      Surprise. Surprise
I have lived in Toronto since 1988 and have always wanted to do a 1000 Island tour. This one is a lovely one to do, covering the most eastern part of the 1000 Islands. In addition, the entire town of Brockville is absolutely worthy of a couple of days stay.

      Captain Andy the drunk
Our "captain" and by the sounds of it the owner started drinking as soon as we left the dock. Not a huge deal as he wasn't driving the boat but in my opinion extremely unprofessional. The bigger deal were the accusations from 7 different women that he had in one way or another touched them inappropriately. I'm sure the police will be involved and we will see what happens so until then I would save your money and go elsewhere. I certainly will never be going back and I wouldn't trust my family anywhere near this place.

Unfriendly, boring, don't waste ur money
Really unfriendly staff especially the older (old man) crew member. Boring, the crew don't talk, explain anything, very impersonal.

      A wonderful sunset cruise..
We chose what was left as all the earlier cruises were fully booked. It turned out great from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. The sunset cruise was full too and socially spaced to allow us a very safe and informative way to spend our early evening in Brockville. Fun for old and young alike.

A good location to stop between Montreal and Toronto. Nice cruise.
Booked the 90 minute tour at 2;30pm. Had a Travelzoo coupon to save $5. We met the grump lady at the front counter as well. The tour does the far eastern islands. Very well done, covered a large area for the time suitable to see many islands and the Brockville coastline. Taped recording was good. Noticed the white storage bins with lifejackets were all locked on the upper deck. Figured it was just one but on leaving noticed it was all of them. Told the crew and said Oh we forgot to unlock them. Have done the Gananoque cruise further west and think that location is better and can take you to Bolte Castle

      Highly recommend
We took a private cruise yesterday to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Booked and paid online with no problems. Arrived early to let them know we were there and having some lunch before the cruise. Captain Andy was ready to go as soon as we were done. It was a great afternoon on the water and we learned so much about the history of the area from Captain Andy. He was ready to answer any questions we had and was very knowledgeable about the history of 1000 Islands and Brockville. He suggested a visit to the Brockville Railway Tunnel which we did take in after the cruise. It was also amazing. Lois was working the shop and was very friendly and funny. She had us laughing a lot. We will be back and we will be telling anyone looking for a nice day trip to check in with them for a cruise. Thank you Captain Andy and Lois!

Very unsatisfied with the front desk lady
When we arrived, a party of 4 at the front counter on Aug. 6th past noon, the lady told us they were NO room for the 14:30 and 16:30 cruise. We told her that we have Tuango. She told us to book directly online but...no room for today, the Friday. During lunch break, we checked online and they had room so we went back at the counter and we had to buy cash for the cruise and funny, they were seats available! She found 1000....reasons ....Yes, the lady was NOT of any help at all! We would certainly go to another location such as Gananoque or even Kingston but NOT at that counter!

Lovely way to see and learn about the history of the 1000 Islands around Brockville
Jewels of the St. Lawrence 90 Minute Tour - Overall a lovely experience, it is a pre-recorded commentary, which is nice, you'll always hear the same thing, no matter which crew you get. Very informative and interesting. All staff were wonderful and helpful. We went on a rainy day and being that we were first in line, the crew were helpful in where we should sit on the top deck in order to avoid the rain. We ended up being the only people who lasted the whole cruise on the upper deck, as it really was wet everywhere else - so that was great! Great COVID protocols, each seating area labelled to ensure groups were able to socially distance from each other. The only drawback - we booked through a Travelzoo deal, and although on paper it looks great - $39 for 2 people, we still had to pay "taxes and fees" on site - and that ended up being an additional $10+ so we only saved $10 over booking directly, so not a great deal through Travelzoo.

      The cruise was nice but...
The cruise itself was nice, but the lady at the ticket office was rude and there was a hidden fee, which really set the tone for the experience. When we arrived at the ticket office, the lady told me that I needed to show her the Groupon that I used to book the tickets (I'm surprised that they didn't have that information since I already booked the tickets online with the Groupon code?), so I quickly searched through my emails on my phone (it took maybe 1-2 minutes), and while I was doing that my boyfriend actually saw her rolling her eyes at me. How unprofessional and disrespectful! If you don't like when people use Groupons maybe don't offer them? We also saw her roll her eyes after speaking to a customer on the phone...let's just say first impressions are everything. I was then charged a surprise $5 extra per ticket, which seems a little bit suspicious to me as there was no information about additional fees on the Groupon. Like I said, the cruise itself was nice, but the rude lady and the hidden fee were not.

      1000 Island Cruise
Enjoyed our tour for the upper 1000 Islands. The crew was great and very courteous. The ship was clean. Loved the audio tour broadcast over the speakers in both english and french. Added to the experience. Pretty cruise through some of the islands. Great way to spend an afternoon.

      Great sightseeing
We booked a 1.5 hour cruise with 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises. Departure was on time and the ship was very clean. We chose to sit on the upper deck and the view was splendid all around. The weather was just gorgeous and the St-Lawrence waters were calm. Information about the various landmarks throughout the entire cruise was provided in both French and English. There were four of us on that mini cruise and it was truly enjoyed by all. We highly recommend this cruise.

      Castle Blast
The cruise (at up to 70kmh) was fantastic- we blasted out to Singer Castle with classic rock and some interesting commentary from our enthusiastic Captain. The sea crew offered a much appreciated bar service - loved that the trolley was an old Canada 3000 relic. Cruise was awesome, one star held back as the boarding system, as well-trained Canucks do we all lined-up expecting to board in queue order. Nope - Captain starts calling out the numbers on the boarding passes for priority. Would have been nice to know as it would have saved 25 minutes standing in the sun. But value and fun for money once aboard were outstanding.

Beautiful day in Brockville and the cruise was a highlight. Felt safe with the covid measures and found the commentary interesting and not intrusive. Sat on the top deck at the back and had amazing views. My daughter who is in her twenties also really enjoyed it. When booking you are asked to pick up your tickets half an hour before or they can sell your spot, this is made clear on booking . I thought the price was well worth it. The staff were friendly and polite.

The cruise is fine and very interesting. It is another story for customer service and care! During the whole trip, unacceptable LOUD music is played - a steady 80-90 DB with bursts (typically after the "Captain" speaks) of 120DB (which is DAMAGING to your hearing...)! And when you mention this to one of the "Captains", they simply IGNORE your complaint! So if you go, a good piece of advice is to bring some ear protection (especially for children).

Terrible terrible terrible. We were running late on our 3 hour car journey from Toronto to Brockville. They never even bothered to help us reschedule when we called for help. Instead they ripped us off blind of our $45 deposit. Watchout! Do not use this shyster tour operator

This was a 90 minute cruise from Brockville, with a well-narrated commentary along the way. It was interesting, reasonably priced, and easy to book.

We were on the top deck which was completely covered, but with the sides open, so there was protection from the sun as well as good air flow- a blessing on a hot summer morning.

I find the entire trip is very poorly designed. The boat is not very comfortable and the cruising was only limited to the Canadian water. Given the price of the tickets the tour should have been more on the bigger side of the river. I wouldn’t recommend this trip to anyone. We have family came from overseas and we told them about going in the US and Canadian water but that didn’t happen.

It was a wonderful day and experience! The cruise was very informative and the views are amazing! The kids loved the boating experience and there was plenty for them to see. The crew of the ship were very attentive and friendly. All in all, I would highly recommend this as a fun family activity!

A very nice and informative cruise around the 1000 Islands. At times it was hard to hear the taped commentary because of the large amount of tourists speaking loudly on the boat. We arrived early and lined up for about 45 minutes prior to leaving. We got an outside seat on the top deck so we had a great view. The weather was good and the drinks were cold and reasonably priced. I think this cruise wouldn't be suitable for young children as they would feel too restricted and bored.

I enjoyed learning the history of this amazing River and area but was annoyed by the children under 5 who became bored by this outing within minutes of departure and decided to scream and cry the entire time. Maybe recommend a different trip for families of young children.
