It is a long day but a fulfilling one. Eva was a terrific guide and was very helpful throughout, and was impressively fluent in English, French and Chinese. The tour of the lower part of Old Quebec (with a local guide) was informative but did go a bit long. Fortunately it is optional and we had a great time exploring after we moved on to do our own thing. The boat ride to end the day was relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Montreal who is looking to spend a day in Quebec City.

We took this tour last Sunday, it was supposed to rain, but we were so lucky to have
it as a nice sunny day. We enjoyed the trip, first stop at the waterfall, then free time to explore Quebec City at our pace. Our tour guide knows so friendly, we learned a lot about the history of Quebec from her, she also showed us the most popular restaurants, we love it, though it took quite a long line for the table. The only pity, my husband didn't take the cable car, because he's afraid of heights. Someone says here, it's expensive, but personally, I love it and it's only 16 bucks, and I saw rainbow while taking it!

This is the perfect way to visit Quebec City. It is a long day but much more reasonable than renting a car or the train. This tour puts you in the heart of Quebec City with reasonable time to poke around on your own. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and informative. Multiple languages and translations.

First, the falls and old Quebec City are beautiful and we were lucky to have visited on such a lovely day. And you have plenty of time at both places . However, the positives of the trip really end there. There were a lot of negatives to this specific tour, and I only booked it due to availability on my needed date, otherwise I would have taken the tour with another company. So let’s start: 1) The bus is extremely uncomfortable and was not a big coach bus meant for long distance travel. It was more of a school bus, and thus the ride was extremely bumpy and loud…I got severely motion sick. I even asked the tour guide when boarding the bus if I could have a seat towards the front to help with my motion sickness and he just said no and assigned me to a seat in the back (everyone has an assigned seat by the way). Even other passengers commented on the terrible bus ride and also got motion sick, so it wasn’t just me. 2) It was extremely difficult to hear through the speaker because the bus was so loud and bumpy. 3) if you book through Viator/TripAdvisor, your tour includes entrance to the falls. But if you book it through their website, it does not. Neither includes the cable car at the falls, which I feel like should be included if there is no cruise. Anyway, if you want to do the cable car, the company charges you 16.50 +3% credit card fee. Now, if you buy your cable car ticket yourself when you get there, it is $2 less! And you only need a one way ticket to the top since that’s where the bus picks you up anyway. But the extra $2 per person that chooses to do the cable car adds up…it’s just robbery. They can’t even say the extra money is for park entrance fees as that’s already a separate cost of 5.50 if you didn’t book through Viator/TripAdvisor. 4) most tour buses include charging outlets for your electronics given that it is a 12 hour day, but this bus has nothing at all. 5) at the end of the tour, we were supposed to be dropped off to a driver once back in Montreal to be driven back to our hotel. Except, the tour guide did not even call some of the drivers to let them know we were almost there. So by the time we arrived back in Montreal, a few of us had to wait for the driver to be contacted. In the end, I wouldn’t recommend this specific tour. You’re better off taking the train from Montreal…it’s more comfortable.

The time actually spent in Old Quebec was not as long as described in the itinerary however the real problem was the bus. It had NOT been cleaned before we boarded. The seat pockets had empty drink bottles, old food wrappers and used serviettes etc. This is not acceptable especially during Covid! Then once we got on the highway to Quebec City we realized that the bus front door was broken and one side of door flapped continuously during the drive. We drove through a terrible rain storm on our drive back to Montreal. During the drive our Tour Director had decided to lie down across the seats and go to sleep. I have never seen a Tour Director sleep on the tour bus. During the drive the rain starting coming in through the front windshield (no I'm not kidding). The driver needed help trying to mop up the water while he was driving the bus. He had to scream at the Tour Director to wake him up for help. The broken front door had water coming in and the front window shield was leaking under both visors. In addition the driver was driving way too fast during the storm and one of the other passengers stood up and told the Tour Director to tell the driver to slow down. Thankfully he did.

The tour guide Quan Xin Ren was very rude and charged us for activities that were not mandatory and that we had already taken on previous trips, he threatened to get us off the bus in the middle of the trip at the gas station if we did not pay for them.
In addition, the bus was making a loud noise, almost unbearable.
It was one of the worst trips, I am not going to recommend this tours again and this is the last time I use their services.

Similar to another review, the departure was very disorganized. I'm not sure if it was because of a late start or traffic, but the timing was off, which caused everything to be off. We were taken to the waterfall first and given an hour to spend there. We were then driven to Quebec City and told that we only had 45 minutes to try to get lunch before having to meet and get on the boat for the cruise. There was NO WAY that we were going to be able to sit down at one of the restaurants and eat in 45 minutes. Every single restaurant was packed with people. I wish that the tour guide had realized that we weren't going to have much time to eat and had shortened the amount of time spent at the waterfalls. We didn't need a whole hour at the Falls, in my opinion. We could have used that time in Quebec City to eat lunch. Needless to say, we didn't get to eat a decent meal until we returned to Montreal at 8pm that night. I wish I could say that we enjoyed the tour guide (Tomas), but his English was not very good. He gave us facts, but not stories. The boat tour guide was very good and informative. After the boat tour, Tomas walked us up the hill of Quebec City and gave us a few quick facts about the city and then let us explore on our own for about an hour. The bus and driver were great. Overall, Quebec City is beautiful and I would love to go back and explore more of it, but I would not do this tour again.

The bus was late in picking us up. Waited for an hour. The description in itinerary never stated we would be on bus for over 6 hours. The 2 stops for snacks and bathroom breaks were the grossest facilities I have ever seen. They should have offered water on the busses at least.

Excellent tour to get to know Quebec for a day, the time is more than enough, and it is totally worth doing it. Our guide Jack was excellent, very attentive and friendly.
We traveled in early October (just before thanksgiving), so we reached the last tour on the St. Lawrence River Cruise, which allowed us to have beautiful views of the city. We also have 3 hours to explore what is known as old Quebec, which is beautiful. And we finish in the falls that are beautiful.
Only recommendation: If you travel in autumn, dress warmly. We had a sunny day, but cold.

We enjoyed the day trip to Quebec city, with our tour guide, Eddy. Eddy was very informative and pointed us to main attractions and restaurants to try in Quebec city. We were able to spend time in beautiful quebec city on our time, walking around the city and enjoying all that Quebec city had to offer. The cruise & Montmorency falls trip brought the overall tour to a satisfying close. Overall enjoyed the tour would recommend the tour and our tour guide Eddy! The icing on the cake was the tour picked us up from our downtown hotel and dropped us back after the tour, making it a very memorable day!
