soul and talents in it. The items on display are beautiful, sometimes ingenious and sometimes downright funny (there's a Little Canada in Little Canada and if you look real close it has a Little Canada in it!). Also, there's a hilarious moose hunt where visitors have to locate a red moose in the various displays. This is not only fun to do, but also makes you really see the landscapes and not just quickly browse trough them.

So should you visit Little Canada? Yes, but the longer you'll wait the bigger the chance that another area opens up and there will be more to see. Right now, it's small in every sense of the word.

When my husband & I first visited this wonderful exhibit we were so impressed that we turned in our tickets & purchased a family passport. We have since been back with 2 of our grandsons (ages 6 & 8) who loved everything so much we bought Little Me’s for them so that they will always be a permanent part of the landscape. They were so excited to see the miniature subways running under the bridges & through the tunnels, the cars, trucks & buses running along the highways, the Go trains & Via trains running on the tracks. They loved watching the Rogers Centre open & close, and pointing out the many iconic buildings they recognized in the city of Toronto which is their home. Our 6 yr. old was so mesmerized by the film on the front of the Parliament Buildings followed by fireworks that he asked to have his Little Me put on the lawn there. The scavenger hunt to find the 6 moose hidden throughout the displays was a fun add on for younger kids. Each area flips from day to night so plan to spend 1 to 1.5 hours here if you want to see as many details as possible. Be sure to chat with the employees who are making some the miniatures as well as the ones who will explain the technology behind the vehicles. The whole exhibit is so detailed that I can’t wait to go again to see what we might have missed in our previous trips.

We are recent immigrants to Toronto(and canada) and were quite excited to visit Little Canada as we’ve never been before.

We took our entire family, 2 adults, and 2 kids(5 & 10) the week after Christmas. No lineup and we appreciated the free coat check.

I think we spent about an hour here, my 5 year old when through the exhibit much more slowly than my 10 year old did.

The different regions were all really cool and unique to look at. The Niagara region is probably the best, and the first exhibit, so comparatively speaking some of the other regions weren’t as impressive as this one.

But some of the features and thought put into the regions were so thoughtful and detailed. I loved the raptors game being broadcast in the stadium.

We all really enjoyed our time here, the only caveat is the price per ticket is quite high, very cost prohibitive for many people. I think a 25%-50% price reduction in ticket cost would draw in a lot more visitors.

The day started out around 8:30 when I got up I started organizing our day. I filled out the disclaimer so that when we got there for the 11 o’clock workshop we would have smooth sailing. Liam‘s workshop started at 11 AM and he decorated to moose and Zoya’s workshop started at 2:30 where she would do a miniature room miniature bedroom. I had a good chat with Kelly she was in the workshop room and she was able to introduce me to Jean Louis who is the founder of Little Canada I was able to appreciate some of the inspiration behind the pieces some of the forward thinking and just their work in progress as they were impacted over the summer holidays and again over winter because of the omicron they weren’t able to have the opening that they had desired for a new company in the heart of Yonge and Dundas. Aylin was able to explain some of the features behind the devils punch bowl all the colours on the rock formation that attested at Ice Age on the different ramifications of each colour it was a truly inspiring chat and we also realize that the two Towers at Burnhamthorpe and Horontario are called Absolute World although a lot of people refer to them as Marilyn Monroe Towers! There is so much to see and learn and explore at Little Canada!

I was a bit reluctant to take a five and six year old to a miniature exhibition thinking that they would tire quickly. I was 100% wrong. Both of my kids LOVED Little Canada (and so did my husband and I).
Between the search and find for the moose in each location, the moving trains and different moving parts (my kids both loved a small seesaw in a playground), and the locations they are familiar with in Toronto, the kids were totally engaged. We spent 90 minutes in the exhibition and my son would have stayed longer so he could watch the trains move through the exhibits. We went first thing in the morning and it wasn't very busy so it really felt like we got a full experience. I loved that they have a railing the kids could stand on to get closer and see more of the exhibit.
Every employee we saw engaged with us - they were extraordinarily kind, showing the kids all kinds of hidden and interesting things (the Grinch on Mount Crumpit in Petit Quebec, the puffins in Little East Coast, and the teeny, tiny chickens in Niagara).
The crew are working on building Little North and Little West Coast. I was also appreciative that they began our visit with a land acknowledgement, I noticed Indigenous elements throughout the exhibition, and one of the employees mentioned that they are consulting with First Nations to make sure that the Little North exhibition will be accurate and not appropriation.
I think this is the kind of experience that every time we go, I will see something new and different. From the transition of day to night, the soundscapes that amplify the experience (loved hearing the GO train bell when it pulled into the station), and the attention to detail...this is truly a unique and fun filled experience for the whole family.

Went to Little Canada with my kids (5, 3 and baby) on a Saturday morning in December. I wasn't sure my kids would appreciate the model displays so was pleasantly surprised to see my kids showing interest in climbing up to the steps on railing to peer into all the little displays. I would describe this place as similar to going to see model trains but way.cooler and intricate. I appreciated all the little detail they put into the tiny models including little minuscule chickens that would cluck around on a farm! The admissions fees are a bit steep for what was available at this moment but I think it would be worth paying for when they complete the other planned areas (ie. Little Rockies, Little Prairies, Little North, etc.). In terms of kid interest, it helps if the kids know about the areas ahead of time so they know what they're looking at and can appreciate the details. My kids have only been to Toronto, Ottawa and Niagara Falls so sections like Little Montreal were of less interest to them. Overall a fun visit though and a different kind of kid thing to do in the city!

I went with my family there. Not only kids but adults also enjoyed this wonderful attraction. Each miniature detailed is beautifully captured. I like the vehicles moving around without colliding with others.
One only suggestion- if they make the entry ticket a bit nominal for everyone so that more and more people can enjoy this attraction. Else 5 stars 😄

If you still have any sense of childlike wonder left in you, Little Canada is best summed up as "a few hours of pure happiness". I've visited this place twice, and without fail, every one of my friends who visited with me were wearing huge grins the entire time. It's hard to explain why a bunch of tiny models of Canada brought us so much joy, but they did!

I'm a tourist visiting from the UK, but I loved my first visit to Little Canada so much I ended up bringing some other local Canadian friends so I had an excuse to visit it a second time - they really enjoyed it as well! It's a credit to the creators and maintainers that I've spent so long there and was still discovering new secrets. Everybody out of the 4 people I ended up visiting with *really* enjoyed themselves!

If you're a tourist I can definitely recommend Little Canada. My Canadian friends seemed to love finding Canadian landmarks and details, so I imagine it's also a lot of fun for any locals looking to kill time on an afternoon.

There's tonnes of details everywhere, and lots of moving parts and soundscapes that make it feel alive. The staff and volunteers seem to really love what they're doing there. There's lots of places indoors to sit and nice toilets, which is important as you'll probably need them. There's also lots of opportunities to see behind the scenes and ask questions of the creators - everyone seemed really friendly both times I visited and was happy to talk about the creation process at length!

Your description of Little Canada is simply heartwarming! It's clear that the experience evoked a strong sense of childlike wonder and pure happiness, not only for you but for your friends as well. The fact that you visited twice and brought local Canadian friends speaks volumes about its charm. Your recommendation for both tourists and locals is a great testament to its universal appeal. Thanks for sharing your enthusiastic and detailed review!

A Wonderful way to share our beautiful country with out of town/ out of country guests. Everything is set up in such a creative and imaginative an quirky way. The talent involved in putting it together and the enthusiasm the creators have for their projects is infectious. We spent 3 delightful hours their with guests from Austria and it was such a fun way to also teach them things about the charm of Canada. Everyone should see this and use it as a way to help guests to love Canada as much as we do.
Thank you to everyone involved in this project

I cannot rate highly enough the amazing time we had at Little Canada! There has really been so much time and effort put into this attraction; it really does show.
This was such a fun visit - lots of tiny Canadian cities, complete with moving cars, chickens and firework display. You really could spend hours looking at every tiny house, car, hotel, boat etc and still miss plenty of the detail.
The staff were also so friendly and their love for Little Canada also shone through when chatting to us and other guests.
Words really can't describe, I recommend just going and seeing for yourself - you won't regret!!
