- Brittany Lynn E001000/10 starsThis tour was amazing! I loved that we got such different food at each stop and did not leave feeling hungry. Such a wonderful way to tour this beautiful city.
- Nelson L00Amazing evening food and wine tourOur evening food and wine tour is a bit pricey, but in my opinion worth the money. All the restaurants are top notch and there are 5 courses (my favourites being the shrimp flambe, and the tender, melt in your mouth beef) paired with wine / beer. Our guide Guy is amazing and told us all the fun facts about Quebec City. My wife and I enjoyed it a lot - definitely a highlight of our anniversary celebration.
- 274sherih00Pamper yourselfOur tour was amazing. Our guide knew so much history about the area and the world in general. The food was excellent! The restaurant’s were very elegant and the whole experience made me feel very special and pampered. Definitely the best tour of my trip.
- JDDFlyer00Foodie experience in Quebec City!I booked this tour for me and my two teenage daughters for a Thanksgiving treat! We met our tour guide Marie at the office and began our tour at the office which is located near the cruise ship terminal in New town… a total of four restaurant stops and Marie was engaging, inclusive of everyone in the group and very warm…two great spots off Champlain quarter including a microbrewery and then we took the funiculaire up the hill… two great spots, The Continental, and the Clan for fantastic fare which were in close proximity to the Chateau Frontenac. The Christmas Markets started today which was a great walking adventure for us after a great dining adventure… A great activity with teenagers as well!
- LmlKl00Quebec CityDanielle was great talking about a city and province she loves. The restaurants selected were great. What a great way to taste foods from the area in great settings. We would recommend this tour to visitors who want to experience both food and history of Quebec. We will recommend and hope to come back. Quebec City is a beautiful city to visit without having to go to Europe.
- juliasC5136FY00Would highly recommend!Wonderful experience! Went to four very different restaurants. The food at each was delicious. Our host, Marie, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Quebec as well as the food. Would definitely recommend!
- tracypN4494ZC00Fun, but pricey...One of my favorite things to do when arriving at a new city is to do a food tour - it's a great way to see the town, get some insider information and have a meal that is satisfying. I do love that the tour company called us to check on our arrival to make sure that we were attending. Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable about QC, and pointing out the sites with interesting commentary. The tour is a progressive dinner with alcoholic accompaniments, visiting 4 different locales. Some of the restaurant selections were very good, others, I would not bother returning to. The first course was at an Italian place where we had Panzanella Salad topped with foamed burrata - good, but why anyone would "foam" burrata? The pleasure of burrata is that it is super creamy and rich. This could have been a better first course - and use burrata as is. Second course was in an old pub where we had delicious French Onion Soup and beer - probably the best stop. Loved the soup. Third stop was a the classic Continental where most food is prepared table side. The shrimp in lobster sauce was good, but a tad bland. Last stop was at a converted convent that now is a spa and wellness center. The food was good, the chef delightful and created a very good dinner, but the atmosphere was a little curious for a food tour. I am not sure you would eat at this spa center unless you were staying there. All in all, I guess we were looking for more quintessential Canadian food, and don't think this quite hit the mark. My partner does not drink alcohol and the non-alcoholic offerings were lack-luster seltzer at best, AND at one place, nothing was offered other than tap water. For the $187USD each, is was rather expensive and not a great value. I have no problem paying for good food and beverage, it just has to be worth it.
- T8418BKkevinm00Educational and delectable! Our tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the City. Each food stop was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour to learn about the history of Quebec but also enjoy some amazing food!
- BabsWisconsin00Great Tour to Experience Quebec CityWe had eight people on our tour. It was a great size to get to know people and our group bonded and had a great time. Our tour guide was fantastic. She shared a great deal of information and was so friendly and helpful. The food and wine was great. I really enjoyed the opportunity to see and experience the city by walking from one restaurant to the next. We did this on the first day of our trip and it gave us a good orientation to the city and ideas for where to go and spend more time. I would highly recommend this tour.
- debsmarten00A foodie and history delightI really, really recommend this tour if you like great food, learning a bit about old town Quebec with a pleasant walk thrown in. The restaurants were varied and you really did come away feeling like you had a five course dinner. Our guide Danielle was informative, humorous and an excellent dining companion. The food was delicious, the history fascinating and a bit of a stroll aided the digestion. All in all it was great fun.
- Tom G00Local dining gems with an expert guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personally. The sights that we visited gave us a wonderful view of the city, the food was wonderful and provided a glimpse of venues that we could not hit found on our own.
- DianeC61000Disappointing.I was expecting so much more in the way of a historical tour of Quebec city. Walking from restaurant to the next restaurant, we were told of our surroundings. The problem is there wasn’t enough of history included in the tour for me. We spent more time in the 4 restaurants we visited. Another problem for me was the guides very French thick accent. I could not understand hardly anything she said. Add lots of noise and commotion to the mix and you understand nothing she is saying. We had our first course, a salad, at a nice restaurant. No choice of anything to drink other than water or wine At all the restaurants we visited. It was good, nothing real special. Our second restaurant, we had French onion soup. Very good, but nothing special. our third restaurant, we had shrimp flambé which was good and very, very filling. Our fourth restaurant was at a monastery. This is where we were presented with our main entrée. By this time I was stuffed and nothing on my plate was appealing. I ate nothing. We had one more stop for dessert, which my husband and I declined going to. We were stuffed to-the max and could not have put one more bite of food in our mouths. We ended our tour after the monastery. While our tour guide was pleasant and friendly, I feel I missed out on a lot of history because I could not hear her or understand her. Would I do this tour again? No. This tour is good for foodies who like to eat a lot. For me, I did not feel like it was worth almost $400 for this tour for my husband and I. That’s a lot of money. I would go back to Quebec city in a heartbeat. What a beautiful town with beautiful people.
- amyupnorth00Our tour guide Guy was amazing!Great experience touring and eating our way through Quebec old town. Guy was a fabulous tour guide and storyteller. Ample amounts of food and lots of opportunity to learn more about this amazing city. Highly recommend !
- Pathfinder79053000The best experienceI had the opportunity to experience the 5 course tour with a very wonderful guide, Guy. The full experience was very enjoyable. Our tour guide "Guy" was very knowledgeable, great conversation, historical information, and so kind and fun. The food was delicious for every course and restaurant, and the closing was perfect with very delicious dessert. I recommend this tour to anyone who is a foodie and loves exploring! 10/10! Well done!
- Go2285636919000Excellent food tour, worth the time and moneyGreat food, excellent variety of restaurants and options. Loved everything we ate on this tour and the history elements while we walked were good as well. We try and book a food tour on our first day in any new city and this one was one of the best. You won't be disappointed.

The guide was not only knowledgeable about history and architecture, she gave us many tips about other events, tours, attractions, and dining in the city. In fact we had drinks later at a pub she pointed out during our tour. And the funicular ride saved us many steep steps. A great tour!

Denis was a fantastic guide for my wife and I as we toured Quebec City! He had fascinating historical knowledge about the City's history and an enthusiastic attitude that was enjoyable to be around. Denis also brought us to unique and hidden places in the City that we would not have thought of checking out. This tour was a highlight of our trip.

What a wonderful experience to get to know Quebec, its history, architecture and culture more fully. Marie was our guide and she had good humor, personalized the tour and guided us through the streets of the old city (lower and upper). The funicular was a helpful part of the tour--we walked down to the lower town and ended up near City Hall in the upper (British) part of town, right next to our hotel. If you are looking for an enjoyable and honest introduction to the city and its complex history, this is a great option.

SO and I attended this tour a few days ago and Denis was our guide. I cannot emphasize enough how articulate and knowledgeable Denis was. He is a lifelong Quebecer and demonstrated pride with every point of interest throughout the full two hours. He had us fully engaged and excited to hear everything he had to say. We were lucky to have Denis as our guide and you will be too if you are assigned to him. Do not forget to tip!

Enjoyed this walking tour of old Québec. Meghan was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide. She told us about the city’s history, culture and places of interest, things we probably wouldn’t have learned otherwise. We liked the included ride on the Funicular. This tour definitely added to our enjoyment of visiting old Québec!

Well worth booking and my wife and I had a wonderful tour of Quebec City (Sept 9th) with our guide who was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. He showed us where Quebec all began and then expanded on its history which captures you when being explained. A fantastic tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t praise the tour enough. Thumbs up from us both! 👍

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Denis. We were the only ones on the tour (very lucky), and he gave us a great historical overview of the Old City and added some special detours to give us more information. I highly recommend doing this when you first arrive in the Old City. On day 2, we found ourselves referring back to things that he said, and we were able to navigate our way around much better because we took this walking tour. We cannot say enough good things about Denis---well, just be sure to tip him well :)

Diane was very well informed and educated on the history and culture of Quebec City. She showed our group artistic displays I never would have understood without context. AND we were late (but in touch with her previously due to terrible traffic getting out of Montreal) and she kindly kept the group happy for the few minutes it took for us to reach them. This tour is well worth your time and money.

We had a wonderful tour of Old Quebec City with Ann. She had an amazing amount of information for us. We were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour. It was money well spent and gave us insight to many things to see and explore during our visit to this incredible city.
