Informative and delicious
Jul. 2020 • Solo
The food tour was lovely. The food itself was delicious and quite varied. It also included a good amount of interesting history, even though it’s far from our first time in Quebec City.

Shout out to Robert Simard. Full of interesting information, friendly yet professional, considerate, and generally a nice person.

Highly recommend.

Wonderful and unique food experience
Mar. 2020
We were in Quebec City the week prior to the Covid-19 border closures. We had planned this trip months prior with one of our activities being this food tour. During the day it was a mix of snow and rain but the tour was still on. We were running late because of the weather and the tour guide waited for us. We were only a few minutes late. When we arrived at the tour center we were met by Richard Sguin. He was extremely friendly and told us not to worry about being late and began the tour after allowing us to use the restrooms before we took off. Fortunately, we were his only customers!! It was a private tour by default. He didn't let the rain prevent us from having a good time. We visited multiple establishments and was able to experience many foods we would not normally have tried. Richard gave us historical information about the areas we passed with knowledge and humor. At the end of the tour we parted was not before giving him a hug and well wishes. This was the last hug we were able to give due to this current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. I would highly recommed this company and this tour if you plan on visiting Quebec City!

Best of Quebec
One of the highlights of my trip to Quebec. Special thank you to Robert Simard for being an exceptional host and guide!! It is evident at each stop, how much pride the restaurant staff has for their food and culture and their close friendship with Robert. The tour also provides knowledge on the history of the city of Quebec and insider tips on where to dine and shop to beat the tourists crowd. Truly an experience of a lifetime.

Such a sweet tour guide
Dec. 2019 • Couples
We really enjoyed how informative and sweet our tour guide, Regéanne, was during the experience. The stops were for the most part pretty good, but I would say that it trailed down from the beginning; we started at La Buche and it was incredible. However, some of the other stops were a little questionable. At one point they took us to a hotel lobby and gave us a coffee and a cake pop... there are plenty of Starbucks in Quebec that could satisfy that experience. Overall, we enjoyed the tour for the history and some of the unique dishes, however out of the 5 stops only about 2 felt like a really authentic Quebec dining experience. I would recommend this tour.

Loved this tour!
Oct. 2019
I give this tour my highest recommendation! Guy was an excellent tour guide and seems to have a lot of pride in Quebec City. A few of the "sightseeing" stops along the way were similar to some stops on the bus tour we did, but the information wasn't too repetitive because Guy told stories with his own flourish. The food stops on the tour were all wonderful. The food was very good and each stop had its own interesting story. The only thing to keep in mind is dietary concerns as our tour contained some fish and dairy products.

Fun, easy, informative

This was a great afternoon of tasting, learning, and seeing QC. The visits all added an element to the tour, cheeses first, Pates, local foods, wine, and a few exotic local twists (Caribou). Our guide was professional and on point. The pace was moderate, but not too fast. Overall, we thought this was a great use of our time.

Great tour
A very nice tour with Guy. Our group of 14 was a little large to be able to hear well outdoors sometimes, but the restaurants were all excellently prepared for us, which made it very comfortable. Samples/foods were delicious and Guy's commentary was interesting and fun. Choice of stops was varied and made for a great time. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing Tour Experience
Oct. 2019 • Couples
We had an amazing time! Jocelyn was our guide. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we all took the most away from the experience that we could. The stops were quaint and a true exposure to the Quebec heritage. The food and drink was too good for words!

Ooh La La
I'm pleased to join many others singing praises to this tour. On a rainy Wednesday in Quebec our tour guide, Maryee, was a ray of sunshine as she greeted each person on our tour. And there was only 4 of us! It could not have been a more personal experience as Maryee shared treats from 5 of her personally favorite shops. Her contagious enthusiasm added to the fun as each merchant greeted us with their specialties from the highly original pea soup at La Buche to fresh honey and local wine at the farm-to-table at Jardin. An exceptional value sprinkled with local history and commentary. Tres magnifique!
