Darren was awesome! Super knowledgable and accommodating. Each stop was great and I felt like I got a good taste of what Montreal is known for.

The Mile End food tour was very enjoyable, guide Francis was really knowledgeable about the local area, its history and food highlights. Highly recommended!

Overall, a very good, interesting and enjoyable tour. I had booked an 11 am tour so that it would overlap the noon hour and effectively take the place of lunch. that goal was largely achieved. However, upon arrival at the meeting point, I learned that the 11 am tour had been cancelled and combined with the 11:30 am but I had not received any notification in advance. Other than the inconvenience of having to kill the 30 minutes, not a major issue but some communication would have been appreciated.

What a wonderful way to explore the Mile End area. The tour is a mix of tastings at locally owned businesses and information about the area itself. Darren, our guide, had a wealth of knowledge. At the end, he passed around laminated sheets of recommendations we could photograph. My suggestion would be to set up the information on the sheets to be emailed as the tour is ending.

Amazing, well-balanced tour. All kinds of historical, cultural and local information, filled in with filling food and good snacks. Darren was really down to earth, fun to be around, knowledgeable and funny. I've been on dozens of food tours and this is definitely one i'd recommend with my eyes closed, as it shows travellers the Mile-End in a great light, while having them taste local bites and international delights, which basicaly make up Montreal! Can't wait to write my article in the upcoming months!

Darren was an excellent guide. All of the food was great, and more importantly, we were able to understand each of the stops history and background. We also learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood and tons more places along the walk.

Great food, explanation of the neighborhood history was very interesting. Every dish was unique, tasty, and interesting. Highly recommend this one.

Our tour guide Louis did not disappoint! Not only did we taste the local fare (generous portions) but Louis provided excellent commentary re the history of the area, the eateries/owners we visited, and of course the history of the food. You will be satisfied!
