          Amazing Montreal Night Tour
The key to this tour is the knowledge of our tour guide, Mustafa. He was amazingly informative and took us to all the right spots. The detail about the history of Montreal was amazing!

Tour of Montreal and boat ride
The tour guide was excellent. We enjoyed all of the sites. However, we booked a private tour and then was notified that others would be joining. We do expect a refund of some sort due to the fact that we paid for the private tour. Thanks.

          Perfect site visits
Our tour guide was very experienced and well trained in the history; such a pleasure to have this tour with such a perfect guide. We have been able to see more then listed.

          Had a great day!
We took this tour on our first day in Montréal. Our tour guide was super accommodating. We were picked up at our hotel. It covered all the main attractions I had read about prior to our trip. We wanted to try the the Montreal bagels, he made an unscheduled stop for us - delicious! It was great not to have to wait in line and to have direct access at our stops. Recommended :).

WORST TOUR EVER VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING
WORST TOUR EVER VERY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING FOR A TRIP ADVISOR TOUR, Many items caused our disappointment: 1. Although the driver was very nice, he was not very experienced with Montreal. He admitted he’d only been here for one month. Also he had an extremely heavy accent, which made it very difficult for him to make himself understood by us, although he tried very hard. 2. The driver did not have a microphone in the vehicle so when he was speaking while driving, we could not hear him in the third seat, third row seat, and even the middle row had trouble hearing him. He tried to talk louder after we mentioned this to him, but it still wasn’t working and his heavy accent I think add it to the problem. 3. The vehicle that we were in was a Kia minivan. It was extremely uncomfortable, and actually did not feel safe. We were in the third row seating, which was so difficult to get in and out of that my husband fell, and I had trouble the lady in the second row even getting into that row hit her head. This was the type of vehicle that should never have more than four passengers, one upfront with the driver and three in the middle row, but even the middle person in the middle row is only sitting on the equivalent of half a seat, so for an adult that was still an uncomfortable place to be . 4. although the tour was advertised as a night tour, we discovered that it really wasn’t advantageous to be at the different locations at night, since it was very difficult to see the driver would be explaining there was something on our right or left like a lake or a cemetery, but we couldn’t see them because it was too dark. 5. The description of the tour was pretty much a driving tour, and although we do not mind walking, it actually had a very high degree of difficult walking associated with it difficult not only for the terrain, but also for the darkness where we had to walk when we went out to the Lookout at Mount Royal. We were really worried about spraining an ankle or falling down. It is dirt and uneven stone And very poorly lit so this should not be a visit during the night in the morning we took a different tour and they took us to a lookout that could be driven to so we could just get out of the bus and look at the view. That is what this tour should do instead of having people walk in the dark a good eight minute walk on this very dangerous path. Overall, despite the driver trying very hard to satisfy us, it seemed to take him much longer to get wherever we were going then it should have he took routes that didn’t make any sense especially when we went to the same places the next morning, on a bus that seem to get there a whole lot faster. We recommend that the Tours operator try being their own guest and taking this tour at night sitting in the middle seat of the middle row or the third row and see if they really think that is something they should be charging someone $100 a person for. We do not recommend this tour to anyone and actually think that TripAdvisor should drop it from their agenda.

          Wonderful Introduction to Montreal!
This was a great tour. I didn’t have much time to prepare before this trip, so I booked a last minute small group night tour. Sep was an amazing guide and the tour was perfect. I got to see the beautiful city of Montreal at night and he knew so much about the history of the city. I highly recommend this tour especially early in your visit. It’s a nice chance to see everything lit up at night and a great introduction to the city.

Mildly interesting, bring your walking shoes
Being a night tour, this tour was OK, but I hoped for more. We arrived at the Oratory too late for the sunset, being at the building was OK. We then drove throgh a lookout area, but it seemed you could see the city just as well from the van so none of us got out We arrived at the Ferris wheel & walked a long way to take the ride which offered great views. We went to Notre Dame but too late for light show, fun to be there but missing an important night festivity. At the conclusion of the tour, I felt we could have dot just as well going to places on our own. I suggest that the tour needs to go to places where people gather in the evenings in Montreal, this would give a flavor of the city it would be difficult to find on your own. Our guide did a good job having been in the job just a short time, with more experience I’m sure the explanations will be improved. Finally, make sure you are ready to walk (and walk some more). We called ahead to be sure there would not too much walking as my wife had injured her ankle and were told no problem. The Oratory & Ferris wheel needed really link walks, so this tour not recommended for those with walking issues. To the credit of the they refunded part of our fee due to the walking issue, thanks for that

Total waste of time. Felt like a scam
Our guide was this Indian young man named "Yash". He was a nice chap. Don't get me wrong - I could see he was friendly, helpful, earnest and trying to do his job. But Yash told us that we were actually his FIRST group for this tour, and he had only been in Montreal (to be specific, Canada) for a month, with 3 days of "training". He tried his best to give his explanations for landmarks that we passed by or stopped at, but it was full of inaccuracies or inane information. And questions posed to Yash were simply met with "I will have to look that up", or just some stuff that he most definitely fudged on the spot. I bet a Montreal cab driver could have done the job 10 times better! I would like the tour operator to provide an explanation as to what the hell this was. Bait and switch? Don't tour guides need to go through formal training and certification here in Montreal? This is a true insult to the professionalism and dedication that licensed tour guides have invested to make their living and hone their craft. My advice to anyone looking to sign up - don't waste your time with this sham of a tour. It's not worth your time nor your money

DO NOT PASS UP THIS TOUR!!
This was the HIGHLIGHT of my week touring in Montreal. I did not know what to expect with this tour but I have never been happier with a purchase on vacation. The tour guide was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There is so much history in the city that would have been missed. While driving the guide would point out historical sites and go into detail about the history and meaning of different symbols (like why there are tulips everywhere!) I was not rushed while seeing the different sites and the timing for each was perfect to see the amazing views and different events that happen at the location. I was able to try 2 food spots for the poutine and the bagels (I miss this food so much over the last 2 months!!!) Months later I am still very satisfied that I was able to have this experience and when I return I will definitely be hoping to try another tour with the same company if they have one available. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

Your tour guide may not be well informed
Nice locations on tour. Be careful who your your guide is. We had a woman who had been living in Montreal for 5 years but knew very little of the history. We were lucky that one of the people on tour happened to be from Montreal. He ended up giving the tour.

          Definitely not worth it
Disappointing and not what we expected at all. This 100% was NOT worth the money. We were picked up in a regular minivan (which was sketchy to begin with) and our tour guide used Google Maps to navigate from one location to the next. Tour guides were not very talkative. We were expecting history lessons and ideas for our trip and we got neither. It was a very uncomfortable trip as it was my husband and me and 2 guides, neither of which had any ID that they were with this tour company. It was completely unprofessional as they talked about all the free places to park and free admission into the tour places, even though we paid $100/person for the experience. By the time we got to the wheel, I was thankful to be done because the experience was nothing like the description. Absolutely awful, unprofessional, uncomfortable, no poutine, and just a terrible experience. On the slight times our guides mentioned something about the city, we asked followed up questions that could not be answered. I do not recommend this for anyone, but if you do it, I hope you have a better time than us.

The same guide as the night view tour the day before picked us up at the hotel. We started the tour with another woman from California. We toured the chapel from the basement to the top. We had about 15 minutes of free time. We also visited the small church in front of us. Our next stop was Mont Royal, but we had a light lunch at a cafe next to the parking lot. They recommended their bagels, so we had one. There were a lot of tourists at the observation deck, but the night view was amazing, so the impact was not that great. We didn't think we'd stop by Notre Dame Cathedral on a Sunday, but we did, but it was so crowded that we gave up on going in. We had a free stroll around Old Montreal. Then we went on a 90-minute river cruise. We had some beer and relaxed. This time, we were accompanied by a female training guide, which made it even more fun.

Excellent tour with our knowledgeable and charming guide, Diana. We were picked up right on time at our hotel and enjoyed a packed five hours touring all the Montreal highlights and history as promised. Yet the pace never felt hurried. Diana's uplifting and fun spirit allowed us to feel like "locals," at least for a few hours. Our guide had perfect instincts about our pace and interests -- and even introduced us to tasty Montreal bagels! It was all perfect! Highly recommend See Sight Tours' Ultimate Montreal Tour and our guide Diana.

A good way to see some of the local sites and learn about Montreal's history. The tour did...not go exactly as advertised on the day that I went but this was mostly due to circumstances outside of the tour guides' control (i.e. an expected staffing shortage/change and prolonged transit times due to constructions and detours.) They did their best, though, and I enjoyed the experience. Maybe it goes off without a hitch most days. To get the most out of it, though, you may want to bring your flexibility (and hopefully your manners) with you!

Our tour was on 25 May and we paid 300+ dollars each for this tour, which was actually only two of us. The guide was just like a driver who dropped us off at 3 places - Mount Royal, Norte Dame and the river cruise - and then we did pretty much self-guided tour. The whole tour was very different to the itinerary description and badly organised and boring, most of time was spent on the road. A lot of key attractions in the old Montreal should have been covered as part of the guided tour, but we didn’t have the opportunity to visit and needed to go back and revisit in our own time. As a result, I asked for a 50% partial refund.

They cancelled my tour the night before saying that their van broke down that was to pick us up??? Have you not heard of getting another vehicle? Or even sending an Uber for us? Very disappointing they said it would take 7-10 days for a refund! Do not take this tour!

You need to have more knowledgeable guide. I think his name Andreas from Columbia was a very nice and polite guy but he didn’t know much about Montreal.
He only lived there for two years.
He couldn’t answer our simple questions special about saint Josef bacilica on Mount Royal. Both me and my husband were very disappointed. He showed us the city from different locations, but didn’t know much about the city and its history.
We had to beg him to show us the Olympic arena, but we just passed by with no stops.
The boat tour was cancelled and replaced with 3 turn on ferries wheel. We payed $150 for this tour, not worth the money.

Tour guide was very informative and fun to be with (Jermain). We had a beautiful day for our tour and the scenery was great. We stopped at 4 locations with the Notre Dame Bascillica being my favorite. The cruise at the end made a great final event as we could enjoy a drink and snack on board. The staff on board was very attentive and a photographer was on board offering snaps of people.

Overall, the experience was great. You are in a van, with other people. We are a family of three, we had two other hotels to pick up at. All three of the other visitors were elderly with mobility issues. It was difficult for one of the Customers to get in and out of the back of the van. My son and I sat in the back with her. The tour guide was friendly and accommodating. You do have tickets to some of the busiest sites in Montreal. We were able to get in without waiting in a long line. There was able time to see things and walk around and take pictures. The river boat tour was great. I recommend sitting on the top deck.

Bill picked us up right on time. After he loaded 6 of us into the van, he explained our itinerary for the day. Very knowledgeable about every stop we made. Was very kind with our one person who had a disability. Recommend this tour highly Cruise was very relaxing. St Joseph Oratory and the story was interesting. Notre Dame basilica was breathtaking.

It’s a scam. We only did one of 4 activities, the Mount Royal (free admission at Mount Royal anyways) . No notre dame, biodome, nor cruise even though they were supposed to be included in the tour. I knew more about Montreal than the tour guide did. Complete waste of money and time. Tour guide also lied multiple times; thus, insulted our intelligence. Worst experience out of all trips I’ve taken.
