Have a 2nd Day in Montreal - this is a treat!
My teens and I hopped on the Metro to travel away from downtown to find a quaint neighborhood evident of family life. There is a walk from the Metro to the location of the class.
Clean, professional, clear instructions, good atmosphere, great instructor, awesome overall experience. It was a highlight to our trip! I would highly recommend!

We had no idea what to expect when we signed up for this class, but suffice it to say, all of our expectations were exceeded. This class is laid back, comfortable, and so much FUN! The teacher is perfect for this class. Funny, inclusive, intelligent, welcoming, and truly knows his way around the kitchen. Parking is easy (there is a lot very close to the building), and it is 100% worth the price. Hands down, this was one of the best experiences we had in Montreal. Our classmates were amazing.

A couple of years ago we had a bagel while in Montreal and both my wife and I were amazed at how good it was so when we knew we were going back to Montreal she found this bagel making class and signed us up for it. I was looking forward to it but like other cooking classes I've taken before didn't expect a lot from the class other than making some bagels and walking away with a recipe to use later. Boy was I wrong! Will did such an amazing job of explaining the science behind baking, giving instruction on how to mix the ingredients, kneading the dough and rolling out the bagels and the bagels we ended up making were delicious! Will is an excellent teacher, adding humor and insight into the class. If you're looking for something to do in Montreal and you like Montreal bagels, I would highly recommend this class. Oh and if you do go, remember o ask Will to introduce you to Steve!

We attended this class spur of the moment and it was the highlight of our trip! Will is so passionate, knowledgeable and easy going. He made this class enjoyable and easy - eating the bagels afterward was an added bonus! The location was inviting and overall was just an excellent experience. We would recommend this to anyone in the Montreal area looking for an authentic and delicious experience.

I took my two boys (ages 14&12) to this class and they loved it. Will is a great host and very thorough with his instructions, and witty too!
We each mad three Montreal bagels and you can eat them fresh out of the oven. A little pricey, yes, but Montreal bagels are unique and you’ll never find quality bagels like this anywhere, in my opinion ;)
You won’t be disappointed!!

We had a fabulous time. Will is not only a very knowledgeable baker, he is fabulous with people and was masterful in how he interacted with the group, keeping us on task, but also laughing, and having fun. He is very organized and prepared. We not only learned a lot about bagel making but had a great time with the others in the class. We highly recommend!

The bagel making workshop is an experience not to be missed for anyone visiting Montreal! Will is an amiable host and an excellent teacher. In addition to learning how to make delicious bagels, we learned about what it’s like to live in Montreal and the factors that differentiate various parts of Canada. Will was able to make everyone in our group — Canadians, Americans, a French citizen, older people (my husband and me!), younger people — feel welcome.

Our host Will’s sense of humour engaged us the entire time!!! He was able to connect with the group in an authentic way. Making the bagels was fun and relatively easy with Will’s direction and help. BEST of all the bagels were DELICIOUS 😋

My whole family loved it! My husband and son were amazed and proud that they successfully made delicious bagels with their own two hands. And for Will to get a positive review from my teenage daughter is no small feat. Personally, I thought it was a fun afternoon, and I’m especially grateful this has gotten my whole family interested in cooking healthy food from scratch. I’ve already ordered the malt powder. We’re excited to make more Montreal-style bagels and treat our friends and family! : ) Thanks again, Will!

Coming from NY, a city also known for its bagels, we knew we had to try the Montreal type and what better way than to learn how to make our own! Will's bagel class was amazing. He was prepared with all ingredients and a clean space when we got there. The group size of 7 was a great fit for everyone to have a great work station. He’s both passionate and personable which made for a fun class with strangers. We got to make yummy bagels which we now have the recipe for to make for years to come!

What a terrific experience! Will is an engaging host and a skilled baker who really taught us how to make bagels. Each person had their own bowls and scale and did their own measuring, mixing, kneading and shaping. The bagels came out delicious (we ate 2 fresh from the oven and then took a few home for later). A very unique and fun experience. We feel empowered to try making them at home and the tips he gave on kneading will improve my entire baking game.
