For someone who truly loves nature, this was a disturbing experience. I feel like the beauty of the area has been pillaged and used as a money-making venture. The place was over-crowded with loud, boisterous groups of people in what should have been a peaceful natural environment. My husband and I were both a bit disgusted.

This is a great attraction; it is set up so that people can be well entertained for a couple of hours. The walk across the bridge is good fun as it wobbles around...hang on for the ride. The tree top walks are fascinating and very well set up and the skywalk is well worth it. Whilst the crowds were pretty low when I was there, the signs are evident that it can get very busy with long waits to buy tickets and actually get a spot on the bridge itself. Good food and drink options available.

Way too crowded, maybe because it was summer but the cliff walk was a little more quiet and the place in general is very serene and has great views

Some hotels will have a coupon that will save you $5. We found a better savings with our AAA card. Regardless of the price, this experience at Capilano Suspension Bridge is well worth. It. Our first experience was in 2017. We are glad we went a second time in July of 2024. Both times we were able to catch the free bus. This famous suspension bridge, 450 foot long and 250 high over the Capilano River, was initially made in the late 19th century. With at least 4 different owners, this exhibit has grown to be a world class showcase. My wife who has a fear of heights, had no problem going over. It is secure enough and wide enough for hundreds of people to cross back-and-forth at one time. Now, she did not like the “swinging,” but that is to be expected with a suspension bridge. There are plenty of signs and it is impossible to get lost. In fact, most of the descriptive signs are quite interesting. We did enjoy the “Treetops Adventure” walking a suspension 98 feet high from one tree to another. Close by is “Grandma Capilano” which is over 250 feet high and 1300 years old. In 1895 there was one Douglas Fir that was cut down that was over 417 feet high. Just imagine if that tree was preserved? We did see a number of naturalists. Our favorite presenters were the “Falcon” professionals who gave us insights about these famous birds. Back over the suspension bridge is the 2011 addition of the Cliffwalk. One is literally walking around the gorge cliff. Many times, there was only glass and the bottom of the gorge looking at you. There are a number of cafés and a very large store to purchase tee-shirts, sweatshirts and all the stuff you would find in a souvenir shop. We pre-booked well in advance the entry for this area we came to after visiting Grouse mountain in the morning and the Sea to sky gondola the day earlier, unfortunately both days being rainy, foggy and around 10 degrees Celsius in early June. We parked the car in the very large car park, which is not included in the high priced entry and notice this area is busier than the earlier mentioned 2 attractions: - lots of people and large groups filming just about everybody but themselves, which is annoying if you are a private person; then they start laughing in their language as if is something wrong with you.... not with them - there are different ticket offices depending if you paid in advance or you want to buy your ticket there and some of the queues were rather long even in our rainy day - you enter what feels like a well organise village with shops, cafes etc where lots of people sit listening to the live music - then you can chose to cross the main bridge itself to the other side of the river where there are more attractions, or do the Cliffwalk, which is also spectacular and which will bring you back to the Cafes area - interestingly the bridge did not make me dizzy as the smaller bridge at the Sea to sky location the day earlier made me; the annoying bit is, as I said, some people put cameras in your face to film everything!!! - on the other side of the bridge is the beautifully and magically done the Lights area which leads to the Raptors Ridge, having only one predator when we were there - if you turn right, you reach the Donut cafe (as I called it due to their nice donuts, where also a baby squirrel was nibbling on a guy's feet sitting at one of the tables; how cute!!!) then you can do the Tree walk and see the world beneath you with a waterfall in the distance. This is another beautiful area, unfortunately again with people putting cameras in your face to film the world!!! - you cannot return to exit but by crossing again the Capilano bridge and you should leave at least 90min for seeing the whole area Simply gorgeous although pricey, no wonder the houses/gardens in this area show a higher level of prosperity than other parts as the tourist economy brings lots of benefits in the detriment of other areas, right?

This meticulously kept park has many bridges and paths to walk though, amongst trees that are over 200 feet tall, it provides an amazing experience to be out in nature. We walked the trails for about 2 or 3 hours, and then we ate lunch at their restaurant, which was pretty good. The parking situation is a pay lot across the street. It seems to fill up on weekends, so if you are driving and can get there early, you have a better chance to get a spot.

Nice park and well appointed and beautiful views. We were very surprised how pricey it was! Tree tops were closed so they offered a 10% discount but still $70 per person. Definitely need to be in good physical condition to take advantage of all there is to see. Lots of steps and steep paths. Not stroller or wheel chair friendly

A breathtaking place to visit and it was a truly mesmerizing experience. On top of the view , the staff are awesome and made my experience truly unforgettable. All staff were so helpful but Cody stands out and he was amazing, He was polite, friendly and super fun and I have to say thanks to him for making my visit so memorable

This was my third visit over the years to the park with my now-teen son. Each time, we arrive about 20 mins before the park opens and head straight to the suspension bridge to get some pics before others arrive. It is a beautiful location for a walk and some fresh air. Lovely trails, nice food options (my son got a kick out of the 'otter balls'), prices in the shop seemed high but some great items (we picked up a banana snail plush!) My favourite spot though, is where kids can compare their own 'wing' span with a falcon/raven etc. I've taken pics of my son in this spot when he was four, six and now fourteen - there is no better souvenir! Tickets are a bit pricey but well worth it!

This is undoubtedly overpriced for a walk in the woods, but I am glad that I went. It wasn’t crowded at ~4pm on a Monday in March. The bridge wasn’t so excited but the temperate rainforest is a unique and beautiful environment that is not familiar to most parts of the world. Being in the forest and the totem poles were my favorite parts.

I travelled to Vancouver on 3rd December and made it to the Capilano suspension bridge park as part of the day tour. It was a splendid experience... The bridge, tree top hopping, cliff walk...the views were awesome from the top... The park itself was lit in various these waiting to welcome Christmas.. overall, I would say a must to do activity while in Vancouver....

This is a must-do for visitors to Vancouver. The suspension bridge is impressive, and the walkways, including the treetop walk, are well built into the forest, or against the cliff-face. Being from Australia, my family had been to similar bridges and suspended walks at home, but this was the first time we had seen a rainforest of pine trees, and the deep gorge and clear fast river add some drama to the scenery. To cap it off, there is a good selection of light or restaurant food for after the walk. The only thing that didn’t resonate with us was the addition of artificial lights throughout the walkways. Perhaps because we weren’t there in the evening, we didn’t get to appreciate the lights in the dusk, but in the daylight, we felt that nature would have done better without artificial additions.

We took a spontaneous trip to Vancouver from Seattle and when searching for things to do this popped up. We were skeptical at first because of the price per person but we were SO HAPPY that we ended up doing it. Literally, an experience to remember. We were so lucky that Canyon Lights was still happening because it was truly beautiful. We got in at 4:30 so we got there right as the sun was going down and barely had enough light to view the Capilano river before it got completely dark, but it was still beautiful with all the lights. I would really love to go again during the day to really admire the forest and surrounding areas. Truly one of a kind experience.

A Temperate Rainforest. We didn't realise that a free shuttle bus ran regularly from Canada Place in Vancouver to the park, so we had used public transport to make our way there. It was late September when we visited, so we had no problem getting a ticket as there were no queues. The price we paid on the gate was, $70.00pp Once inside you have to go over the pedestrian suspension bridge, now of you don't like heights this is as far as you will go! This was the busiest part of the park, people in the way, taking selfies, running and jumping doesn't make for a pleasant experience!! Once over the bridge the park is amazing, cool lakes, huge birds, even bigger trees, and suspended walkways between some of these trees. Oh and also a few places to grab a drink and a snack! If this wasn't enough high action for you, then there's always the newish Cliffwalk to finish the day! You could easily spend a whole day here enjoying the beautiful park.

Capilano suspension bridge park had the Christmas lights on during our visit the admission is around 44 and it's borderline worth it
