I contacted Marvyn's Paradise Tours with a request for a Private Tour similar to one I'd had previously years before. I wanted my friend to experience the Jamaica that Marvin's Tours previously introduced me to. We started out in a really nice vehicle from the cruise terminal in Ocho Rios with Kenneth as our host/driver. He took us immediately through Ocho Rios to Fern Gully. Now, Fern Gully is just a winding road through a dense rainforest area. The trees and tree ferns are amazing. Kenneth would pull over and let us take a look at the foliage and point out plants of interest to us. From there we went to a specific overlook of the city. There's spectacular viewing of much of the island from that vantage point. When we left that beautiful view, we travelled to Mammee Bay Beach - a private club/luxury hotel area. There we lounged on the beach and swam in the most beautiful, crystal clear water. A pool had formed inside the reef and we waded chest deep as small sargeant major fish swam around us. Magical. After an hour or so of lounging and swimming with fishes, we dressed and a very patient Kenneth drove us to Scotchies for lunch. Now, you may not know Scotchies but Marvyn had me taken there on my very first scenic trip in Ocho Rios and it is the bomb! I could hardly wait to get back! We dined on jerk pork and jerk chicken and festival - sharing all. Now, the deal is that Scotchies is the best jerk food in Jamaica, well, I guess that makes it the best in the world then, right? You better go on over there. Let Marvyn hook you up! Actually Marvyn has lots of tour options and you will not find better service. Jo-El from Marvyn's Paradise Tours was totally awesome. My wife and I always wanted to do a horseback riding in the ocean. We can't wait to do it again when we come back to Jamaica.

We used Marvyn's Paradise Tours for both airport transfer and two individually crafted tours. Their communication and service was amazing! Our driver, Mr. T, was friendly and informative. He was always on time. We had one member of our group that was not feeling well and stayed at the VRBO. Mr. T stopped at a fruit stand and purchased fruits for the person so they could experience at least a bit of what we had experienced. I would highly recommend this team!

Joel was an absolutely an amazing driver with knowledge of the area, he was flexible with our trip and took us to a good local lunch spot and a lookout point for photos since we had extra time. Our guides at the blue hole, Jay and Travis, took great care of us, getting us to all of the best spots to jump from and get wonderful photos. Our tubing experience was also so fun and we went through vibrant forests and rafting areas that were very fun! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a fun break from resort life.

We did the Blue Hole first and everyone had a blast. J our tour guide was fantastic if you’re going request him. I was afraid to do the big jumps and jump from the falls but the kids did and had the best time. I would recommend this. Next we went to tube down white river and let me tell you it was an adventure there were rapids and dips and that guide was also amazing I can’t remember his name. But the best was our driver Joel he was fun, knowledgeable and even took us for a photo op that wasn’t part of our package. All in all. 100% recommend!!

The tour started at blue hole and felt rushed, then for the tubing experience the majority of the time you had to hold onto someone else’s tube. The sides of the river were littered with trash. Extremely disappointing

On time, knowledgeable, safe driver. Had no problem making a stop for us when requested. Kenneth was awesome. Would use again

Family of four had tge best time! Our driver guide Kenny did a fantastic job getting us to and from the ship and was very attentive to any wishes we had other than the excursion. Our two guides at the blue hole were great as well as Dwight at the river tubing. We will definitely recommend and return one day soon!!!

Perfect quick transfer to our hotel the Moon Palace and it was super affordable. They were on time and helpful, highly recommend.

The memories we were able to make as a family were priceless! We were so blessed to have an Amazing tour guide and driver. His name was Sean. Sean was so kind and shared Lot's of fun facts about Jamaica. He took us safely to each of our destinations and made sure we understood how to be safe and how not to be taken advantage of as there are some in the area that would do so. Sean even surprised us with decorating up the van for my daughters birthday and for our anniversary. He really helped personalize our experience in Jamaica! We all had such a wonderful time there! If you want to experience Jamaica - book a tour through Marvyn's. From the minute I emailed them, they were super helpful and ready to make our trip the best! We got off the cruise ship and they were ready and waiting for us with a large, clean, van for our group of 9 (16-69), even with our last minute booking, (we weren't sure we would be able to stop with Hurricane Helene threatening). Our driver, Sean, was the greatest guy!! He took us to Dunn's River Falls (which was AMAZING), and we were some of the first people there. He helped us understand how to be careful around the people selling souvenirs and he took care of us. Our guide at Dunn's River was awesome too. I lost my watch and they were able to dive and find it for me. We were celebrating our anniversary and our daughter's birthday and while we were hiking the falls, Marvyn personally came and with Sean they decorated the van for us. It was awesome!! The drive up to Blue Hole and our experience there was AWESOME! If you like to jump, dive, or flip into beautiful clear water, then this is the place. Sean knew a lot about the area and he took good care of us! He also suggested we stop at Linda's for the best jerk chicken, oxtail, and rice, and even called ahead to make sure there was enough food for us. It was honestly the best trip ever! We feel like Sean is part of our family now and we would love to visit again. We will definitely book through Marvyn's, and will request Sean to take care of us again!

We heard about Marvyn's Paradise Tours from a You Tube video posted by a cruise ship passenger. We reached out to Marvyn's Paradise Tours and they setup a private van with the driver/tour guide to pick us up at the cruise port as we were arriving on Disney's Fantasy. This port is far from what we consider the highlights of Jamaica. We requested a private van to take our family of 4 adults and 2 children to Dunn's River Falls and The Blue Hole. We specifically asked for Joel as we saw him on the You Tube video. Joel was an awesome guide telling us about the parishes and history of Jamaica as he drove. He played and sang along to music that we enjoyed. At both sites, he directed us where to pick up our tickets and made sure we knew where to start our adventures and where to meet him. As we were being driven back to the cruise port, Marvyn called us personally to thank us for choosing his tour company and to ask us if we enjoyed our day. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company whether you book a specific tour or ask him to customize plans to go where/do what you want to do.
