      Thanks Jeff the tour guide!
A wonderful tour with Jeff the tour guide, a lifelong resident of Montreal. He was knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. I particularly appreciated hearing about the cultural and social evolution of Montreal over its long history. Very entertaining and educational!

FINALLY, a great walking tour in Montreal!
I have done three previous walking tours in Montreal. None of them were very good. Most people would have surrendered after three strikes. But--as a former walking tour guide-- I refused to believe that all walking tours in Montreal were lame. So, I gave it a fourth try. Rodrigo was such a great guide that I'm now rethinking how I conducted tours. Were I still doing it, I'd take a page from. his book! He was knowledgeable, passionate, ENGAGING, inquisitive and collective! I really enjoyed the way he involved all of us at every stop. And, he seemed not only unhurried, but excited to share. All I want is someone passionate about the walk! He delivered so much more. The tour was on and around St. Laurent--a street I am always on when I'm in Montreal--but he gave me a new way to look at it. The next few days of my trip, I noticed murals and art we'd stopped to learn about, but also found myself more consciously looking up, down, and around. I started really looking at the artwork in a way I hadn't done, before. I actually hope someone else will want to join me in Montreal, at some point. Just so I have an excuse to do this tour, again. Well done, and THANK YOU!!

      Good ride and company
Great bike ride and fantastic bagel. Not enough info about history, architecture or stories about each neighborhood. No stops pointing out great photo opportunities. Rode quickly without much comment or narration.

Nearly perfect bike tour - I recommend it
Great bike tour with a masterful guide who knows how to keep the info at the right mix of entertaining and informative. Loved all the stops on the tour and it is not a difficult bike ride, we used regular bikes and hardly broke a sweat. Would have liked a bit more time or maybe finished up at Jean Talon market so we could spend more time there, but glad to get first hand info from a local about it. Highly recommend this tour.

      enjoyable and informative ride
Yesterday, the sun came out just in time for us to enjoy an excellent 3+ hour bike tour of the northern sections of Montreal. Darren guided us expertly to avoid any major traffic concerns. Stops gave us time to learn about the culture and demographics of this interesting city. A bagel stop and open market stop were perfectly placed in the trip for a fun stop to rest, snack and quench the thirst. the pace was slow enough for everyone to easily enjoy. thanks, darren and jared.

      Great September ride!
This was a perfect fall tour to learn more about Montreal. The history we learned was great- and was made perfect with a stop at a bagel shop and a food/farmers market! Darren was a great tour guide! Highly recommend!!

The only way to see a city
We wanted to see more of Montreal and the best way was on bicycles. Our tour guide Martin was excellent. His love and vast knowledge of Montreal was amazing. He showed us so many hidden jems of the area that we would have never known if it was for tour guides like him. We are so glad we got to experience this tour.

      Great fun on two wheels!
I was in Montreal on business and at the end of our conference, we had the option to select from a variety of tours on our "free day". I am very glad I chose this tour. Our guide, Rufus, was great. He is very knowledgable and friendly. Although we didn't have the ideal weather for a bike tour, the team at Fitz equipped us with rain ponchos (just in case) and boy did they come in handy. We completed roughly 3/4 of our tour without rain, but that didn't stop us. Rufus got our delicious bagels and took us to the Jean-Talon Market to enjoy the still-warm bagels at the market as we strolled through the open air gem. Upon returning to the shop, I enjoyed a nice Moca from their café within the shop which warmed me up nicely. The shop is truly a nice business with a café, store with some bike gear, and a fantastic team of tour guides ready to take eager clients on a fantastic tour of Montreal.

      Bike tour of Montreal neighborhoods
Jeff (aka Jean Francois) was an excellent tour guide. He was a great ambassador for Montreal as he grew up in Montreal. We visited the Jean Talon market, Little Italy and other iconic neighborhoods. We also ate the famous Montreal Bagels, saw the famous Schwartz meat store known for the smoked meats (another Montreal specialty) I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn of the Montreal beyond downtown and Vieux Montreal

Great experience on hidden gems of Montreal bike tour
What a great experience exploring these areas of Montreal with our expert guide Rod! He gave us a great sense of the culture and history of Montreal, and showed us these truly hidden gems around the city which we never would have found on our own. Highlight was the stop for Montreal bagels. A great way to start our trip and truly a fantastic guide

      Advertisement tour?
It was just an OK tour. Expected more historical information but got a lot of “you should eat at this restaurant, you should shop at this store” and it was just kind of weird.

Great leisurely bike ride through Mile End, the Plateau and Little Italy!
Bike tour included a visit to the legendary St-Viateur Bagel shop for a bagel, a 20-min stop at Jean-Talon Market in Little Italy to explore or have a coffee and a ride through St Hubert shopping street. Our tour leader, Darren, is an Anglo-Montrealer with an in-depth knowledge of the city, its history, people, culture and provides a number of recommendations and tips for visitors to Montreal at the end of the tour. Definitely a worthwhile bike excursion with Fitz Montreal! And kudos to Darren for a great day!

Really couldn't have asked for a better experience biking with Martin through the streets and beautiful green alleyways of this incredible city. He was extremely knowledgeable about its history, culture, and layout, and provided just the right amount of information at just the right times during the course of our three hour journey. He included stops for water, bathrooms, and the breaks were at very smart intervals.

The bike itself was perfect for the excursion with a few speeds to get up the small hills. Very comfortable. I recommend you bring a water bottle, ideally large, to place in the basket on the bike to stay hydrated
as it is a ten mile Trip. I was beat afterwards! But in a good way…

A sidenote would be to plan to spend the afternoon in the Mont Royal hood, taking in the incredible street life very near the bike shop and at least one meal on Mont Royal Ave. it was some of the best people watching I have had here in the city!

Really, again, a not top-notch experience.

    Salute Martin!

Our bike tour with Anna was a fun adventure for our family of 4 which included our 2 teenagers (13 and 15 years old). First time on a bike tour and first time to Montréal. I hadn’t been on a bike for years so I was a little apprehensive but all was great. This tour was a fabulous way to end our short but memorable stay. What a great way to see this diverse city, full of character and charm. Anna led us skillfully through crowded parks and streets, sometimes needing to make quick adjustments based on the day’s unpredictable events but always keeping us safely together. We really felt like we got an intro to charming neighborhoods, bustling cafe and restaurant streets, historic Montreal and the old port region. Anna’s instructions to our group of roughly 10 were practical and useful, and we appreciated ending right on time. You don’t have to be an expert biker to do this. Fantastic family memory!

My wife and I spent an extended weekend in Montreal for the first time, and this tour was absolutely one of the true highlights of our trip.

Our tour guides were phenomenal and did a great job explaining some of the history of the various neighborhoods while inserting personal anecdotes that gave us a better feel for the fabric of the community. We were able to see so much traveling throughout the city by bike, but even more than the beautiful views we felt like we really learned a lot and fell in love with the city.

I know some might be uncomfortable at the idea of riding a bike through a big city, but the cycling infrastructure throughout Montreal is phenomenal and we felt very safe through the entire experience.

I couldn't recommend experiencing the city by bike more strongly, and specifically with this team of guides. This tour is the first thing I've mentioned to friends who asked about our trip, and I've already recommended it to others I know who are planning on visiting Montreal.

I ended our trip feeling like Montreal is a new favorite city of ours and this tour is a major part of why. Can't wait to come back and try another tour!

Our e-bike tour with Jeff was a fantastic experience! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and safe. The e-bikes worked very well and were easy to use. We saw lots of popular sites and learned a tremendous amount about Montreal and Canada. The reason for the 4 rating is first of all because it is expensive. Of course, you get what you pay for but be ready to spend some money. My main complaint and the more irritating reason is they would not honor the 10% discount in the Bonjour Montreal guide and map. They claimed it is an "early bird" discount. I countered with "It does not specify that ANYWHERE on any of the brochures that show the discount. They still refused to honor it. At best, this is FALSE ADVERTISING and at worst it is a flat out lie. Caveat emptor. Despite the fantastic tour and our fantastic guide, Jeff, I'm not sure I would use them again. -- I dislike liars.

Experienced a wonderful bike tour with our guide Jeffrey. He truly made the 3 hours very enjoyable and shared much knowledge of the history and area along with his humor. Gave our entire group of 7 a great day in Montreal. We opted for electric bikes and that helped in seeing more of the city. Would recommend this company and definitely Jeff.

Our favourite way of seeing a new major city is to take a bike tour, having taken such tours in Barcelona, Athens and Lisbon. The Montreal Highlights Bike Tour led by our guide Darren was the best we have experienced. Darren safely guided us through the busy bike lanes and paths of Montreal, stopping at key points to give us the history and relevance of the location. His descriptions were informative, humourous, and provided some deep insights into the unique culture, language and customs of Montreal and Quebec. He encouraged questions and patiently answered all. I will recommend the tour to anyone visiting Montreal who can ride a bike.

Excellently guided tour from Psrc La Fontaine to Vieux Montreal, vieux port many small roads. Great Guideo Sept 27th,10am tour

    Why not 5 Stars?
1st) From the moment of my booking 2 days ago until this morning there was a "bombardement" of 15!!!! text messages most of them alike on my phone . The marketing is much tooo aggressiv!
This is annoying and besides, not efficient at all.

2nd) I was shifted the night begore the tour to the City tour which I did not book originally. I would really have preferred the "hidden gems tour".
At least two more persons which I noticed had also booked "the hidden gems" and were shifted to the bigger group 12 or 13 people by then in the group.
    Both issues are drawbacks.

Great way to see the city of Montreal! Our guide, Darren, was full of interesting information about everything from the history of the city to current events. There were plenty of stops along the way and we felt like we saw all the major sights in about 3 hours. Perfect way to start the day and great way to get acclimated to the city.
