- Adventurer79068700Excellent tour! One of the best experiences while visiting Montreal for the weekend was taking the Montreal mural tour with Gabriela. She is very knowledgeable about the art and artists, friendly, and patiently answered all questions asked by everyone. The mural art is fabulous. I will visit again the Plateau area of Montreal to see new mural art after next June's festival. I highly recommend this tour.
- Max C00Excellent cycling tourI did a cycling tour with Anna which was excellent. The small group size means the tour guide is able to spend their time actually showing you the city rather than corralling a large group which can happen on larger tours. The tour took me to places I never would have found and gave me a great grounding for enjoying my next few days in the city. Nice lunch included too which was able to cater for me being gluten free. Highly recommended.
- donnadK5096VR00A Food Tour that wasn't...The host was a no show and the meeting place restaurant called to tell him there were 4 people waiting on him and gave me the phone. He said he emailed me a time change from 12 -2:00, but I missed it. He was unwilling to refund my money., so I called TA. Since I never confirmed the time change with him the original noon start stayed and TA gave me a full refund.
- GrobiBabes00Best neighbourhood food tour in MontrealReally fun and informative tour of Little Italy, Jean Talon Market and the Latin Quarter. Just the right amount of delicious food, both savoury and sweet bites, and coffee as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Amelia: she was friendly and knowledgeable.
- Companion1045395852300A foodie tour delight!Amelie was a fantastic tour guide, she was vibrant and had a lot of knowledge on the spots she toured us around. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone that wants to eat their way around the city and try the not so ‘standard’ Montreal delicacies!
- Brettimus00Best tours in MontrealWe had a wonderful tour with our guide Amelie. This is not your standard poutine and hot dogs ( which are great too); this takes you off the beaten path. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful ambassador for the city.
- jancX3277MW00Food and FunWonderful tour not only for food but for learning more about this area. Amelie was adorable, engaging and oh so knowledgeable. Thank you for an awesome day!!
- W4099ZDmarys00A Variety of Ethnic TastesMarie was a great guide and we enjoyed eating different cuisines. Food was delicious and plentiful (almost too much) and the fried chicken dinner in the park was a perfect ending
- NancyGLaJolla00The BEST TOUR GUIDE and most delicious way to experience MontréalAlejandra was beyond exceptional in every way !! We had the best, most personalized delicious tour with her!!! Thank you so, so much!!
- codrina18300Rudest customer service EVERRunning late from Toronto to this tour. We called their customer support and asked if they could move us to Thursday. They said, sure, we have availability, but you have to book again. We explained we are running behind schedule the guy on the other hand said "It sucks to be you." Run run run. Rudest company in Monreal. Not sure why they are in business.
- 875debn00Wonderful AfternoonWe had an absolutely fabulous afternoon touring around Little Italy and the surrounding area with Marie. We walked through the local area and Jean-Talon market tasting and smelling food, while Marie passed on her extensive knowledge of the local culture and stories behind the places we ate.
- Q5270GOtomt00Amazing afternoon food tourAmalie was the perfect tour guide. We had a small group of 5 for her tour. Started with a great Salvadoran food favorite and history of this local restaurant. Then we were off for the food and history tour of local area. Little Italy, local market, spices, sorbet, coffee, wonderful food and ending with chocolate. We would highly recommend this tour and if you a lucky enough to have Amalie you will be very pleased.
- jausten36000Fabulous food tour in Montreal.I was on the food walking tour in Montreal. If you love food, and the human stories behind it, this is a fabulous tour. We ate a marvelous variety of different kinds of foods, toured some great neighborhoods, went to the largest market in Montreal and got some great recommendations for other places to go. Marie, our tour guide, was full of information and joie de vivre. Can’t recommend enough.
- Summerlanders201000Excited for more. You can't miss most of the murals all over the area but hearing the backstory makes it a different experience every time you see them. Pascael took us to a few hidden gems and he was personable, knowledgeable, and showed how he loved the art. We're not generally into walking tours but we're so glad we chose to do this one. Now we'd love to come for the mural festival in June!
- robverb00Love the street artAmazing tour of some of Montreal’s murals. Pascoal was very knowledgeable and engaging. We highly recommend this tour.

What is one to do these days to experience culture in a city you're not that familiar with? This was the perfect choice. My husband and I were the only two on this guide through interesting parts of the city that we would not have seen otherwise. It led us through alleys of hidden art and streets filled with color and vibe. The ever-changing landscape of this city is endlessly interesting and invigorating. Our guide Danny was a native of the city and was able to answer a myriad of questions we had ranging from real estate to festivals to food. If I were a local I would want to go on this tour.

We had a fun time touring Montreal with Gabrielle. She was well-informed about her city and spoke in great detail about the city’s history and culture. The spots we saw were unique and showcase various cultural aspects of Montreal - from visiting a very regal Chapel to checking out the distinct part of Chinatown and learning the history about it. It truly made a memorable first impression for visiting Montreal for the first time and would recommend her tour to first time visitors. She also gave us an astounding recommendation to Reuben’s deli - best smoking meat sandwhiches we ever had and highly recommend paying thrm a visit!

Our tour guide Mel lead us in a nicely balanced tour - a beautiful church, lots of art, murals, the underground, Chinatown, shopping and dining recommendations, sampling a Chinese bun and later some iced coffee, and more. Mel was very knowledgeable and I got so much more out of my time than I would have exploring on my own. She walked at a reasonable pace and I was able to keep up, and I don't walk fast. My Fitbit says it was about 7,000 steps, so if you are up to walking that far, I highly recommend this tour.

I wish I had done this tour my first day in Montreal, because Danny our guide really made me feel welcome and comfortable walking through this enormous and beautiful city! Not only was he personable and friendly but obviously very knowledgeable about current events and past history of Montreal. The pit stops were a good mix of Montreal history and unconventional hidden gems that you would only get from a local. After giving his unique and individualized spiel, Danny gave ample time to group members to explore a little on their own before bringing us back and moving on to the next sight to see. I’m very satisfied I chose this tour in particular, highly recommended!

This is such a good intro to the city, as is the bike tour in the summer, to get your bearings and be able to explore more of what you liked on your own. Glad you had fun, you were a pleasure to have as part of the group!
Thanks for sharing, means a lot to us.

I have never booked a walking tour before, usually preferring to just find my way around the city, but I had a college aged son and a middle schooler with me, so I decided to try the tour hoping it would please everyone. They absolutely loved it and we all learned so much, and it was the perfect combination of being organized, informative, and fun. I like how the smallness of the group allowed us to move quickly through the different sites. I loved the tour company — who was very responsive to my questions— and our tour guide was top notch and super friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely think I will book these kinds of tours again!

Amalie is an outstanding guide. She was our leader for "Beyond the Basilica." Right away I knew we were in good hands. As we walked through neighborhoods Amalie's insights were always interesting. She was personable, kind, savvy, sophisticated and inclusive. Being with this small group deepened my understanding of Montreal , as Amalie gave us a more nuanced narrative beyond simple histories or tour book descriptions. The snack in Chinatown and the iced coffee at the last stop were the perfect additions. I loved everything about Amalie's style and the attentive ways she helped us to wend our way through the streets, with our eyes and minds open.

Our guide Tom was very well informed, cheerfully upbeat and considerate as we faced the challenges of walking in the cold and rain on icy streets in December. Saw an excellent range of places, from the seriously historical to the deliriously fun. Great tour and great tour guide.

This walking tour covers a wide variety of the sights to see in Montreal. Our guide, Mariepier, gave us a great overview of the history, growth and diverse areas of the city. Her insights into the French and Anglo communities were very interesting. Because the tour covered so many different areas, it focused on breadth and did not go into as much depth as tours that cover just Old Montreal area or another smaller area. We found it to be a very helpful overview.

I was so glad to take the "Beyond the Basilica Walking Tour". Amelie, our guide greeted me as soon as she saw me. She had a peppy and warm spirit while making sure the group got to know each other a little bit before heading off into the city. I liked that Amelie gave us the nitty gritty details of each stop; the breathtaking Basilica, the underground city, murals and China town. She was honest about the history of Montreal, the rosy parts and the ruddy parts. This was my first time in Montreal, so her tour guided me to places of interest. Plus she walked us by the area of the Famous Montreal jazz festival! We also were treated to yummy pork buns and ice tea! After the tour she gave us recommendations via a cute pamphlet! A great tour to start with if you're visiting Montreal for the first time.

Our "Beyond the Basilica" tour with Marie was excellent and we highly recommend it! We had never visited Montreal and this tour was the perfect way to start our vacation. Marie was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very personable. Throughout the rest of our visit, we remembered many of the details from this tour which helped to enrich our time here in this beautiful and unique city. Thank you Marie for an amazing and memorable experience!

Do you take breaks during the 3 hour tour or are we walking/moving the whole time? Is the terrain flat or hilly?

You are walking/moving much of the time. Your stops are while receiving information/history of an area. Some of the areas are hilly. In our group was a person with some limitations and she had some trouble keeping up. I really enjoyed this tour because you do cover many areas and see things you may not notice on your own.

There are a couple of short breaks and the terrain is fairly flat. The walking was also at a slow-ish pace. There were people of a variety of ages on the tour and everyone did great.
