In fact as this is a full day tour, and in a vibrant city like Montreal many things could happen in a day, it is common that the tour runs later than expected due to many uncontrollable things. I am so sorry Mary that you couldn't join the tour you booked with us through Tripadvisor. As far as we know, when purchasing your tour, you get a voucher from Tripadvisor that has our contact and telephone number, so you can call us if you need to. Regardless, as you purchased the tour through Tripadvisor, cancelation had to be done also through them! If this has been done within the allowed time frame, it would have just showed up in our system as 'canceled'. In your review, you mention that you asked to cancel after the tour and pick-up details had been sent to you. This means that you omitted or forgotten to cancel the tour 24 hours in advance. When you sent us emails, we replied to you by email as we didn't know that you wish to call. For us, you have our number in your ticket and you could call us if you wished, as some customers prefer to do so. From our side, we already take a big risk when granting a 24 hour cancelation policy for small-group tours where seats are very limited. When blocking seats on our small-group tours and then not showing up or trying to cancel within less than 24 hours, this means that those seats have low or no chances to be resold, while from the operational side, we have already incurred all expenses based on the number of participants we had as confirmed, 24 hours before the tour. We truthfully regret when some of our guests miss their tour, forget to cancel or have difficulties canceling it with the tour operator they purchased our tour from. But, it will be unfair to ask us to bare the expense while we have done everything right from our side and kept our commitments.

We have also taking notes of your comments and yes, we regret when the weather is not helping reviling the full beauty of Montreal, but it remain out of anyone's control. Regarding your suggestions about the tasting. We have added this part to the tour to include a local flavor, while making it clear that this is a sightseeing tour and not a food tour. There is hardly any extra charge for the tasting part which we list clearly in the tour description and in what is included. Regarding the pricing, with almost 10% only of participants compared to the Big bus, we need to ensure that our tours are cost effective, in order to ensure the success and continuity of our services. This especially as our prices didn't change since 2020 regardless of fuel surplus and inflation.
