        Dishonest Provider
I had 8 people sign up for the rip but one of them was unable to go. I understood there would not be a refund. However, when in Quebec the tour guide said he was going to go and buy the tickets for the Cruise Tour. I asked for the ticket for my person who was unable to attend. He told me tickets were only purchased for the actual manifest. I assumed that since he only purchased 7 tickets for my group that I could get a refund for the cruise part of the tour. When I wrote and requested a refund for the cruise portion, I was told that no refund was allowed. I explained that I felt this amounted to theft since the ticket was not purchased. I had planned to at least give the ticket away. I feel it is DISHONEST on the part of Concord Tours and Travel to not purchase a ticket while charging me for the ticket. Based on this i would recommend that anyone considering this tour find another provider. I actually booked the tour through Viator through the TripAdvisor website.

        Review of Quebec City Tour
Overall the trip was great. Yang did a great job being the tour leader. He gave clear instructions of the day, gave information, checked on everyone several times. The cruise was really good, as well as the waterfalls. The only thing that wasn’t great was the tour at Quebec City, the tour guide didn’t give too much details on the sites we were taken. A little more information would’ve made the tour of the city better

        Excellent experience
The tour was a great experience. Our guide William (I think that was the selling of his name) was outstanding. His comando of the I structure, his claroty and his ability to speak English, Mandarín, French and Spanish was impressive. Our bus diverse was great and our walking tour guide Nicole was sensacional. One suggestion would be to change the cruise for a prep lunch and more time at the Waterfalls park. That was a great spot.

        Heads-up about extra fees!!
Just got back from a 5 day Maritimes Tour with Concord Travel. The trip was exactly as discribed on their WEB site, the driver Gilles was awesome, safe driver and very friendly. Our guide Shuo was OK. What I want travellers to be aware of is the fact that Concord's WEB site, when booking any of their tours, only indicates that you will be charged $9.00 per adult/per day for driver/guide tips and you will have to pay your entrance tickets. Well, 12 hours before our departure, we received an email from Shuo (guide) with a paper indicating ALL the extra costs invovled. It showed sites to be seen and then gave a total of $72.00 for entrance fees. Shuo had also gone ahead and booked 5 buffet lunch restaurants without our prior knowledge and then was asking for $150 to cover those, PLUS there were some extra entrance fees that were not covered in the previous $72.00. Shuo also requested that we pay all in CASH, on the bus, before we even arrived at any location. It caused quite the stir on the bus and people were upset, especially about the buffet restos. Not knowing if there would be any other restos to eat at upon arrival at each location where we would be stopping, some of us felt "stuck" into buyig these lunches, others held firm and refused. For transparency sake, if you think you would like to eat chinese buffets 5 days in a row, buy it, otherwise, there was always a McDonald's, PFK, Subway or Burger King around in the area we stopped. Also, the $72.00 that was requested for entrance didn't add up. Most sites are free and the few that were pay to enter, didn't add up to the cost, so for our bus of 35 people, Shuo got an extra $600 in his pocket. In any case, if you are planning any of Concord's tours, find out what "extras" you will be presented with and don't feel obliged to pay for any of them, most are free and the ones where we paid, if you decide not to, there are things to walk around and see in each location. The guide may make you feel pressured or guilty, don't fall for it!

        Tourist Trap
This tour was clearly a tourist trap. 1. The ride from Montreal to Quebec City is 31/2 hours. Not a bad ride. Guide on the bus William was awesome and very knowledgeable. He did a good job of keeping us entertained and pointing out landmarks when we were awake. 2. We get to Quebec City and are handed over to a local guide, Anabel. Anabel takes pride in the fact that Quebec is the first city built by “white people, not Mexican”- her words exactly. No problem with a statement of fact, however, she mentioned it multiple times and each time she did she pointed at herself to indicate “white” and finishing off with “not Mexican”. I am not sure what the significance was however the number of times she made that reference made me uncomfortable🤷🏾‍♀️ 3. Annabel’s tour was a little over an hour. It consisted of us walking up the hill and her pointing out spots where certain landmarks used to be, but were no longer there so she implored us to use our imaginations. 4. Lots of places to eat, not a lot of food options. I chose one of the lease crowded places I could find and my options were burger, poutine or grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich- it was made with hamburger bun. My friend had the burger- it was literally burger, bun cheese. Apparently, she needed to specify the need for lettuce tomatoes, etc, but I digress. 5. The cruise was an hour. Yes the view from the ship was beautiful. The ship could not get close to the waterfall, so we basically killed time on the water and went back to shore. We then got back on the bus and took a 20 minute drive to the actual waterfall. Honestly, after Niagara Falls I was not impressed but I do love a good waterfall. 6. The. It was back on the bus for 3/1/2 hour ride back to Montreal. Pros: William was great and so was the bus driver Quebec City is indeed one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. Con: Anabel My Recommendation: If you’re driving, and you don’t mind a little road trip, drive up and see the sights on your own.

        Quebec City and montmorency falls
It’s a long drive with one stop on the way. They stopped at McDonald’s and a convenience store. The stop at the falls is about an hour. If you want to get to the splash zone faster , taking the tram might be the better choice. There’s lots of stairs down. The drive to Quebec City, is short from there. The guided tour gave some good info . It was about 30 mins long. I had about 3 hours to roam around. Take the tram up if you don’t want or can’t climb a 100ft up stairs or street. I did the cruise but honestly, I would skip that to have time to go to La Citadelle. It’s an 1.5 hour ferry ride to the bridge and back and you see the waterfall from a distance. I’m a fan of history and that sounded more exciting than what the cruise was. They do serve drinks on board so that was a plus, where sunscreen!

Quebec City is a Can't Miss
Really worth the long ride from Montreal and probably the highlight of my trip. The city is beautiful and I appreciated having a lot of free time. The cruise was excellent, and relaxing. Nice big boat with table service and friendly staff. Our guide Felix was great and I was super impressed that we were picked up and dropped off at our individual hotels. I've done a lot of these kind of tours and that has never happened. My only complaint is that the bus Air Conditioning didn't seem to be working on the way back and it was miserably hot.

Well worth the money and the day.
We really enjoyed this activity. They arranged to have a few small busses to pick up everyone from their hotels then to the very nice coach for the trip to Quebec City. Our trip coordinator, Felix, was terrific, very knowledgeable and kept us all organized. Quebec City is beautiful, the tour with Robert was great. The cruise was also delightful as was the visit to the waterfall. Overall, a really great experience.

        Really Good Tour to Do
From start to finish we were well looked after, we would not have been able to do Quebec without doing this tour, as we were staying Montreal. From the Falls. then to Quebec old port, it was unfortunately to hot, so didn’t climb the steps up to the hotel or use for the lift. We had wonderful lunch, my wife had some retail therapy and then we went on the cruise, whilst waiting for the bus to return , we had couple of cocktails We both enjoyed our visit to Quebec.

Enjoyed the falls and old Quebec. Willem was professional, friendly, and gave good information.
The boat was hot and food was overpriced. Could have done without it. Would have liked restaurant recommendations to save time.

Unfortunately my trip from Montreal to Quebec City was the worst of my life. The tour guide, Erick, embarrassed me several times, behaved very rudely and yelled to me. In front of everyone. I can’t believe that a person like him is working as a tour guide. He shouldn’t work even with animals. It was really a terrible experience and he destroyed my day. And to make everything even worst, he tried to force me to tip him. And insisted a lot! A total absurd!
And to finish, I payed for a tour that should end at 8:30 pm and they suddenly decided to took off 30 mins of the trip.
I really can’t recommend this terrible service for no one!

Nobody wants to say it, but a day trip really isn't feasible/worth it, UNLESS you have nothing else to do for a day.

Quebec city has lots of history, and only having 3 hours of exploring doesn't even allow you to scratch the surface after wading through the commercialized tourist areas. Plus the nature of a larger group is that movement is a little inefficient. If your ambitious, rent a car and leave early.

The staff/tour was good and organized, it's just really not worth the time you spend driving.

First the good: Quebec City is a good choice for a day trip. We did the combo with Montmorency Falls. The guide on the bus gave some history and details en route to Quebec City. This was perfect in that he gave very interesting information at intervals and did not talk for the entire trip. The local guide in Quebec City was also fantastic and engaging.

The bad: the bus! Upon our initial boarding of the bus, all was fine. Thereafter, every time we returned after a stop, there was an awful bathroom stench that greeted us as soon as we got up the steps of the bus. It would dissipate eventually after we got underway. However, worst of all, the stench remained for the entire 4-hour trip back to Montreal. We were seated in the back third of the bus. We informed the guide who came to investigate but offered no apology nor explanation. The stench became worse every time someone opened the bathroom door to use the facility. It became so unbearable in the latter part of the ride back to Montreal that some passengers at the extreme back of the bus begged a child to not use the restroom. The poor child quickly returned to her seat, clearly affected by the encounter with these desperate strangers. Added to this was the important, albeit minor, annoyance of getting gum on my shoe from the floor in front of my seat. For a trip scheduled to depart at 7am, the bus should have been fresh from having been cleaned overnight.

I was tempted to give this trip an even lower rating but wanted to be fair to the quality of service delivered by the guides where the destination’s features are concerned. However, this company needs to show more respect for paying customers by ensuring a clean and sanitary riding experience. I would not book with this company again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate both the positive and the constructive aspects of your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the day trip to Quebec City and Montmorency Falls, and that both our bus and local guides provided engaging and informative service. Regarding the unpleasant experience on the bus, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the bathroom stench. For short trips like this, we usually advise guests to avoid using the bus restroom unless in case of emergency, as we make regular stops every two hours for rest breaks. The bus you traveled on was rented from a bus company, and we have already reported your feedback to them. We have emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment on board and requested they improve their services to ensure a pleasant experience for all our passengers. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future

The trip was fantastic. The tour operator arranged to pick us up at our Airbnb and brought us to the bus. Our guide on the bus was very friendly gave us information and talked enough but not to much on our travels. Our guide in Quebec city was fantastic and full of personality. She was great and gave us great history of the city! We loved her! I wish I could remember her name we toured on June 29th 2023 if that helps!

A great short fun get away to include in your Montréal trip. Well worth the full day trip to see and know the city history and take lots of photos of the charming and scenic upper/lower town. You feel like you're being teleported to a city in Europe. This is def a must.

Yu runs the trip and does a great job. It’s a long ride but he entertained us making it seem not so far. The bus was comfortable and Quebec will not disappoint anyone who realizes how old it is. I prefer Montreal so that is why it’s a 4 not a 5. Bring your walking shoes!

Excellent overview of QC. Unfortunately it rained and snowed most of the day so that was tricky. The guide provided tri-lingual info in English, French and Mandarin. Comfortable bus. Made stops both coming and returning for bathroom breaks. Driver was very skilled and smooth. Walking tour and free time were fine. It was worth it!

Worth the trip out. Quebec City is beautiful. Quaint, European styled streets and alleys. Plenty of souvenir shopping to be done. One has to try poutine here (it's its birthplace after all). 3 hours single way journey (but there's a toilet break about 1.5hr into the bus ride). It is however a very big group (about 44 people in a big coach). Coach was comfortable. There is minimal "guiding"/ talking in the bus... though there is a 45-50min walking tour once we arrived in Quebec City- come mentally prepared for some steep steps to get from lower town to upper town though (having said that you can take a funicular up for $5 instead if you didn't feel like walking). Finally, Montmorency Falls was a short but pretty stop.

It was a great trip/tour for the day and totally worth it. Our guide Yu was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Bus ride was pleasant. Made just enough stops on the way and back. We had 4 hours in old Quebec, 1 with Quebec local guide and 3 to ourselves, but we chose to explore on our own. Totally worth the trip.

The trilingual tour guide Yu was very helpful and friendly sharing all about Quebec to us. We booked the tour without the cruise, which I think was a wise choice. Gave us more time to shop and explore old Quebec at our own pace. The biggest set back was the breaking down of the bus on our return trip back. We were stuck 2hrs away from downtown for I think almost 3hrs. But that aside, I would still recommend this day trip to anyone considering. 👍🏼
