- Stay112093275300 contributionsReally enjoyed thisReally enjoyed our tour, we were a small group of 5 and our guide made it very interesting and enjoyable. Felt we covered a lot of the history and the old town and went inside buildings I wouldn’t have thought to check out like the Bank. Our guide extended the tour by 15/20 minutes as we were all enjoying it so much and asking lots of questions. Also got great recommendations on roof top bars and places to eat as going round. Would do againWritten September 24, 2023
- V184CRhelenem0 contributionsDiscover the city through its street artMore than 20 murals discovered in different streets and alleys of Montreal! Lots of information from our guide on the history of this street art, the different techniques used, the artists behind the works... Thank you for this visit rich in information and colors. Recommended to people passing by as well as to Montrealers.Written April 25, 2023

- Vacation2601540 contributionsGreat tour of Plateau and Mile EndWe did the walking tour of Plateau and Mile End with Felix. It was a great way to learn about the history of the city and Felix was a wonderful tour guide. He had all kinds of entertaining stories to tell and answered all our questions with ease. Gave us lots of tips for the rest of our trip. The area we explored was beautiful, with a fascinating history and we got to taste the famous Montreal bagels after the tour! I would recommend this tour to everyone.Written September 25, 2021
- ninaa2920 contributionsGreat family activityWe booked a tour of the Old Port of Montréal. Our guide, Françoise, was wonderful. She kept our teenage kids engaged and interested with fun facts and relevant context. The tour was two hours with a good blend of walking and resting. When we are next in Montréal we will definitely tour with 16/42 again.Written August 31, 2021
- Kate A0 contributionsOutstanding Tour and GuideI signed up for the Plateau and Mile End Tour with Felix and was amazed at how much we were able to see and the sheer amount of history it exposed us to! The group was nice and small, there were no issues spacewise for everyone to keep COVID friendly distance and I think we were all beyond thrilled with Felix. He has all kinds of insider tips, was able to show us some things that our group was particularly in, and made the tour feel personal and welcoming. Cannot recommend the tour or Felix enough, such a great deal for an incredible experience!Written August 25, 2021

We booked two private tours, one of Old Montreal and one of the Murals in the Mount Royal neighborhood. We chose private because we had 84 yo grandma with us who can walk but needs a slow speed with frequent rests. Both Francoise and Melanie did a great job accommodating our needs, finding ways to rest and still teach us about Montreal and art. Francoise was very knowledgeable, charming and happy to answer questions and make the tour interesting. It never felt canned or rote. Francoise had great ideas of what else we could do after as well as bard, restaurants and coffee shops. Melanie knew so much about the mural festival, the artists involved and the ideas behind the many varied pieces of art. She could also talk about some of the architecture that we passed and the fun neighborhood. We would absolutely choose this tour company again.

The tour was exceptional. Our guide met us at Place D’Armes. She introduced herself, checked vaccination passports and explained the flow of the tour. Françoise not only gave colourful descriptions of historical events, but answered our questions about other monuments and city features. She also was in the know of food, other places to visit, various events. I have tried such sightseeing tours in Victoria, Moscow and Cuba. The quality was always not so good, but here you could feel the string background of the guide. Definitely book a tour from this company.

Rene was a great tour guide. We enjoyed his informative and often humorous insights on the history and evolution of the city he clearly loves. We learned a lot in two hours, and would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Montréal.

Our tour guide on a cold November day was Christian, who kept us entertained and interested enough that we felt we could hold the cold at bay for a bit longer. He was able to convey a lot of the history of the town as well as some background on more contemporary issues in Quebec City and surroundings. He was articulate and well-informed. He also carried a pack of hats/mittens/etc. to help out any unprepared participants. I would happily recommend to anyone looking to understand exactly what they are seeing when visiting Quebec City.

Clara was an excellent tour guide for our walking tour of Old Montreal. She gave insight into the cultural evolution of the city, it's influences of British and French presence, and even pointed out some of her favorite spots to visit. A great intro to historic Montreal, a city so close to the US, but seems worlds away. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience on this Old Montreal walking tour. Clara was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide who taught me so much about the history of the people, the architecture, and the languages of Montreal. Going on the tour made me want to read even more about the city's history! I highly recommend this tour for anyone new to Montreal.

Sandy our guide was excellent! She was fun, knowledgable, and engaging. We learned so much about this historic city, it's food, and people all without breaking a sweat. They do a great job or pacing the tour perfecting so that you get in a nice walk without needing to take a nap afterwards. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city as it will give you a new appreciation for this beautiful place.

A really informative and interesting walk through old Montreal including the inside of a few buildings we wouldn’t have seen if it wasn’t for the tour. The guide was expert and friendly and took time to talk to the guests rather than just regurgitate a script. She answered every one’s questions thoroughly.
Would definitely recommend.

Visting the historical highlights and learning the history of the major sights in Old Montreal. Walking helped in getting a feel for the geography and orientation within the city.
Our guide, Mary, was easy to listen to, held our attention and was very knowledgeable.

Excellent. The guides make the difference and ours, Shanty, was great. She was very knowledgeable, detailed and nice. The tour went for two hours with a midway stop at the Architecture museum for a bathroom break. Much was covered about the origins of old town Montreal leading up to the current day. I highly recommend this tour for all if you enjoy being outdoors and learning from a very informed and intelligent host who loves this city.

A friend and I are spending about 8 hours in Montreal. We'd like to take a tour like this but only if we'll be able to see Notre Dame Cathedral (her #1 wish along with Old Montreal). We'd like to go inside the Cathedral either before or after the tour. We'd also like to visit St. Joseph's Oratory, maybe Uber or Lyft (thoughts /recommendations anyone)??? So the big questions for this tour is, does it go by and/or in Notre Dame and for those of you that have done this, would there be enough time to do the tour, the Cathedral, and St. Joseph's all between 11 am and 7 pm? Thank you!
Written October 1, 2023
Yes, it goes by the cathedral but not inside. You can buy tickets to go in, it’s magnificent. We went to a laser show inside the cathedral in the evening that was amazing. You actually begging ahd end the tour super close to the cathedral.
