- monikaesu280 contributionsNoooo Regrets! A MUST!We were sure about riding bikes in the wintertime but we are so happy that we did! The 2-hours passed too quickly …. what a beautiful, show-covered ride. Dyad was the best guide!! Wish we could have gone back out again! A MUST when in Montreal for the winter! 😀Written January 19, 2025

- P8844OVmichaelb0 contributionsA Must-Do when visiting MontrealI was the only one who showed up on the second coldest day or one of the coldest days there (5 degrees Fahrenheit/-15 degrees Celsius), but he still went through with it and offered a single-person ride up Mount Royal—it is very rare for someone to offer such kindness; most people would cancel. He has an amazingly positive attitude, and being around him is just a joy. I really hope he never loses such positivity. Good luck with everything! - Michael BWritten December 29, 2024
- K6981LFstephaned0 contributionsSave your money if no snow on the groundWhile it was cold (about 40 degrees), we had no snow so you can rent a normal bike and easily see the the Park yourself. While David was a super great host, I was expecting to hear more history about the park and city. Also we spent much too much time taking 2 long breaks which provided access to indoor heat. Would have preferred more time on the bike seeing more attractions like St. Joseph Oratory or other spots in the city instead of spending about 40 minutes in breaks. No doubt having snow on the ground would have added to the biking experience, but definitely not worth US$65 for our non-snow experience.Written December 5, 2024
- LauraNdeanKendall0 contributionsWinter e-bike Tour of Mt RoyalWe were in town for the weekend and wanted to take in as much as possible. David’s bike tour of Mt. Royal did not disappoint! Inspite of the cold weather we had a great time exploring! David was always checking to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We stopped for a quick hot beverage in the park and saw all the sights. He is personable and made our tour extra special. I highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to return! Laurie and Karen from Boston!Written November 25, 2024
- FIT4TravelNow0 contributionsFun adventure on the top of Montreal! We had a blast riding the e-bikes around Mount Royal. Would have been a heck of a walk otherwise! David, our guide was super friendly and informative about the sites seen through the park and in the city. We had a bit of a hiccup initially when no one arrived at the meeting point at 10:30 as planned. But we reached out to the tour operator and they were quick to respond and reschedule us for 11:30 due to some unforeseen issues on their part. We went back and met in their building space which is being refurbished. Sadly, the other guests didn’t return, but lucky for us we got a private tour, and the weather ended up being beautiful. Great experience and we’re thankful it worked out. Would recommend. Ask for David. Cheers.Written March 15, 2024

- StPeteKate0 contributionsEasy Way to Explore Mount Royal & See the ViewsMy husband and I had a great time on the Mount Royal fat ebike tour with David. He gave us an overview of the ebikes and time to try them out and get used to them. He even made sure we still wanted to go, as the conditions were ice-y. We were in for it! The trail was beautiful with the morning light coming through the trees, and the views were amazing. Thank you to David for making it a great experience!Written December 28, 2023
- W7274PRbriang0 contributionsFriendly, fun tour with great views!David was very friendly, gave an amazing tour, and even packed us extra gear for the cold weather. We were the only 2 for our session and so it felt very personalized. The e-bikes allowed were easy to use and allowed us to enjoy the wonderful views of the city!Written November 27, 2023
- Susan B0 contributionsFun ActivityThis was lots of fun! All the paths were snow covered and the roads were mostly clear. Temps were about 33 F. You need to wear very warm gloves. Several riders had inadequate ones but our guide, Davyd, was very attentive to everyone being comfortable and was prepared. We would definitely do it again.Written February 19, 2023

- eric l0 contributionsGreat Ebike trip in the snow!We did this on a snowy weekday and it was spectacular! I cannot say enough nice things about our guide, Dave. He even proffered his warmer gloves when he noticed my " throttle thumb" was getting numb! Great trip; great scenery. Mount Royal is not to be missed!Written February 3, 2023
- Andrea V0 contributionsVery fun and exciting!I took the eBike ride during winter after years of not riding any bike or similar and it went great! David is a wonderful person and cares a lot about your safety. Before starting, he gave me a helmet, goggles and gloves for the ride. We went uphill to Mont Royal while snowing and he constantly made sure I felt comfortable on the bike, that I wasn’t cold and helped me when the terrain was difficult to cross (because of the snow). He also let me made some stops to take pictures and even offered to record a video of me riding the bike. On top of the hill, there’s a building with a Café and he gave me plenty of time to get warm and have a hot drink. After returning to the bike shop, they let me use a couple of portable heaters to get my hands and feet warm before leaving. It’s a very exciting experience and I recommend for anyone looking for a fun challenge on winter :)Written January 30, 2023

I went to Montreal for my birthday, and after much deliberation, I decided to kick off the big day with a city tour. It was the best choice I could possibly have made! David is wonderful—warm, wise, attentive, and funny, an expert guide who knows so many fascinating tidbits about his city. There were some new regulations regarding scooters and bikes on city streets; David explained everything clearly and gave us several options for how to proceed. We ended up on e-bikes—and I am SO glad we did! We got to see parts of Montreal we never would have otherwise, with a guide who made us feel safe and kept us smiling. My group couldn’t say enough positive things about him. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to spend a pleasant day zipping around several vibrant neighborhoods, getting a peek "behind the scenes," eating delicious foods, and enjoying the company of David, the superhuman guide!

I highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Montreal, whether it’s the first time you’re visiting the city, or if you’ve been before. My boyfriend and I did the 2pm tour with David and he was absolutely incredible. He explained everything regarding scooter safety very clearly, and took the time to make sure everyone was prepared before we took off. The tour itself is unbelievably enjoyable; I have never taken a scooter tour before, but I will now be checking every city I visit to see if they offer any. We took the tour with a group of 8 other men that came together; with about an hour left in the tour it began to rain, and the other group decided they wanted to finish the tour early. David accommodated them, but also came to my boyfriend and I and offered to continue the tour for just us, as we were weather prepared. We dropped the other guys off and had a more personal end to the tour, which was just fantastic. 1000/10, very highly recommend the tour, and 1000000/10, very very very highly recommend David as your guide. Book this tour now!!!

Our guide David was engaging and knowledgable. A real ambassador for the city. He was very patient and clear in his instructions on how to ride our e-scooters and ensured that every one was up and riding comfortably before the tour set off. He gave clear instructions while we were on the on the road and ensured we negotiated any traffic safely. The scooters are easy to ride and if you are a competent bicycle rider you will have no problems.
Our morning itinerary took us to some marvellous sights in the plateau region of the the city away from busy streets and the tourist haunts. The ride up the mountain to the lookout over the city through the cemetery was a highlight as was the trip to little Italy for bagels and a tour of the fresh fruit market.
Overall a great experience and we are looking at doing a similar tour in Toronto.

Perfect way to experience several of the “must see” attractions in a single morning on an easy ride. We intended to see Mount Royal, Mile End, Plateau, Little Italy, Jean-Talon Market and have St. Viateur Bagels at some point on our trip, so this ride covered a lot of ground in a single activity. We stayed in Old Town and Ubered to the meeting point, but walked home after a full morning ride so that we could experience St. Laurent street as well. Dave, our Guide, was EXCELLENT! He provided comprehensive instruction on the scooters, an orientation to the route and the queuing he would use to guide us at traffic signals and such and a nice little practice run before getting started. He simultaneously and seamlessly provided historical content while herding all of us cats on bikes :-) He knows everyone in town so receives warm reception for the group everywhere you go and is allowed access to places unlikely otherwise accessible. Dave also provided suggestions for post-tour activities and routes allowing for further exploration of the area. Great sense of humor and fun! Best way to get an overview of and a jump start on the things that you will want to see!

Our guide Dave was very informative and efficient. Tour started right on time. First time riding a scooter and felt like we were professionals at the end of the tour. I recommend starting your trip with this tour to see much of the city from a local perspective. My favorite part was Talon Market and meeting local business owners that knew Dave and gave us a little back story about the market. 5/5!! Thank you Dave!

It was great to go on the Formula 1 track and our guide did time to make sure everyone was able to ride the scooters. He said his 1st priority was safety yet we were always expected to go as fast as possible - top speed in many circumstances - that were very safe. For example, on the bridge where there was non electric bikes in the other (tight) lane and especially weaving in and out of heavy traffic and being expected to run red lights. And frequently his information was on bars and weed rather than what we were driving by.

Great way to see Montreal. David is an excellent guide. He has good relationships with people in the community, which makes the tour stops all the more special.
Note: Quebec banned scooters so we had to take ebikes instead, but this was even more fun! The eBikes had enough power to propel us through town and we got to go places where scooters couldn't go, like up the paths of Mont Royal park.
Highly recommend this tour!

Let’s start with our morning tour on 11/6 and showing up 15 minutes early as requested and being ignored and acknowledged because our guide was too busy listening to music on his headphones. Start time came and went and when we went to inquire (he gets a big fat F for communicating) he tells us the other 4 people are late and we have to be patient. Um, ya that’s not the approach you want to say to the couple who got there early. During the actual tour, he berated individuals who were having challenges. The appropriate way would have been to encourage and continue to coach. Never again will I recommend this company.

Watching people try to adapt to the scooters was highly entertaining. In all seriousness, David did a wonderful job making sure that we were all very familiar and safe with our scooters. The mountain was amazing and David was a wealth of knowledge when we were scooting around the city.
