About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- V9717QRjuliek0 contributionsStrange Day TripVery strange day tour. Thought I was going in a day trip to old Quebec, with quick stop at Montmorency Falls. Was loaded up on a bus with people who had paid to go to the ice hotel on the way. My choice, add $38 Canadian, or just wait in a tourist trap for 1 hour snd 20 mins while others went to Ice hotel. Opted to go in. Tour was bilingual, n English snd French. Guides third language was English (Chinese, then French) and he continued to use the f-word 3 times when speaking in English. Used properly “f communism”, but unnecessary/gratuitous. Glad my Mon wasn’t around. Bus broke down causing an hour + delay at the Falls. Very little time in Old Quebec. No accommodations/discounts offered.Written March 17, 2025

- babeyjanee0 contributions10/10 Experience10/10 experience! Our tour guide William was super informative and did amazing, translating in 3 languages! Filled with fun facts and corny jokes , making everyone laugh on the bus. This was my first time booking a tour and I definitely would do it again. We were picked up by our driver Sean at 6:50 sharp to leave at 7am sharp. Everything was punctual and the bus was clean. First stop was around 8:30 for everyone to grab breakfast and use the bathroom if needed. After that we proceeded to the Ice Hotel , Montmorency Falls and Old Quebec City. Every stop so so beautiful! Our tour guide Lady Nicole in Quebec City was also amazing translating in 3 languages, walking tour lasted 1 hour but you’re free to leave the walking tour at anytime to explore the city. Oh also! If you booked to only Quebec City and wanted to add the other 2 additional stops , you can add them during the trip by speaking to William about it. He will tell you the price of each location and let you know where the have an atm in order to pay cash. Overall experience was very unique and I would definitely book again.Written February 10, 2025
- paulaH7321LS0 contributionsGreat day trip to QuebecWe had a wonderful well spent day trip from Montreal to Quebec. Our tour guide Mr Yu was amazing, knowledgeable and had provided the organized trip. He speaks English, French and Chinese throughout the trip, that's already impressive. We had not had early breakfast in the morning and it's great that the trip includes McDonald's stop along the way to grab the breakfast. Then we headed to ice hotel, if you had not purchased the ticket during booking you can pay cash at the bus. The next stop is water fall. Then the last stop is beautiful old town Quebec. Mr Yu has helped with many recommendations, we had the best maple latte and pistachio rolls in Le Petit Dep coffee shop. We appreciate their flexibility to allow us to join the trip one way and brought our luggage on the bus because we are staying a night in Quebec, next day return back to Montreal by train. Not to mention our driver Mr Steve, he is very efficient driver with a skill, a pleasant guy. I would recommend this trip if you have limited time to visit Quebec. Trip itinerary is slightly different in the winter vs summer.Written January 18, 2025
- 48lingyih0 contributionsFun excursionIt was an amazing trip! We got lucky to see the ice hotel since it opened a little early. Old Quebec is so beautiful too. The guide and driver both did a great job. Such a magical experience!Written January 1, 2025
- 308cristing0 contributionsMore time at the Falls, less in Quebec CityWhile Quebec City was beautiful, three hours of free time felt rather long on such a cold day. I believe we could have received more helpful guidance about things to do around town, possibly indoors. Restaurants were packed and hard to get into without a reservation. I would rather have spent more time at Montmorency Falls--we had enough time to walk to the base of the Falls and back but the suspension bridge would have been more amazing! The Falls was really the highlight of the whole day for us. Furthermore, I wasn't terribly impressed with our guide, who was definitely trying but with whom I didn't feel made a very personal connection with any of us.Written December 31, 2024
- cindyjan140 contributionsSuch a good experience! We were able to do a lot of things in this one day tour. We went to the ice hotel, waterfall, and old Quebec. They stopped at multiple locations for us to take a restroom break and small snacks. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely join a tour from this company again in the future. Thank you.Written December 29, 2024
- quincy d0 contributionsQuebec City tourOur guide Hugh was great as well as the driver. We visited Quebec City and after a short guided tour we had some time for our own exploring. The guide gave recommendations for life much which was helpful. We had addl stops to see the Falls and the ice hotel ( if you pay extra ). Overall a very nice trip.Written December 29, 2024

- Rebecca M0 contributionsExplore and Get LostGot shuttled to the main bus that took us to Quebec. I thought it was nice there wasn't that much talking during that time so me and hubby can caught up on some sleep to be ready for the main walking and tour. We opted to just do the tour and walk around town which was and amazing time for us. We had plenty of time to get lost explore and try some amazing food in local spot. Isn't that the point of traveling to experience and discover new things? I know that's what we were there for.Written November 25, 2024

- ShannArtLife0 contributionsInformative and EntertainingThis was an amazing tour and it exceeded my expectations. The host Chao was informative and took his time explaining things so everyone knew what the agenda was. He also had a great sense of humor! As a tourist, I learned a lot about Montreal and Quebec City. I was also able to add on/purchase another activity that I didn’t originally book which I appreciated. I would take the tour again if I could! I definitely recommend to fellow tourists who have a day to spare and don’t mind a 2+ hour bus ride.Written November 6, 2024
- cathyd0 contributionsGreat intro to QuebecOur guide William was the best. Besides speaking Chinese, French, English and Spanish, he was super organized. Really liked that we had assigned seats. Lee, our driver, got us to and from Quebec safely. Bus did have a couple issues - emergency bathroom was broken and the charging outlets didn’t work until we were on our way back. Trip was great and timing was just right at the different stops. Pickup at our hotel was as scheduled. We received several texts from tour operator with details. Highly recommend this tour.Written October 29, 2024

They were on time, very polite, and provided pick up and drop off to my hotel. Communicated everything to us. The walking tour guide was very knowledgeable and local to Quebec City. These guys were awesome! Totally recommended booking with them. The tour included a boat ride and trip to falls. I personally didn’t love the boat ride but it is included so you don’t have to pay for it separately and it is optional if you prefer to spend more time walking around Quebec City. Your planned well and there was definitely enough time to do things between activities so didn’t feel like we were rushing between places.

Our Quebec City and Cruise Tour was a fantastic experience. Yu at Concord Tours was our guide and master conductor. We were impressed at how smoothly the entire tour ran, considering Yu and Concord needed to coordinate about 50 people on the bus including pickups and drop offs at local hotels. The bus driver was very familiar with the route, a must given the traffic out of Montreal in the morning and out of Quebec City in the late afternoon.
Quebec City is gorgeous -- it has a very European feel. A local guide provided a very interesting walking tour of Old Quebec City, including a walk to the upper town (a cable car ride is an option for those who have trouble walking up the fairly steep incline). We had about two hours on our own for exploring and eating lunch. The cruise on the St. Lawrence River was narrated by David, an experienced actor, who provided history and pointed out interesting aspects of the area surrounding the city. We cruised to Montmorency Falls and back to the Quebec City Harbor.
Our final stop was an hour at Montmorency Falls, where we were able to walk the pedestrian bridge that crosses the top of the falls and had beautiful views of the falls and the St. Lawrence River. We highly recommend this tour. The bus ride, each way, is about 3.5 hours, and the tour, door to door, is 13 hours.

Overall it was a great experience. They send you a confirmatory email and arrange pickup to your hotel if your within 5km of the meeting spot. The tour boss preassigns seats so you can leave your valuables on the spot without worry. On the way there they stop for breakfast. The waterfall was amazing. You can take the cable car up for $19 US..or have the bus take you up to the top for free. Quebec City was amazing and so charming like a European village. The cruise was ok...but they have a bar and you can lounge upstairs and get fresh air...overall recommend the excursion

My recent experience on the Full-Day Quebec City and Cruise Tour fell somewhere in the middle of my travel adventures: not overwhelmingly impressive but not entirely disappointing either.
The city itself is a sight to behold, brimming with historic charm and scenic vistas. The architecture stands as a testament to a rich past, while the picturesque St. Lawrence River adds an appealing aquatic touch. These elements create an ambiance that could have provided a wonderful day out, but certain aspects of the tour failed to rise to the occasion.
Our guide, an elderly lady full of enthusiasm, was diligent in delivering information about the city. However, her explanations largely felt like rehearsed scripts from online tourist websites. Nothing she shared felt exclusive or offered fresh insights, which would have made our experience more enriching.
Moreover, the tour was conducted under the glaring midday sun. Despite the heat, there were no arrangements made for shade or respite from the scorching rays. This lack of consideration for the climate made it uncomfortable to fully immerse oneself in the narratives and sights of Quebec City.
Upon interacting with local shopkeepers, I felt a sharp departure from the warm Atlantic Canadian hospitality I am accustomed to. They seemed more focused on conducting business than creating genuine connections with the visitors. This somewhat commercial atmosphere resulted in Quebec City not giving off a particularly homey feeling, but rather a place geared towards maximizing tourist expenditure.
While the city's beauty is undeniable, the overall experience felt somewhat lacking in terms of hospitality and local charm. It was more akin to a transaction rather than an immersion in Quebecois culture.
In conclusion, the Full-Day Quebec City and Cruise Tour is worth a visit for its natural beauty and historic appeal. However, be prepared for a somewhat impersonal experience, and don't forget to bring along your sun protection.

Quebec City was really pretty and definitely worth a visit. This tour was alright, it did cover most places indicated. However, a thing to note is that other than montmorency falls (1h) and the cruise (1.5h) the other places were covered in a 1 hour city tour. We were given about 2h for self tour of the city and the rest of the time were spent on the road. Our tour guide extended time at the first rest stop (which was unnecessary in my opinion) and in turn cut short the time we had at Quebec City. Time to return to bus to head back to Montreal was still 5.30pm even though we arrived 30mins later than his planned schedule. Better time management and setting of expectations would have been appreciated, especially since actual itinerary was already way different from that listed on trip advisor.

This tour was ok at best. I understand a somewhat long ride from Montreal to Quebec City, but beware that the tour guide announces the tour in English, French, and Chinese (I was not aware of that part of the itinerary). Our guide was Chinese, and for me, it was hard to comprehend him at times. He did try his best and was humorous at times, but it was VERY loud through the speakers in the bus. Non the less the bus part was ok. However, when we arrived in Quebec City, our guided tour kind of disappointed me. I was expecting a guided City tour, seeing different locations and hearing the history of the many beautiful locations in Quebec City. Instead, it was a somewhat short 45-minute guided tour right there near the docks and up to the hotel at the top of the hill. After that, you were on your own. I made the best of it, walking around taking pictures of nice places, but not knowing what they were was disappointing. The cruise on the Lawrence River was excellent.. very relaxing and nice sights to see (especially the Montmerency Falls). The cruise made this review go from 2 to 3. Visiting the Montmerency Falls was also really nice. The view from the bridge was excellent. Would have liked to stay a little longer to get a view from the bottom of the Falls. In all, the tour was ok... would have been better with a longer guided tour in Quebec City.

First, the falls and old Quebec City are beautiful and we were lucky to have visited on such a lovely day. And you have plenty of time at both places . However, the positives of the trip really end there. There were a lot of negatives to this specific tour, and I only booked it due to availability on my needed date, otherwise I would have taken the tour with another company. So let’s start: 1) The bus is extremely uncomfortable and was not a big coach bus meant for long distance travel. It was more of a school bus, and thus the ride was extremely bumpy and loud…I got severely motion sick. I even asked the tour guide when boarding the bus if I could have a seat towards the front to help with my motion sickness and he just said no and assigned me to a seat in the back (everyone has an assigned seat by the way). Even other passengers commented on the terrible bus ride and also got motion sick, so it wasn’t just me. 2) It was extremely difficult to hear through the speaker because the bus was so loud and bumpy. 3) if you book through Viator/TripAdvisor, your tour includes entrance to the falls. But if you book it through their website, it does not. Neither includes the cable car at the falls, which I feel like should be included if there is no cruise. Anyway, if you want to do the cable car, the company charges you 16.50 +3% credit card fee. Now, if you buy your cable car ticket yourself when you get there, it is $2 less! And you only need a one way ticket to the top since that’s where the bus picks you up anyway. But the extra $2 per person that chooses to do the cable car adds up…it’s just robbery. They can’t even say the extra money is for park entrance fees as that’s already a separate cost of 5.50 if you didn’t book through Viator/TripAdvisor. 4) most tour buses include charging outlets for your electronics given that it is a 12 hour day, but this bus has nothing at all. 5) at the end of the tour, we were supposed to be dropped off to a driver once back in Montreal to be driven back to our hotel. Except, the tour guide did not even call some of the drivers to let them know we were almost there. So by the time we arrived back in Montreal, a few of us had to wait for the driver to be contacted. In the end, I wouldn’t recommend this specific tour. You’re better off taking the train from Montreal…it’s more comfortable.

This tour was clearly a tourist trap.
1. The ride from Montreal to Quebec City is 31/2 hours. Not a bad ride. Guide on the bus William was awesome and very knowledgeable. He did a good job of keeping us entertained and pointing out landmarks when we were awake.
2. We get to Quebec City and are handed over to a local guide, Anabel. Anabel takes pride in the fact that Quebec is the first city built by “white people, not Mexican”- her words exactly. No problem with a statement of fact, however, she mentioned it multiple times and each time she did she pointed at herself to indicate “white” and finishing off with “not Mexican”. I am not sure what the significance was however the number of times she made that reference made me uncomfortable🤷🏾♀️
3. Annabel’s tour was a little over an hour. It consisted of us walking up the hill and her pointing out spots where certain landmarks used to be, but were no longer there so she implored us to use our imaginations.
4. Lots of places to eat, not a lot of food options. I chose one of the lease crowded places I could find and my options were burger, poutine or grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich- it was made with hamburger bun. My friend had the burger- it was literally burger, bun cheese. Apparently, she needed to specify the need for lettuce tomatoes, etc, but I digress.
5. The cruise was an hour. Yes the view from the ship was beautiful. The ship could not get close to the waterfall, so we basically killed time on the water and went back to shore. We then got back on the bus and took a 20 minute drive to the actual waterfall. Honestly, after Niagara Falls I was not impressed but I do love a good waterfall.
6. The. It was back on the bus for 3/1/2 hour ride back to Montreal.
Pros: William was great and so was the bus driver
Quebec City is indeed one of the most beautiful cities I have visited.
Con: Anabel
My Recommendation:
If you’re driving, and you don’t mind a little road trip, drive up and see the sights on your own.

The guide on the bus was very fluent in English (in Quebec, on the other hand, Richard, our guide, was truly bilingual). With this reservation, a very pleasant experience that I recommend: journey, visit to Quebec (with a free part of 1 hour 30 minutes), cruise (with very welcoming staff), visit to Montmorency Falls (I recommend the platform next to it). of the fall, for the sensations), and lots of memories to share afterwards!

A fantastic trip and good value for money. The day was made extra special by our multi lingual guide Yu, he was so knowledgeable and his delivery was humerus and entertaining. The driver was also excellent and got us back to Montreal in good time. The stops at Montgomery falls and Quebec old town were wonderful and lots of photos were taken. The guide in the old town Richard was also very good. The cruise on the st Lawrence river gave a different outlook of the city and again an entertaining guide. A long but great day, we would highly recommend it.
