- 1977ronaldj00Two languages takes timeBecause everything is said in French then repeated in English there's not enough time to learn much more than your location. Hop-on is convenient. Choosing tour in a single language or hearing a recording would allow time to learn more about the city.
- 744cw00First time visitor to QCI was appalled at the lack of acknowledgment and front-facing presence of the Indigenous commumities and heritage in and around Montreal. I appreciate and understand that QC is strongly rooted in their Québécois heritage but it's 2023 - time to take ownership of it all. The indigenous story needs to be worked into the tour. Begin with a land acknowledgment at minimum.
- keekin5000Disappointing tourWe took the bus to get an overall view of the city. That is where the positive part ended. Our guide was Michel. He spent more time talking about his time in jail, getting tickets from the police, his apartment, etc. He was very opinionated about the casino strikers, cemetery strikers, indigineous homeless people, to the point of making derogatory references about them. This was very inappropriate and was uncalled for. I wanted to hear more about Montreal history, architecture and info about the areas we were in. This aspect seemed to be very lacking. I did not feel like I learned very much about the city itself. Overall it was a disappointing tour.
- Jodi H00Good choiceRobert was an excellent guide, funny and full of information. Bus driver did am excellent job navigating last minute road closures too.
- jle83100DisappointedThis was overall a disappointment but I would like to recognize our first tour guide, 10 am bus, Monday,Sept 18. I cannot remember her name but I do remember, Dominic, our driver, who was also great. My husband and I hopped on/off several times over two day period, so also received tours from other guides.Hands down, she was the best with what she shared and how she provided the information. It was only after hearing the other guides that we realized just how fortunate we were to have her for our first tour. Please thank her again for us! Now, the reason why it was more of a disappointment compared to Hop On/Off in other cities is that none of the guides provided information on other sites to see, to build up the overall value of Montreal tourism. Things were mentioned but nothing was recommended.
- G2561UYjohnp00MehThe bus we were on was shabby and the ride was stop and start with admittedly heavy traffic. Tour cut short and passengers left at Dorchester Square before 5 pm stopping time.
- reneeauer00Money well spent! This is an excellent tour to do and see the best of Montreal. Our tour guide, Bridgette, was marvelous and thorough. We did the whole route on Day 1 and on Day 2, we hopped on and off in old Montreal.
- rn195600Hopping with 8 Gal PalsHad the pleasure of riding along with 2 excellent guides !! Lots of knowledge, a few jokes along the way… very hospitable and friendly to me and my 7 gal pals 👯♀️ Merci’
- ronaldsB8785AD00One day is enough. Upgrade buses and sound system.Should be a one-day excursion only and charge a little less. Older buses were a noisy nightmare. New bus was terrific. Guides need to be more brief - part of enjoying the ride is NOT having endless banter. The need for two languages makes it a constant noise . Maybe upgrade the sound systems too. One guide was great - He knew his history well, had a mellow voice and even provided some historical pictures in a binder he held up. He did not ramble on about his personal life. Very helpful to people with mobility issues. Why not tour the Expo grounds as well?
- ditto172100Great overview of MontrealReturned to places highlighted on tour. Found the Museum of Fine Arts exceptional. Definitely recommend the Hop on-Hop off service to tour the city.
- John M00Montreal is a beautiful City! 70 degrees in September!Great experience! Lots of landmark building to see! Fantastic Guide too! Great Route taken by this bus! Churches, Museums, Old Town and the Harbor! Thank You!
- panthermp202300Unacceptable - please consider another car rental company (P.S maybe Almo)Service was unacceptable to say the least. This rating would be negative if it allowed for it. We arrived at the airport with a pre-booking so there should have been no surprises to Hertz when we arrived. We stood in line for 30 minutes before we even found out that it would be another 1 1/2 to 2 more hours wait for a car that we had already pre-booked? There were several other people waiting for their rentals and appeared to have been there for several hours. When we asked how this was justified they said it was an influx of people landing to pick up cars?? How would you not know how many cars you would need when anyone we spoke to had booked ahead of time. We indicated that this was unacceptable and a disgrace. The attendant was pleasant and knew what was happening was not good practice and agreed to patiently wait for us to walk over a few feet to another car rental company to see if we could get a car from them in short order (thank you to that Hertz attendant). The other car company had no problems with providing us a car within 10 minutes of inquiry and they also upgraded the type of vehicle we pre-booked through Hertz and also gave it to us for $300 less total then what was originally quoted by Hertz for a smaller car and we were on our way within 10 minutes. When leaving to get into our car from the other rental company at least 30 people sat waiting around the Hertz kiosk for there vehicle to hopefully arrive. Also on return of our vehicle from the other company there was still a huge line and waiting area filled with people 2 weeks after our experience so it defiantly was not an influx in arrivals as they stated. Hertz service is completely unacceptable and ignorant. Time to sell to someone who has more class and respect for those supporting the business. I will never booked through Hertz again and I will be sure to tell others of my experience and recommend they don't as well. Thank you once again to the Hertz attendant who had the moral compass to wait to see if we could find better service before finalizing our rental. Hertz Management at the Montreal QC airport location should be ashamed otherwise
- 133geoffg00A bad experience. On arriving in Montreal we decided to see the city on a hop on/off bus. All though expensive all was fine until we got back on the bus after visiting St Joseph Oratoire. The bus drove back to a part of the city we did not recognise and told was terminating. We tried asking the driver and the tour guide directions but they were to interested in counting out their tips and laughing. The experience has left a bad taste and I would certainly not be bullied in to giving a tip again.
- Philip W00Very ordinaryWe did not enjoy this experience over very bumpy Montréal streets with an English commentary from a person whose English was not their first language from the bus level below that was indistinct and of little value. No headphones supplied. The route traveled was not as per the map supplied so planning hop off stops was difficult. Not worth the money or time.
- peaceseeker5800Perfect way to figure out this beautiful area!Loved being able to view the highlights to make our plans for our few days here! Safe, warm, and welcoming! Hope to return in the future!

This was my third time on the tour, each time hosting different visitors in Montreal. Our guide was well-informed and entertaining to listen to. You can tell she really enjoyed her work. After the tour she gave us personalized tips and answered all our question. I highly recommend this tour to visitors who don’t have a lot of time in Montreal.

During Montreal’s 89 degree heatwave combined with high humidity, an air conditioned city tour was perfect. Originally we we’re going to take the Hop On and Hop Off tour until I read the mixed reviews and complaints of broken air conditioners. We had a great driver/tour guide who expertly drove the big bus through city traffic while at the same time giving us loads of city details in both English and French. The tour was 3 1/2 hours and had multiple picture taking stops and one extended restroom break near Notre Dame. It was perfect for an overview of Montreal and a respite from the heat!

Hotel pickup was great as we had just arrived the day before and were still not familiar with the city. Good way to see the sights and descriptions were very informative. The rest stop was nice, clean with limited concessions

We waited for the bus for half hour. They just didn’t pick us up at the location agreed. No reply to our emails, they just took the money and didn’t bother to contact us to agree an alternative. Now we asked for a refund and still no reply from them. Very unprofessional. Do not use this company!

When you call a day in advance to confirm your reservation they will ask you what hotel you are staying at. They picked us up right at the hotel but they were 30 minutes late. I believe they will do the same for you.

My wife uses a wheelchair. She can still walk short distances and a few steps. She will be able to board the bus. Chair folds up to size larger than a golf bag. Is there room under/in the bus to put it while on the tour?
Is this the same bus that is used for the "hop on/hop off" tour?
Thank you.

My wife uses a wheelchair. She can still walk short distances/ up a few stairs. She would be able board the bus. Chair folds up to same shape (but larger) as a golf bag. Is there anywhere (under/in) the bus that chair will fit, during tour?
Is this the same tour/bus as the "hop-on/hop off" tour? Looking forward to the tour. Thank you
