About
Being an Islander all my life, with my family having deep roots here, you will not only learn about the history and geography of Charlottetown and the Island as we walk through the historic streets but also hear many personal anecdotes. Some of these will be about the history of the Kelly family while others will be will be more personal. Whether your from here or from away I think you will leave with a deeper appreciation of the place I call home.

I did the ghost tour with three other adults and thouroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide stayed in character for the entire tour and his persona really added to the incredibly detailed and entertaining stories that he told. I would highly recommend the tour!

Jamie the tour guide is a local with a wealth of knowledge, experience and personal anecdotes to share. Every aspect of this experience was first rate, making our September 2022 walking tour of Charlottetown one of the highlights of our Montreal to Boston cruise. You won't be disappointed.

If you enjoy history, as I do, then you will love this walking tour. It traversed the city and focused on the unique architecture and the history leading to its creation. I found our tour guide, Mr. Kelly, very informative and easy to chat with.

One of the best walking tours we've been on during our years of travelling. Jamie was a knowledgeable, friendly and engaged guide who clearly loves both what he does and where he lives - and willingly answered a wide range of questions about all things PEI, not just historic Charlottetown. He also gave us two great tips for restaurants (one in Charlottetown and one in Point Prim) that were spot-on and easily our two most favourite meals during our stay on the island. Highly recommend this tour.

Jamie is a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. His tour has just the right amount of historical detail without being too in the weeds. We took a private tour as we have a couple of slow movers in our family as well as a wheelchair user. Jamie was very accomodating to our pace and customized the tour to suit our needs. We have taken walking city tours with private guides in many cities and Jamie was just wonderful and definitely loves his job. Our family would highly recommend spending a few hours with Jamie to learn more about PEI. You won't regret making this outing part of your vacation!!

This was a great walking tour of downtown Charlottetown. Tour guide is a native and takes time to answer any questions one has on Charlottetown, PEI, and Canada while showing different areas of downtown. We went on a warm day but there was plenty of indoor time. Recommend walking shoes over sandals as this tour can be closer to 2.5 hours but is well worth it!

We booked our walking tour with Jamie from his website walkthewalkpei and we were very happy with the tour. Even though it was raining the morning of our tour, Jamie was prepared with extra umbrellas and tried to time his stops to keep us out of the rain. Very informative and pleasant experience overall.

Jamie was a delightful tour guide. He was knowledgeable and, as a life-long Islander, gave us an insider's perspective. The tour was paced well and covered all the key sites in town. He also accommodated us getting to a show on time without compromising any of the tour. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I, my Dad and my uncle spent a very enjoyable morning walking the historic Charlottetown downtown with Jamie in June 2022. As a local, Jamie was a wealth of knowledge, he provided lots of history, background and personal stories to make our tour unique, interesting and very enjoyable! We felt like we were walking around downtown with an "old friend"! Jamie allowed us to tour at our own pace, we weren't rushed, and he answered all of our questions and allowed us to really get to know Charlottetown. It was our first time to Charlottetown and Jamie's tour on our first day in town started our two week East Coast vacation on a very high note!!
Thanks Jamie!!

Jamie is a descendant of PEI residents and has lived on the island his entire life, so he is knowledgeable and reliable. He is personable and tolerant of questions and stops for photos. He took us a variety of special places in the town and paced it to include restrooms. When the time worked, he was flexible to include a tour of Government House. My husband and I were very happy we had booked the tour.

Hi, we want to book your walking tour. However our cruise ship will arrive at port at 9am on Aug 28th. Considering the time to disembark the ship and walk to your meeting place, is 9:30am tour too tight for us to catch it?
