This walking tour of Quebec City was top notch! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts about the city and her experience living in QC. Saw so much of the city in just a few hours and was a great starting point for my weekend there. Felt very comfortable after the tour knowing where we were in the city and seeing all the places we walked by and learned about. Would definitely recommend this specific tour, especially as you first get to QC so you can enjoy the rest of your time there with the knowledge acquired after this tour!

What a beautiful city! A walking tour was a lovely way to see the sights. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared much of the region’s rich history with us. Knowing 6 of 7 attendees had plans following the tour, the guide nonetheless extended the tour by 45 minutes (nearly 50%) to recount and show us the key sites of his school days.

Even though it was brutally cold outside, we still had a fantastic tour! Our guide was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. This was the 1st activity we did in Quebec City and we left the tour feeling comfortable with the city lay out and more familiar with the city's history. We highly recommend this tour.

A great way to get an overview of this incredibly charming city! It was interesting to hear some of the history of the places we’d been walking past pn our own. There’s no way of getting around the fact that the cobblestone streets are bumpy and uneven; something to be aware of if you use a stroller/walker/wheelchair/crutches.

Frances was a tremendous guide. Full of wonderful history and back stories of Old Quebec. Happy and energetic and we highly recommend the tour and Frances in particular.

It was a fascinating tour of many of the points of interest that makes Quebec City a wonderful place to visit. Our tour guide was superb.

Well balanced discussion of history of the city, truthfully acknowledging Canada’s past mistakes and Quebec‘s role in history as well as the history of the city. Francis was engaging and enthusiastic, despite having done this probably thousands of times and trying to deliver the talk in the middle of a winter storm starting up! He modified the route to allow us to warm up and keep us out of the wind.

We learned so much about the history of Quebec. The City, the Province, the formation of Canada and their connections with the American revolution. We learned about Champlain’s founding of Quebec City in 1608, and the strategic reasons for his choice of its location. We learned about the numerous attempts by the English to capture Quebec, which succeeded only after the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759, and the subsequent, final unification of Canada. All of this history we learned at various locations in the “Old City” after short walks along cobblestone streets, among centuries old buildings of various ages and diverse local materials. We highly recommend this tour for early in your visit, to improve your subsequent experiences in Quebec City and Province.

We took this tour in the middle of a winter storm and it was still great. Our guide Francis was very funny and informative. We made due despite the wind and snow and saw this amazing city in a way we wouldn't have on our own.

Words cannot express how much my husband and I enjoyed the city walking tour with Francis. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He demonstrated a deep understanding and affection for Quebec City. He pointed out landmarks, but also lent understanding into finer points such as architecture & the best places to eat. I ‘ve experienced visiting QC before, and even taken a different walking tour. But Francis was the best! Don’t miss out.

In spite of the cold we had a wonderful, fun and informative tour. If you are lucky enough to have Phil as your tour guide you will have a great time.

This was an amazing tour, I would recommend to anyone. Yves was fantastic, he knew so much about the city and was able to answer so many of the groups questions. The tour was informative and entertaining. We got a real feel of the city and we were able to plan out the rest of our trip based off this tour.

Our tour was excellent! Robert was knowledgeable and humorous. He took us around his gorgeous city on a very cold day and the time passed quickly. He wove history with architecture and even current events. My husband and I would absolutely recommend this tour. It’s well worth the time.

Dominique was great and was very happy to share her knowledge of all of the history and beautiful architecture of QC. We have done several of these walking tours in our travels now and I would highly recommend this one.
