About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Companion2749310 contributionsGreat tour and guide! Our guide, Guy, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his city (Quebec City). I strongly recommend this company.Written November 21, 2024
- theresahY4559SK0 contributionsGreat way to see Quebec by E-bikeFirst time in Quebec City and it is definitely a can’t miss place to visit. Guy was our biking guide and he was great. A retired teacher with a love for Quebec City and its history led us on a safe and fun tour on well maintained power assist E bikes. Would be great as an intro to the city or just a fun ride to see the sites from a different POV. Highly recommend!Written October 21, 2024
- scottcaps0 contributionsNicely maintained bikes, friendly serviceWe reserved two ebikes in advance and enjoyed a day of biking on our own. Got to the shop shortly after they opened at 9am. The bikes worked perfectly and seemed to be well maintained. They gave us helmets, a bike lock, suggestions for lunch, directions, and a map. The bike paths in Quebec City are very nice. A mostly flat ride from the bike shop on bike trails to Montmorency Falls (an hour's ride each way including several photo stops). We spent 2 hours at the falls, then returned to the city and biked along the St. Lawrence River with a stop for pizza and looking around the New Grand Market (we were glad the folks at the shop recommended this market for lunch). Overall, we had the bikes for the whole day, returning the bikes just before closing time at 5pm. Our only suggestion would be adding gel seats to the bikes for comfort. This shop is very near to one of the cruise ports, so would be a good option for cruisers.Written September 29, 2024
- elizabethsO8278EL0 contributionsPerfect intro to QuebecWe had an great tour with Guy! He knew so much about Quebec, shared very cool stories about the history of Quebec and it's development and answered all our questions. We were very impressed by the cycling infrastructure and the beauty of the paths. We also loved stopping at the market for coffee, fresh strawberries and oysters (Guy and Marie Paul had bags for us to put things we bought). Danielle was also super helpful in switching our tour date (for fear of rain) and then help us choose a ride to do on our own later during our stay.Written July 2, 2024
- mrsmcdlt0 contributionsGreat experience! We rented a couple of e-bikes for the day, and had a blast. The bikes were in excellent condition, and the gentleman at the shop was great to deal with. We did not go on a tour - just set out on our own. We got great directions to the trail to Montmorency Falls, and spent time admiring the view. This was a highlight of our trip, and we would recommend it to anyone!Written May 2, 2024
- designercynthial0 contributionsPrivate Guide Checked all the BoxesMy husband & I hopped on rented ebikes and headed for lower Quebec City's historical section dodging parts where we were already staying, and learned about the unknown parts. (The advantages of a private tour.) We pedaled away from the town to a different neighborhood where inside staircases were designed to go on the outside saving interior space. We stopped at a vast indoor market where we picked up necessities and had gratis coffees from our guide. It was great to explore the vast array of bike paths during our 7 miles. A former teacher, Guy learned more English for the job. Bravo!Written October 29, 2023
- 30196Cbc20120 contributionsFantastic way to tour the fallsRainy weather but a great tour with Guy to the falls. He was very knowledgeable of the area, pointing our historical facts and landmarks along the way. Bikes were in great condition, snack provided, and a rain poncho! Very little traffic and about the right distance.Written September 19, 2023
- Michael S0 contributionsA Lovely and Fascinating Lévis Cycle TourProfessional Guide Guy Ouellet took us on dedicated bike paths from the Cyclo Services shop in Quebec City to the St. Lawrence Ferry. The ferry was a beautiful way to see the old city and get to the south shore, where there is a lovely dedicated bike path along the St. Lawrence River, in the town of Lévis. A native of Quebec and retired schoolteacher, Guy delights in illuminating the landmarks and history of this beautiful country. After a break at a little coffee shop just off the bike path, we returned to Quebec City. This 4 hour, 20 mile tour was a perfect half day in Quebec and Guy was a delightful guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.Written July 19, 2023

- amandgc0 contributionsLovely Tour with LucWe went on a tour with Luc last week and it was a highlight of our three-night stay in Quebec City. It was so nice to be outside and to hear some of the history of that beautiful city. We don't speak French and thankfully Luc's English was flawless--and his knowledge of the city and his commentary on it really helped us to appreciate the city even more. As stated the tour lasts three hours--part of it was spent standing as we learned more about a specific monument or square and the rest was spent riding a bike trail where our reward was not only the beautiful scenery, but a delicious cappuccino at Brulerie Rousseau in Le Grand Marche. I just looked it up and it's a 4k bike ride from Le Grand Marche to the bike shop--not sure how far we went in total but we rode at least that far (so biked at least 8k?). On the way back we also got to bike through a few neighborhoods so we could see homes and areas we wouldn't have visited otherwise. My husband and I were the only two on the tour--we went on a Thursday morning in late September--and after seeing the huge crowds on the walking tours as we biked around with Luc it confirmed we made the right decision. It really was such a fun and informative morning.Written October 6, 2022
- 919scottz0 contributionsHighly RecommendThe tour was fantastic. We got to see things that we wouldn’t have been to see on other tours. The exertion level was moderate. The electric bikes were a great help. But first and foremost, the tour was made great by our guide Guy. Merci beaucoup.Written August 1, 2022
- crash-lj0 contributionsBeautiful way to explore Quebec CitySuch an interesting, informative and beautiful tour. Our guide, Dennis was very knowledgeable and very careful in plotting our route. We saw many areas we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. He shared his experience as a native and gave us recommendations of where else to visit (Musee de Civilization was a terrific example!).Written July 9, 2022
- landogger0 contributionsFriendly, helpful staff, well maintained bikesWe rented 2 city touring bikes from here and the staff was friendly and organized. Bikes were on good shape, and we really enjoyed our ride along the bike paths by the river. A very good experience.Written September 17, 2021
- AnnabellaT60 contributionsGreat way to experience Quebec CityWe had a wonderful private city bike tour with Cyclo Services. We were travelling with another family with children ages 7-10. The guides were very informative about Quebec and Canada’s history, they set a great pace for all ages to enjoy and experience this beautiful city. I highly recommend this as an alternative to exploring Quebec City.Written September 1, 2021

My husband and I recently spent a number of days exploring Quebec City, and this bike tour was one of the highlights of our visit. Our guide, a former teacher and avid cyclist, fitted us with e-bikes and helmets from Cyclo Services and led our small group around parts of lower town and then along the river to Montmorency Falls. Once there, he secured the bikes, arranged for our cable car tickets, and led us to the foot bridge that crosses over the falls. Along the way, he provided us with information about Quebec and what we were seeing. At first, I had some concerns about my ability to ride a bike 16 miles (I am 66 years old and hadn't been on a bike in a long time). But there is a flat designated bike path all the way to the falls – part of a much larger network of bike paths in and around the city – and we rode e-bikes, which take the exertion out of pedaling. This was my first experience with an e-bike, and I am now a fan. As I am also a fan of our guide and this tour.

A fabulous experience from start to finish. Easy to book, good email communication before hand, location of bike shop easy to find and friendly people to immediately greet you as soon as you arrive.
My daughter is gluten free and a suitable snack arranged for her.
Our guide was Phil. He was a delight. Informative about Quebec and things we passed along the way. The e-bikes are easy to use and the ride is basically flat the whole way. The falls are well worth the visit. You go up in a cable car, walk across the Falls via a bridge then come down by stairs. Views at all points. Highly recommend this activity. I am 60 and of average fitness and managed it easily. My 23 year old obviously had no trouble!

We opted for a guided tour. Our guide Guy elevated our trip to new heights! Our adventure to Montmorency Falls was a masterclass in excitement and joy. The weather was sublime, with gentle winds and comfortable temperatures. Guy's extensive knowledge of the region and its rich history captivated us, leaving us in awe of the area's natural beauty. The snacks were a delightful surprise, satisfying our taste buds and fueling our exploration. We will wholeheartedly endorse Guy of Cyclo Services to everyone we know. A truly transformative experience!

Rain!! Oh well. The company called us the day before and explained weather. Gave us the option of cancelling or accepting Mother Nature and going for it. We thought this was very proactive and admirable to contact their customers ahead of time. Professional. We decided to go for it. Our guides were Guy and Emily. They explained bikes and adjusted seats to our height. They were both very knowledgeable regarding equipment and our path to the falls. Our safety, seemed to be of utmost concern to them both which was appreciated. We stopped at certain points where Guy would explain points of interest and historical significance. There are a few inclines in which I struggled. ( Haven’t biked since I was 12. Clearly need to strengthen my legs). Thank you Emily! She was right beside me, with encouraging words. So kind. The falls were indeed, impressive. The snack the company provided was quite delicious with a chocolate power bar, cheese, crackers and an extremely unique box of maple water. They also provided us with water. The ride back was mostly down hill and we made our way quickly. Thanks Guy and Emily for a great tour.

The weather was perfect, as was our tour. We were lucky to be matched with Raymond who was a lovely man to ride with - he shared lots of info with us and made stops along the way just when we needed little breaks. Our visit to the falls was not rushed, he paced us well and we loved every minute of it!

First time on an e-bike and we loved it. Still plenty of pedaling……Amazing Annebelle was our guide. Her knowledge, animation and joy for both history and nature were extraordinary. Falls are amazing and Annabelle knew all the photo spots, stories, and legends. We cannot imagine what we would have missed without her.

This was a great way to get to the falls early before the buses! We had a mixture of weather but we were prepared. Our guide Barry did a wonderful job and even took us to some neighborhoods on the way back. The bikes were great and they provided water and a snack. Very nice people!
