Arrive at Montreal’s Olympic Park, home to many of the venues from the 1976 Summer Olympics, and head to the top of the Montreal Tower Observatory in a glass-encased funicular—the only one in the world that operates on a curved structure. The hydraulic system allows the cabin to remain horizontal during the 2-minute ride to the top.
From the observatory level, marvel at the award-winning panoramic view of Montreal, the Laurentian Mountains, and the St. Lawrence River Valley. On clear days, it’s not uncommon to see up to 50 miles in any direction.
With an optional upgrade, include entry to the nearby Montreal Botanical Garden. The garden houses some of the area's most impressive thematic garden displays.
